3 burgers fries and drink. $22. Juicy burgers, needed some seasoning. Fries were fresh and good with BBQ sauce. Server was friendly and welcoming. Took longer than expected to get the food.

Oh yeah! I chowed down on this nice thick burger!

We love Midway grill! Best hamburger and amazing service. From the outside it doesn't look like it should taste this good!

Eat here all the time. Wifie and I rate Midway burger and home fries as best in Aiken area for the money.

We were tempted by the homemade cakes so shared a piece of the red velvet and the carrot, which was a good decision because they were both outstanding.

We also tried the burger and beef patties with brown gravy, fried okra, and onion rings. The burger was pretty bad - not cooked well and not very tasty. The beef patties with gravy were just passible. The okra was excellent and the onion rings were good. The place is very very loud and the exhaust does not work very well so the place is filled with cooking fumes. The service was good.

Over 40 minutes for food and then they brought NO condiments for the shrimp! Who plates a shrimp basket with NO cocktail or tartar sauce. Told the waitress and I kid you not she brought us marinara sauce. Had to wait another 10 minutes to get cocktail sauce for a now cold shrimp basket. Two waitresses for a Sat. Afternoon. We were there before the dinner rush. Around 5pm. This is the third time we have tried this place since the New ownership. We keep trying to give them a chance but we keep being disappointed. It's a shame because it's a nice updated place. Some vast improvements need to be made with staff and service and food. Mediocre at best!

We were then seated in the small side room to the right that has 3 tables. Everything started off ok, then soon declined. We felt like we were forgotten because we were seated away from the center area. Service became worse. Our waitress, Paige, was nice at the start, but we felt as if we were being rushed. We were there on a Wednesday evening and there were plenty of empty tables. We were very easy and only there for 1 & 1/2 hours. We felt like we were bothering her. We asked three times (2 different employees) for wine/water refills, which we waited 15 minutes for. Just as we were getting up to find someone to cancel them, they were brought out in a hurry. The wedge salad is good, very small. A small, adorable, well behaved dog was sitting in a chair at the table next us. Her head rested on the table with her owners. She was let down and went over and vomited between our table and hers. Numerous employees noticed it and walked past/over it several times without getting it up. It continued to sit there as we ate our meals. Then, an employee stepped in it and continue on as if not to see it. We really wanted this to be great and see that the new ownership was going well, but we were terribly disappointed. We unfortunately will not be back. For the price of food and atmosphere, The Willcox is a much better option. I truly do not like writing such a negative review, but hopefully they will improve the issues we in countered tonight.

Groups of 4 I think is the preferred max. My forever disclaimer: PLEASE be nice and courteous with your waiter/waitresses. Because I only saw 2 waitresses and about 12-13 tables occupied. Despite that, we got really good service and would be one of the reasons why my family and I would go back. And despite it being a full house: all of our meals came in 5-7 minutes! Perhaps an anomaly, but even if it was a few mins longer I wouldn't have been disappointed. Food was good. Not great, but good enough. Worse thing I could say is my parent's omelette was more on the greasy side. I thought my sandwich and side was really good. Especially how much I paid for it. Total price was $60 for 4 people (2 sandwiches, 2 omelettes, and 2 drinks). Perhaps more than I would have preferred, but we didn't think it was terrible. I noticed price went up a little when looking at a menu uploaded a month ago. I know times are tough, but hopefully they're able to stay with the prices they're at for a while. Verdict: your decent diner. The staff and location after Mass is enough for me to come back pending on the day.
