The floor was very clean, and they really treat their place like it's a castle. The food was amazing, and the quality was top-notch. I can personally tell you these workers really go above and beyond just so that their customers are taken care of. I didn't have enough to get a meal for the hamburger and I asked the cashier how much it would cost to get a fry and it costs more than what I had. So I want to give him the hamburger and it turns out that when I had recent to the bag the eat turns out that I had fries with my hamburger. I asked the cashier that he didn't have to do that for me but he said that he didn't mind and that he wanted to. This is what I call excellent service with excellent food. read more

This is absolutely the best Five Guys I have ever been to because of the over the top customer service provided by all the staff. Our family was treated like we were the most important people in the world. I ordered the small cheeseburger with onions, grilled jalapeños, and mustard. My kids also ordered the small cheese burger with their favorite fixings. The staff was so incredibly patient and kind when taking my two nine year olds orders. My hubby got the regular cheeseburger with his desired toppings. We also got the insanely large order of "regular" fries. The peanuts are a nice touch to keep the kids from getting hangry while you wait. Everything came out perfectly made to order and hot fries. Yes there is a God because hot fries. I like mine with ketchup while the hubby uses the malt vinegar. The restaurant was crazy clean and well-maintained. So glad the five guys in grovetown is finally open! Their burgers are very juicy and delicious as advertised. If you enjoy customizing your burger without employee complaints then you will love the hospitality here. The hard working men and women of Five Guys do an incredible job of making you feel welcome. They have the fancy touch screen soda machine that lets you create the perfect flavored beverage. FYI the regular burgers come with 2 patties and the Little burgers come with only one. Been here a couple more times over the last few months. Staff wears their masks when I come in, and food is always great. They did forget the cheese on my wife's bacon cheeseburger and she was sad but the food was still really good. As usual, we recommend eating the fries sooner rather than later. A little pricy too, but you're paying for quality food. Would come back in a pinch or a pregnancy craving for my wife. read more

I recently went to this Five Guys in Grovetown because it's pretty new. It was good, and I will definitely go back. I only gave the restaurant 4-stars because its the same as every Five Guys and there was nothing special about this location. I have been to Five Guys in all sorts of cities and this one had the same friendly atmosphere and good food that every other Five Guys has. If you like fresh burgers with a large variety of toppings to choose from, this is your place. If you like fries with a different sort of flavor to them, try the fries at Five Guys. They are cooked in peanut oil and come out with a really distinct flavor compared to fast food restaurants. I would be careful when ordering though, the sizes of the fries are really big. I made the mistake of ordering a medium fry my first time and ended up with enough fries to feed 3-4 people! read more

I'm giving them one star due mainly to service and a little because of food. Now, I understand not going to a restaurant when it's about to close but I showed up at 9pm and they closed at 10pm. I also work 3rd shift so it's hard to get good food. One hour until close isn't that bad in my opinion. The worker at the front told me there were no more fries left so uh ok. There were racks of potatoes in the restaurant dining area. It was a let down in the whole Five Guys experience with a big greasy burger and fries like crazy. My burger was ok but lacked flavor aka grease so it wasn't like I've had them. After eating I went over to Chick fil a and got a large waffle fry. That place never lets you down. The burgers here are not that good. The patties were over-cooked and a little burned on the outside and the inside of the patties were tough and not juicy at all. What can I expect from a chain? The patties were also very thin. I would just choose Farmhaus burger everyday of the week for a cheaper price. Just don't go here. On Saturday, myself, son and daughter went to this location for a first visit. Service was good as we were the only people there. Food is over rated and over priced. $10 for a hamburger that was so small!!. I pictured a huge burger for that price but NOT!!! My daughter ordered the coffee milkshake and we went to sit down---the cashier yelled across the room that they were out of coffee flavor so she needed to choose another one. She chose the caramel salt one and she said it tasted like table salt was used in it instead of sea salt. The food is always great. However, we came in about thirty minutes until close on a Friday. The lady at the register rudely told us they were out of fries, while I watched one employee throw a bunch away and then dip more in the fryer. I went back to the car, because I only wanted fries. My husband waited inside for his order to go. He said that only one employee of the three was actually working. The female employee was on her cell phone and not doing anything. The employee who made his burger let my husbands burger sit there for a few minutes to see if the others would pick up slack, in which they didn't. Then they all started to argue; in front of a restaurant of people. My husband finally got his food, and the one guy apologized.
