Speed is not one of your qualities. I can make a whole Thanksgiving dinner in less time it took for us to get our food. Do you only have one person in the kitchen cooking? I now remember why I no longer go to this location. Did a Carside to Go order on the app and the time ready was supposed to be 8:07 pm, but they didn't bring the order out to my husband until 8:27pm. In fact, no one bothered to even ask him if he was waiting on an order until 8:25, and that person was on break. He said the food felt warm, but that was likely due to it being under the heat lamps because it was ice cold by the time he brought it in the house three minutes later. I'm not exaggerating - bodies in a morgue have a higher temp than my poor fish dinner. The mushrooms on his burger were congealed. Worst of all? The lemon slice that was tossed in with the fish. It's rotten and looks as if someone bit into it a few days ago after taking a shot. It even felt slimy! I haven't been in Applebees in a very long time. Met up with an old Army buddy and wanted a place to relax for lunch. We ordered the White Queso Dip & Chips for appetizer before receiving our "NEW White Cheddar Bacon & Chicken Skillet" and the "Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp with Homestyle Cheezy Broccoli". Both meals came out SIZZLIN which was great! Both our chicken dishes were cooked perfectly. My bourbon chicken and shrimp was juicy and delicious. The cheesy broccoli was good too. A Wednesday night - very few people in the restaurant. Apparently our waitress was on her first night (which she didn't tell us until we were leaving). She was very slow; didn't bring us napkins; out drinks were late; took our appetizer and drink orders, brought them, but then didn't take our dinner order until she returned a while later and asked "if we need anything" - uh, yea, how about our dinner order? Got there shortly after they opened. Our server was not friendly. Took forever to get overcooked boneless wings. Then our server said they were out of steak. Took about an hour for food. My chicken for my oriental chicken salad was so hard. Didn't realize fried food could be so hard to make. Every Applebee's I've ever had has been unimpressive or just flat out terrible. The flavor is absent, the items are unseasoned or the wait staff is rude/underwhelming. I've not made it my business to dine into this restaurant, but let me tell you something! This location? Excellent!! We ordered carry out and delivery - both times the food left me wishing I had gotten more. The flavors were loud (I got the Chipotle Lime Chicken) and I could actually taste the components of the dish. Delivery was fast and carry out took some time but we had 10 menu items, so that was understandable. If ever I can't choose what I want, Applebee's will be first on my list! read more

Wowzer! I have NEVER reviewed an APPLEBEES! Not sure why... BUT this one was worthy of me takin the opportunity to do so. Y'all probably know by now that I'm a California girl transplanted in the "A!" Still a NEWBIE! But totally enjoying my stay here in GA!! With that being said... it is the HOSPITALITY at this Applebee's that forced me to write a review! And... it is an easy FORCE! ;-). Sooooo... ummm YES! I totally enjoyed having lunch here with a brand new friend! We met for the first time as we are both transplants to GA under very similar circumstances. She chose this place and I agreed since I'm an easy person to please. I am so glad we came here. Marco our server was so friendly and energetic and had such a warm personality. He constantly checked on us and made sure we were ok. We talked way too much! But he understood and didn't make us feel as if we were holding him up from doing his job or they and that was a bonus. Also everything was FRESH! Our drinks were delicious and food as well I ordered the Asian tacos and my lunch date the quesadilla burger which I got to try and it was also delicious and a flavorful medley was definitely going on! (I'll have to try that next time!) They gave my mom a hard time about getting her refund and kept trying to talk her into coming back we do not live close to the restaurant so it was not worth our gas and time to go back to the restaurant. They kept arguing with her about her order and when she asked to look for the food didn't even give it two seconds later " I'm sorry ma'am we don't have it" they didn't even leave the phone. This is less of a review of the food, and essentially a review of the way they absolutely have no respect for doordashers or their time. Each time I've come here I've had to apologize to my customer because Applebees takes an hour to make a simple take out order that's should have been ready when I got here. Also, they don't even seem to feel bad about it. The waiters and waitresses avoid eye contact and act like doordashers don't exist. But I'm not even going to blame them. This is clearly an issue with the kitchen staff and the managers for not controlling their store adequately. read more
