I had very high expectations coming here and I still was pleasantly surprised. This is by far the best Detroit style pizza I've ever had. I had the pepperoni hot honey and it was the perfect balance of savory and sweet, I also had the vodka sauce one which had onions, sweet tomatoes, and bacon and it was unbelievable. Even had a great cheese pull. I tried a variety of their desserts, I had the key lime pie, the Reese's pie, banana cream pie, coconut pie, and churro dulce de leche pastry. All were delicious! The service was great and pizza came out at a good time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of the place is nice and the pizza is made pretty much in front of you.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And lots of parking. Overall I have zero complaints and would absolutely come again.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Extremely clean and tastefully decorated space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered half pepperoni and half mushroom and it was absolutely delicious! Love a Detroit style pie and we weren't disappointed; crispy crust, airy dough, and lots of cheese. I couldn't resist getting a piece of banana cream pie (with nilla wafer pieces) to go. It was perfect. Highly recommend Krust! Can't wait to come back to this area so we can try a different "pie" and pie!

AMAZING! Great service by warm people (owners). Awesome spot, very spacious and clean. Now for the pizza, I'll probably say this is the best deep dish I've had in Miami/Keys. Why? Bc it's just the right amount of thickness. Some others are too filling. Krust hits it right on the spot and the flavors are delicious! Can't wait to go back and try their wings, salad, and another pie! Will definitely be back. (Sorry, ate half the home made dessert before I took the pic)

Run don't walk or rather don't nap! This is the Best Pizza if ever had in my Life! The cheesy crust, the cheese and the sauce is spectacular! This husband and wife show is amazing! They close Monday & Tuesday because they are making the fermented dough! Great pizza shop, modern , very clean and wholly owned and operated by a very appreciative husband and wife team - the staff of only two would explain the limited operating hours 12 PM - 6 PM although if you add in the prep time and clean up time and everything else required to run a business it's a long day I'm sure. We arrived a few minutes before noon and there were already people waiting to go inside. The menu is simple which allows for an extraordinarily focus on everything that is plated here - one size pizza definitely is plenty for two, the chef brings a unique perspective to each dish I thought the pepperoni honey pizza was amazing the airy but crispy crust topped with fresh quality ingredients and plenty of them and the attention to detail raises the bar here in the Keys. I loved the small diameter pepperoni, the hand torn basil leaves and the low moisture mozzarella which gives that stretch that so many pizza houses miss. We also shared a Caesar Salad which was also was plenty for two to share so simple and fresh. I'd be remised if I didn't mention a few oddities, I have no issue ordering at the counter and prepaying including the gratuity if I was a local I'd know that the food and service will exceed my expectation - for people passing through the area I think it's a bit more challenging and the owners my be leaving some money on the table but for a two person operation it is the most efficient way to operate. Being the drinks are individual servings if I want a second or third one I have to pay again and if I decide on pie as an afterthought I have to pay again not very efficient for the customer. I loved this place and definitely would return when I'm back in the area...

My friends & I had lunch at Krust. The menu is pretty small. There are half a dozen pizzas that are 10x10". They have wings. They have meatballs. They have a few salads. You order at the counter & pay when you order. I find this a bit strange if you are eating there, especially the part of tipping before you have eaten anything. When your dish is ready, they bring it to the table. We all had different items and everything was really good. Portions are generous. Not inexpensive at $25 with tip for meatballs and bottled water. Inside is bright and open with lots of windows, widely spaced tables and wood flooring. I would definitely return.

I ordered take out with Krust the other day and think the pizza was delicious. The crust itself is almost a ciabatta texture with an air-y dough that is prepared, cooked, and cut in a square shape for a non-traditional style pizza. I love how there are 5 pies that you can order and anything else can still be custom made. While the pizza was delicious I was hoping it would include a side sauce, pepperoncini, or some other spice but am still quite content with the mouth watery taste. The prices I feel are a bit high for a more medium size pie but once again, as far as flavor is concerned, they knocked it outta the park!

Drove 1.5 hours to give this pizza shop a try. Worth every minute, mile and, dollar. I had the top seller with pepperoni and brought back cheese pie plus a slice of an oreo pie. It was lovely to meet you all and take pictures . I will return along with my friends but first, I will call to make sure you don't run out. Love you guys!

