I'm really quite impressed by this restaurant. But I would have to say if I could recommend any place that has the best breakfast and brunch.It would have to be this one as well. I came here one sunday after church.And I figured, why not, it wasn't all that busy.So I went ahead and came in. I was immediately seated and I took the time to look over the menu and they had a lot to offer. You can choose lunch or you can even choose breakfast.Slash brunch I ultimately chose brunch. I tried the peachy palmer, and I also tried the french toast meal that came with hash browns.Eggs, and it also came with this corned beef. We wanted to like this place so much! The burgers, tots, drinks, and service were all on point! The only thing that could have been better was the management. Even from our few visits, we could tell that that's where they severely lacked. Location-wise, this place was tucked into a little stripmall-ish type area with plenty of parking. The restaurant itself was decently roomy. On all three of our visits, the food took forever to come out. Twice the servers came out to apologize for the length in time. The third time, the owner had invited and catered an elephant politician in the next room leading to the backup of food for the PAYING CUSTOMERS in his own restaurant. The owner seemed super giddy and privileged to have that politician in his restaurant even at the expense of his (again for the folks in the back) PAYING CUSTOMERS. The restaurant was rather full too so we all had to wait with our growling stomachs while the owner was fawning at the "celebrity" next door. Truly warped priorities as a business owner. So when they decided to close their doors after (supposedly) sinking every dime that they had into the restaurant, they also stiffed their employees who they asked to work until the very last day while they still owed them all back pay. True leaders would go down with the ship. Instead, these folks took a vacation to see their child graduate out of state while the employees were asked to volunteer their time to keep their restaurant open. The most ironic thing about it all is that they most likely voted in the very person who sunk the economy so bad that they could no longer stay afloat. We went there 15 Feb 2025 5:30pm. Was not busy. Looked like three waitresses were there when the owners of the restaurant left. Then the place on a Saturday night got busy, not enough waitresses ( who were RUNNING). You need more waitresses or waiters on a Saturday. So that hurt your review. What saved it was the cheese curds and fried pickles. Delish!!! We had mushroom Swiss burgers and you always give an abundance of fries. Which are also delicious. Ambiance for a person like me as a retired nurse, loves it. HOWEVER, as owners, you need to have more staff or stay there and assist. Check out the busy times and stay longer. Rally Point Grille in Evans is a neat spot. I'm just a little sad that I didn't discover it sooner before I moved away from the Augusta area. The overall theme of the restaurant is definitely US military. It is decorated with military paraphernalia, all inside, and the names of that on the menu are reflective of the same. They certainly respect Veterans in this establishment! From my comprehensive review of the menu, they sell burgers, hotdogs, and all types of entrées - a lot of traditional meat and potatoes type of thing. (Like meatloaf). Their restaurant is located within an outdoor strip mall type of center. There are a lot of tables and chairs for dining inside as well as a pretty large bar. Bars have a lot of beers on tap. I don't believe there was any outdoor seating. One time I went there and ordered a cup of chili and a cup of coleslaw to go. I explained that I wanted to make my own hotdogs at home that I had previously purchased from the grocery store and I just wanted the chili and coleslaw to go on top. The bartender was cool with my order,l - told me she totally understood and supported my endeavors all the way, haha. I simply drank a hazy IPA while I waited. I also jealously watched the people next to me eating a sampler appetizer platter and I secretly wanted a whole bunch of what they were eating, but I stuck to my guns and ordered my food to go. I think if I had to give a drawback of this location, for me, it would be that it is not a standalone place. I feel like there would be a lot more people who came here and who knew about the place if that were the case. That being said, I think it's fine just the way it is. There is ample parking available and ample places for people to sit and dine. Highly recommend if you are looking for hearty bar food or if you are just really into US military culture. It was chaos with the hostess being everywhere but being the hostess. I thought I saw the owner / manager standing close to the back of the restaurant and kind of shook my head like what is happening. More and more people coming in looking to eat. No one taking names. They weren't even that busy in here, probably because no one's names were being taken. Late on leaving a review. We stopped in on Friday night September 15 before attending a Show at the Columbia County Performing Arts Center. Really didn't expect to get seated in time to make the show. However even as busy as it was they seated us promptly. Being the first time eating here the waitress made some excellent suggestions. We tried the Fried Cheese curds. They were phenomenal. Main course we had the Paris Island dog with fries and it was delicious. My wife had the Sergeants wrap with fries and it was great. The restaurant had a theme that honored our military and not just a small token. That was a plus for me Only one small thing was I would have preferred the French fries to be cooked a little more. We've enjoyed the sandwiches and fries at Rally Point a few times since they've opened. Service is always fast and efficient and the food is always hot and delicious. I highly recommend any of their handhelds. Sometimes it can get a bit loud and hard to have a conversation with the people you're dining with, but they offer karaoke and some of the patrons will dance throughout the restaurant. Husband and I went on Veteran's Day for dinner to celebrate, as we are both Veteran's. As we entered, there was only one other table of 3. We ordered burgers and fries. FORTY minutes later, our food finally arrived! Extremely dissatisfied with the bland food to top it off. The FIVE employees out front were mostly hanging out by the front window or otherwise, completely ignoring us, though they were chatting with the other table. We questioned, after our food arrived, why it took so long. Next thing you know, all the employees were walking by and looking at us. The cook finally came out and we explained our dissatisfaction and his response was like talking to a statue. We asked if he was the owner and he said yes. Said they never give Veteran's discounts, even on this day. Said he couldn't financially afford to and he was a franchise. The WHOLE place is decorated with all military memorabilia. Guess that's their way of getting people in the door, just to be let down. My first visit and it will definitely not be my last, this place was phenomenal and a hidden gem overlooked for months now! We started things off with their garlic cheese curds, YUM!!! Then we ordered a cheeseburger with blue cheese (medium perfectly cooked) was worth a salute, super juicy and the Reuben was absolutely delicious and wasn't soggy. Server was extremely friendly and helpful, the owner even stopped by to make sure everyone was happy. Building and bathrooms were super clean. Don't waste your time. Huge waits to get seated and to put in your order. Took over an hour for my order to come to the table. Then my food didn't match my order. The quality of food was not bad but definitely not good or worth the high price. Do not order the onion ring appetizer. Definitely not worth it. There is only military discount on Thursdays. Which is very strange for a restaurant that seemingly caters to the local military and veterans. Seems all just a ploy to attract the local military with their cutsie military names for menu items and a sob story for the owners - but all just to grab veteran attention for very mediocre food quality and terribly slow service. Family of 4 went tonight as we had heard it was a good American fare restaurant. We started with an appetizer pretzel that was large and plenty for us (including our growing teenager). We each tried different things on the menu - the chicken wings (not breaded) were well cooked and sauced. The meatloaf sandwich with an onion ring on it was excellent with a large piece of meatloaf that was also well prepared. The braised beef was perfect in seasoning and super tender. And their burger disappeared before I could ask my son how it tasted. The fries and onion rings were very good and the Mac and cheese won over love you youngest. Fries were good but some onion rings were not cooked, just doughy. Our bill for 2 mixed drinks, 2 beers, an appetizer, 3 burgers and 1 chicken finger plate was over $100. The restaurant was decorated very nice, military themed and it was karaoke night. I don't know if they were short staffed or the kitchen was backed up, but it was definitely a letdown.
