I also had the 2 piece fried chicken and that was delicious. The okra was good, as well. My mom said the livers had no flavor like no seasoning this time, The sweet potatoes also had no flavor. My granddaughter loved her chicken but, not the fries. They also had no seasoning. She loved my daughter's sweet potato fries. My daughter said her shrimp and fish was good but, the fish (whiting) had bones in it. One thing that shocked us and was extremely disappointing, the pieces of cake. On the menu they sound so good and one would think the slices would be like from other restaurants like this. Wrong. These were little prepackaged Sara Lee cakes. We were not happy at all and they were $4 each. Smh.

This is a hard one. I avoided this place for a long time because of the bad reviews. I finally went…read morethere a few months back because my neighbors love it but they get the same thing every time. Wife and I loved it. We got the wings and crawfish dip. Went back for lunch with work and got the shrimp plate and it was awesome. Coworkers got the grilled chicken wrap and loved it. For lunch the value was fantastic. But went for a 3rd time tonight and tried some different items. Got the brisket Mac and cheese, Cuban Reuben Sandwich, and buffalo chicken dip. The brisket was super dry and had no taste and the mac tasted like it was out of a box and super dry as well. The chicken dip was just meh. The Cuban Reuben was my mistake as I thought it was just a Reuben. It was small and had hardly and corned beef and what little was there was super dry. So basically it was a Cuban with sauerkraut. Wasn't bad, but also wasn't good. So 2 out of 3 trips were good.

Not overly loud and family friendly, It was essentially pub food in my opinion. I got the wings and fries. Wings were smoked before being fried which brought out some extra deep flavors and their fries weren't oily. I also got to try their nachos, which was pretty flavorful; definitely better than the ones you get at Buffalo Wild Wings. Overall, my team and I were in and out, while full on good food in about an hour. Looking for a quick bite and an enjoyable experience? Highly recommend this location.

It is not a fancy setting and never has been. You don't come here for booze and schmooze. You come here to lick your lips and it ends up on your hips. That's not to say they don't have some healthier options, like the delicious grilled chicken breast I had today. Hubby loves their 1/2 lb hamburger steak. It comes topped with onions and your choice of a generous portion of Heinz 57 or A1. He's an A1 and I'm a 57. Back to the amazingness that happened today...had no clue they had upped their food game. They have a list of daily vegetables on display. We always order the green beans since they are the best around. Now they have other sides. Let me tell you this- the sweet potato casserole was the kind of thing that keeps you awake wishing you could have it DoorDashed to you at midnight (yes, I just made a new verb). It was so good that after my meal, we ordered another side of it to share. It's just that melt-in-your-mouth good. Closing your eyes and making that mmmm sounds along with it. As a bonus, if you've been needing to slap someone but haven't been able to figure out how to do it- bring them here to eat with you and once you taste this casserole- problem solved! It's so good you'll seriously want to slap somebody. Bring a coworker. Your momma ain't gonna let you slap her if she is like mine was. This food is the home grown type. The biscuit served with my dinner was the best and biggest I've had in a long time. Yes, I should have taken pics but I was in the grub zone. Anyways, come see for yourself if you haven't been lately, or ever. It does get busy at lunchtime and the staff will be hustling, so don't expect too much southern charm.
