We had free tokens for the ice cream flavor of the day. I stopped by here for the kiddos and the ice cream is always a treat, and we enjoy the unique flavors. We just moved to the area and this place came highly recommended. Unfortunately, we were sorely disappointed. We were immediately greeted with a warm welcome when we walked in and because nobody was in front of us, there were 4 people waiting to take our order. My husband and I each ordered a burger, fries, and a drink with a plan to get ice cream when we finished. We sat down to eat and watched drive through cars pass by fairly quickly while we waited for 15 minutes for our food. The burger on the sourdough bread (although it didn't taste like sourdough bread) was so burnt it had shriveled up. I could barely eat it. The fries were good. My husband's burger was just ok. The food and service were not good enough for us to want to come back. The restaurant is very large and there is plenty of room to spread out and have a private meal if you would like. Menu is not clear! They have a picture of butterfly shrimp and fries. I ask for 10 shrimp and two sides. The menu stated one price and then the transaction total was something else. 5 dollars more. The girl in the drive thru asked me to take a picture and show her what I was talking about. I did. She said she could see why it was confusing but that was the price. The manager comes to the window and begins to try to verbally clarify what should just be plainly stated on the menu. If it's a basket then it should say so. If it's a dinner, then it should say so. He finally took my order after we discussed at length what I wanted. He said it would come with a drink. He tells me to pull around to wait for my food and comes out with no drink! Really? 16 dollars and no drink? The value is not worth the cost of the food. It was my second time there. Had a great time at Culver's with my family. I have been wanting to try this place forever and at home there is not one near by. I was visiting Augusta over the weekend and there is a small town outside of August, Grovetown. I always stop there for a gas when heading back home but never turned to the left off the exit. I did a little research and found out there was a Culver's off that same exit. Culver's is surrounded by so many shops, restaurants, and right off the exit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. After placing your order, they give you a number and bring your food to your table. I ordered for myself and my mom. I went for the Butter burger with single with cheese and the cheese curds and a SLAMMIN MILKSHAKE, Reese's of course. The staff checked on us from time to time in the dining room. There hours on Saturday, have them closing at 10 and we literally sat there and talked and laughed most of the night. We left around 9:30. Great fellowship and food. THANKS CULVER'S!! read more

We had not been to Culver's Grovetown, Georgia since before the plandemic. Decided on a whim to go there this past Saturday. Because Cheese Curds! When we walked in there were many employees hard at work. We were waiting for someone to take our order when Jalea walked by and noticed us. She was hard at work helping another employee attend to the refuse receptacles in the dining room. She stopped what she was doing and went behind the counter and took our order. Impressive. Polite. Attentive. Professional. We went to the dining room to have our seats. While waiting, here come Jalea again. This time with samples of some food offering it to guests. When a guest asked for a specific sample of a product, she went to the kitchen and retrieved it for them. Our food was delivered to the table quickly and Evan asked if we needed or wanted anything else. We didn't order our Concrete Mixers until we were done eating our meal. This was handled quickly by yet another employee. Polite, professional and efficient. This review was prompted by Jalea and her attitude and work ethic. But while waiting for our desserts, we were observing the other employees. Watching their interactions. While we were waiting we were asked no less than 4 times by separate employees if we needed to order or needed anything they could help with. We saw employees constantly moving, constantly working. No one was idle. No one was on their phone. They were attentive and busy. They helped each other, they held each other accountable, offering advice and recommendations on completing their tasks. They were smiling. Not just for guests but at each other while working. I am not sure what the management team is doing at Culver's Grovetown, GA but they need to bottle that up and send it to 95% of the other service industry! Not only was the food as good as expected, but the environment was absolutely a pleasure to watch. Cleanliness was above reproach. Just a quality restaurant that I have a hard time referring to as "fast food" based on the other restaurants available in that niche. Simply fantastic experience in every way, shape or form. I have always wanted to come here. I've seen the commercials and knew it was just 12 mins away from me but hadn't had the chance until now. They serve hamburgers and fish sandwiches but is popular for their milk shakes and ice cream. As I walked in this establishment I knew this wasn't your ordinary fast food restaurant. The dining area is modern chic. Really comfortable. The lady that took my order was very friendly and patient as I took a moment to look over the menu it being my first time there. I ordered the Alaskan cod sandwich with crinkle fries. The fish had a crunchy coating and a nice taste but just needed a lil more salt to elevate