Party room will seat 36. 30 is more comfortable. Food portions are large. We didn't order apps and still took food home. If you have a large party, they automatically add a 20% tip to the bill. Unlike some restaurants, the tip is pre tax. Our server was very nice and all of the orders came out correct. Went here and loved it. Got the fish and chips, which I recommend. The fish was fresh, crisp, and delicious. The facilities were clean. I would love to check out the bar and hear the piano guy next time I'm in town. Great place for large groups, or a cozy date night. read more

Don't let the strip mall deter you...this place has the BEST vibes. We got right in (the restaurant is huge!). We had some amazing cocktails (midnight mule was excellent) and both ordered burgers (but countless other menu items were tempting). Loved the live piano music and outside/lounge areas were cool too. For the second time in as many visits we were disappointed in the timeliness of service, I understand that it is casual dining but... The last time we gave them a pass even with a wait of over 30 minutes between ordering and service Tonight at 6 we were seated, within sight of the hostess so after 15 minutes without a contact we spoke to her, We left 15 minutes later. The manager walked by at least 3 times but failed to make contact. It really is too bad this place has good food. read more

Every time we come to Aiken we stop here and it never disappoints! As a horse person, I love the horse themed decor and it is so beautiful on the inside. The food is also delicious and everything I've tried is always so good! Never once have we had an issue with the service and all the staff are so friendly! The restaurant is ENORMOUS. It's moody and dark, with decoration and style that unites the space. An aesthetic date night spot. Can't go wrong with the chicken tenders. I came here for a work dinner, and to say it met my expectations might be an understatement. They do happy hour from 3-6pm, so select drinks are cheaper and certain apps are $6. I got their espresso martini and truffle fries, and both were just so flavorful and phenomenal. They have a variety of menu items, and if you get chicken tenders like one of my coworkers did, it'll still be as good but I think you'll do yourself a disservice. I ordered the pan fried flounder with lemon and it came with some asparagus and risotto and a side salad. Food didn't take too long, and it paired with each other perfectly. I did get full, so I had some leftovers to take home. This is the perfect plane if you want something nice, but casual with friends, family, significant other, etc. read more

We were a party of 6 during Masters weekend. Logged on at 7:05 and got on the wait list for 7:30 dinner - 9th on the list. Drove the 15 minutes to the restaurant and were seated immediately. Good start. Samantha, our server, was very amiable and patient while we decided on appetizers and drinks - came back a couple of times to check on us. Started with calamari, which were breaded very lightly and were tender and cooked to perfect crispness. Special of the night was prime rib with mashed and broccoli for $48 - a little pricey, I thought, but ordered it anyway. I asked to sub collard greens for the mashed, and Samantha obliged, no problem. Two others ordered the pasta primavera, others ordered the crab cakes, Feed Sack (chicken) fingers and citrus-soy glazed salmon. Pasta primavera got great reviews, as did the tasty, crab-laden crab cakes and the fingers. The salmon would have been tasty were it not overcooked. My prime rib was delivered rare, as I ordered it, with excellent rich, deep flavored non-greasy jus and collard greens. The mashed potatoes came, even though the collard greens were supposed to be subbed for them, and I reminded Samantha of the broccoli, which she brought right out. We shared the bourbon bread pudding with blackberry sauce for dessert. The bread pudding part of that was good; blackberry sauce is not my idea of a good combination with bread pudding. Each of the entrees was prepared near perfectly, with the exception of the aforementioned salmon. The collard greens were a treat - something we in the north aren't used to, but were delicious - and the broccoli was cooked au pointe - not soft and not undercooked. The restaurant was nearly full when we got there, but not so noisy that we couldn't converse. The piano player playing mostly show-tunes was a great addition to the ambiance. Last week my husband and I dropped in for a quick dinner and ordered chicken tenders and salads. We were served chicken that should have been thrown out. Looked and tasted old, like it had been sitting around under a heat lamp for hours or maybe even a day or so. We had a wonderful NO WAIT lunch after church at The Feed Sack. Our waitress was all smiles and very professional. Our food came out in 15-20 minutes and was hot and heavenly. We had the blackened shrimp wedge salad with lots of blue cheese crumbles and bacon.. and the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich. All delicious with crispy fries. Those place is really a gem in a sleepy Walmart strip mall. From the outside, it doesn't look like much of anything. There are a few outside tables which are not very inviting and I assume are only there for people to smoke. But step inside and you're greeted by dark woods, a piano, and dim mood lighting (courtesy of the lack of windows). They have a nice selection of beers and great well drinks (Tito's b9dka and Tanqueray gin). read more

Wonderful place for a relaxed dinner. Old leather and dark wood, cozy with a piano player make this a great place to relax or for a fancy date night. The food was very affordable for the amount and quality. The veggies (brussel sprouts and asparagus) were perfectly prepared and the chicken fingers (look ibhad a specific craving don't judge me) were crispy and the sauces were delicious. The only thing keeping this from a 5 star review was the lack of timely service. I am not going to slam the server or the restaurant, I get it that it was busy and I was a 1 top and she had several larger tables to serve, that said, all I needed was some drink refills and I had to flag her down every time. I don't expect my cup to be full all the time but when I leave it visible on the corner of the table for over 5 minutes two different time and they walk by it several times in those 5 minutes I get a little grumpy. Wouldn't even have minded a wait but we tried to get in 90 minutes before closing and we're told that the kitchen was closed but we could sit at the bar and they would try to find us something from the bar menu. I NEVER leave a review. Our waitress (Joy) was amazing but the service was VERY slow. Restaurant was not super busy so no excuse for the slow food service. Food was literally not eatable. I got Lemon Caper chicken and substituted for whipped potatoes. I will start with the potatoes...they literally tasted like instant that was prepared with water. My chicken was WAY overcooked. Tasted crispy/burnt. The lemon caper sauce was a flour rue that had been thickened with cornstarch and capers were added. Asparagus was overcooked and stringy. My husband had the "beef short ribs". They were a far cry from short ribs, it was two slices of roast beef. It had the flavor of Dinty Moore beef stew. First of all the atmosphere was amazing. I cannot wait to go and enjoy drinks and wings outside with my friends. However the service was awful we didn't get refills until the ending of our meal. The pork belly was good but overly sweet. The broccoli was so salty until we both had one bit and didn't touch it again. The white rice is a little disappointing they should definitely jazz it up a bit. The house salad was simply that but the champagne dressing made the difference. The wings were the best thing we had crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My C. A.B filet was definitely one of the best cuts of beef I've ever had it melted in my mouth but had no flavor at all and I don't get sauce until the end of my meal as the server was busy waiting on multiple tables. Going with 4 stars because the ambience was so charming. Classy western rustic. Server was very kind. Slightly disappointed that the cocktail menu was themed for Christmas drinks and it is now February, so we chose two that may be the most fitting and they were not great. Brussel sprouts were good. Shrimp and grits entree was soooo delicious and savory. Short rib was also a winner I had to ask for extra glaze it was so good.