the flavors. Fries was served hot and was not greasy. Outstanding! Phenomenal! Amazing! Hubby is from the Mid-west and insisted that we take a road trip to Grovetown, GA to visit a Culver's. I had never heard of Culver's in my life and I didn't think driving for 2.5 hours/152 miles each way for a burger restaurant was going to be worth it but boy was I wrong! As we were driving toward the building we could see the parking lot was nearly full and buzzing with patrons. That excited me because to me busy means scrumptious. The building was modern, clean, well lit and the electric blue awnings were an attention gettter. We walked in and immediately were greeted by workers in clean pressed uniforms. They were very polite, helpful, and served us with smiles. I looked up at the menu and had no idea what to order first. There was so much to chose from. So many tasty combinations, chicken, salads, Butterburgers, sides, drinks, shakes, and custards. My husband recommended Culver's Bacon Deluxe Basket for me and the Mushroom & Swiss Butterburger for him. To drink we each enjoyed a smooth, rich, and fruity Milkshake. We sat at our table and waited for our order to be served to us. My husband told me that each burger is made to order so the food is always served fresh and right off the grill. As our food was brought over a gentleman in a blue Culver's Uniform came to our table introduced himself as the co-owner Kraig Tabor! He asked us about the food, the service and what brought us there. He told us how he was from Wisconsin, had been a loyal Culver's customer for over 30yrs and his move to GA and opening up in Grovetown. He meticulously worked the room, speaking to regulars and recalling what they had ordered in the past he was amazingly warm without the phoniness. It's that special "feel at home" customer service that gets us to want to come back. Now for the food. I bit into my burger and the first thing that I noticed was the lettuce was crispy and the pickles were crunchy. The second thing I noticed was the tomatoes were fresh and the mayo was clinging on. The 3rd thing I noticed was the warm, well seasoned(garlic galore), beef patties that melted in my mouth. That most certainly was the juiciest, best cooked, best flavored, nicest prepared burger I had ever eaten in my life. The bun was fresh, buttered and toasted to perfect. This was an outstanding combination that works. The food is nostalgic, wholesome, and brings back memories of Mom & Dad's hamburgers in the 1970's without all of the modern day fu-fu-la. I would love for someone to bring a Culver's to the Charleston,SC Area. This was definitely a treat, I highly recommend it and Culver's has not seen the last of the Swansons! Visiting From Alabama for the weekend and this spot was close to the hotel I stayed in. The PEACH LEMONADE COOLER is the ABSOLUTE BEST THING EVER. I'm lactose intolerant so i couldmy try the delicious looking ice cream but I literally went and got a lemons every day of my trip. I also tried the Cod basket with fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was delicious. The fries were fresh and crispy. The cod was fresh, piping hot, and meaty. I was floored at how good that damn fish was. The breading was crispy and the fish was flakey. This is definitely the happiest Culver's I have ever been to. I really only write reviews when something is terrible or amazing. We came after the dinner rush on a Friday and were welcomed by several people. Food was great (it usually is at Culver's) and didn't taste like it sat under the warmer. While eating my burger on the way home, I looked down to find NOT 1 BUT 2 PIECES OF HAIR ON MY BURGER! Not only that, there was black fuzz all over the cheese. This burger seems to have been dropped on the ground and served. I'm sick to my stomach. I called to complain, and the manager offered me another meal for free I declined. I wouldn't take a pack of salt from this establishment if they paid me to come pick it up. I will never look in the direction of this place again, and I'll be calling to make a complaint with the health department. -5 stars, and if you're backed up and want a laxative, stop by this location. My husband and I don't enjoy fast food establishments. However, traveling to Georgia, one of my husbands friends suggested Culver's to us. "You guys have to try the burgers, they are the best!" "In my town, we don't have a Culver's but I stop here whenever I can and grab a couple for the road and a couple for the house!" My husband and I looked at each other with amazement. The place is clean, people are polite, and the food is cooked to order. The burgers are freshly made beef patties, cheese curds (like fried string cheese), hot firs and wow the made from cows fresh strawberry milkshake was heavenly. Not too thick, not too thin. We got a burger called the butter burger and with topping of our choice at no extra charge. We did not feel stuffed or bloated afterwards either. Fast food will never be the same for us. Ordered a dine-in meal for one while on a work trip. After waiting for 9 minutes after putting in my order, I took finally took my number to the counter, only to find the staff arguing/yelling at each other while multiple baskets were backing up, waiting to be finished. Eventually one of the employees in the group (out of the 4 or 5 employees standing there watching this argument) recognized that I was waiting, and pushed the rest of the crew to stop yelling and to get me my food. I love Culver's overall, and find it to be reliably the best fast food chain. But this location needs some work on their customer service / staff training. read more