Dave Portnoy reviewed this Detroit-style pizza on Barstool yesterday and it just so happened we were in town the same time as him. He gave it a great review so we had to stop and try. OMG I'm glad we did because it was the best Detroit-style we have ever had and my boyfriend is from Detriot. A married couple just opened it in September and they are the only employees! My husband found this pizza place on Yelp and wanted to try it. The pizza was delicious. The crust was wonderful. I like thick crust and my husband likes thin crust. My husband said this crust was thick but had the crispiness of thin. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was nice. Restaurant was very clean. Felt like Detroit style pizza to me, but I don't want to misgender the pie. Honey pepperoni was solid. A nice ring of perfectly "burnt" cheeses was a nice touch. Cool inside and dog friendly outside. Owners are doing a great job. read more

i give them 3.5 stars i ordered takeout from here on a Sunday. i called 6 times before someone picked up. i ordered the burrata pizza, the pepperoni pizza and two caesar salads. the pizzas were small but good - edging towards very good. the salads were slightly better than decent. two pizzas and two salads were a little over $70. that's just bananas to me. sure, you're in the keys, but that's pricey. and these aren't pizzas you share, these are personal sized. it's a husband and wife team. no helpers, which i guess is why it took 6 calls to get through. if you don't care about money, then i'd give it 4.5 stars read more

The food was absolutely delicious! The flavor of the wings and the seasoning on the pizza was out of this world! I walked in the restaurant to grab my pickup order and the restaurant smelt so good, everything was clean and all the food look great! The service was great as well, the family (workers) was so fun and kind. I will definitely come again and will always be so excited to do so! read more

Amazing pizza and service! We were so happy we stopped here for dinner while visiting the Keys. We got the pepperoni with hot honey and the Classic. The sweetness of the honey was a delicious combination with the savory pepperoni. The crust was delicious, airy and absolutely perfect. The Classic was yummy too. We've been looking for good pizza in the Keys and finally found it. We had pepperoni and cheese and it was so yummy. The crust with the crispy cheese is delicious. The pizza dough is amazing and makes a wonderful pizza. Summer burrata salad was amazing and the chicken wings were so good. We were going to order today but they sold out of pizza (super fresh ingredients) so we will try again tomorrow! The owners are so nice and friendly and the service was great. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and it's super clean and spacious. Our go to pizza place in the Upper Keys! read more

I've only been able to catch them open twice so far because their hours are noon to 6pm. I tried to go there for lunch on a Monday, but they're only open Wednesday through Sunday. The salads and deep dish pizza are very good. read more

The husband and wife that own the restaurant are the absolute sweetest and the pizza is phenomenal. They use fresh ingredients and it definitely makes a difference. It has taken the place as my favorite pizza EVER. I'm from Chicago, so saying that this is my favorite pizza should say a lot. They also have homemade desserts that are delicious!! We tried the pepperoni pizza with hot honey, and for dessert we tried the Oreo pie and the burnt cheesecake. I will definitely be back. read more

Hands down the best pizza in the Keys and I would go out of my way to stop here. Lucky for me we were staying close by and grabbed a pie and a slice of key lime for takeout today. This was a great square pie, one of my top 10 square pies, really light and crunchy at the same time. I eat a lot of pizza in the Jersey, New Haven and Philly areas and this is def in that ballpark of those top places. The desert menu looked good and I was surprised by how great the key lime was, don't sleep on the slice of pie. Keep up the good work! read more

With a new era small menu, ordering here is simple and easy, with a little something for everyone. Including the picky eaters. 10/10 makes eating pizza for lunch 7 days a week plausible. Since we were here though, when in Rome do as the Romans do, so we figured we'd give it a shot. It reminded us of that episode of Dexter where he's helping a friend who is dying and she wants to find the best key lime pie. That was kind of the energy we had going into it, just looking for the experience. I also picked up some white chocolate covered cherries but we haven't gotten to those yet. We'll report back on those. Overall it was pretty good for what it is. If you're a key lime fan I think you'll really enjoy it. For people like us who take it or leave it, it was still a solid choice and I'm glad we tried it. My wife felt the same way.

I get that most minimum wage workers aren't going to be super happy but maybe pay your employees a little more to retain them and set expectations to deliver a good customer service experience. Most people don't need their arse kissed but hope for a pleasant exchange while paying for their food. Reading the reviews here, it seems like terrible service from employees is an on going issue. Easy parking, decently clean restaurant.

They make delicious cakes and donuts. And the favorite there is the Cuban Sandwich, which is generously filled with ham, shredded pork, pickle, cheese and crusty bread. They also have pastelitos and croquettas. Parking is right in front of the super cute casa restaurant. There is outdoor dining and a few tables inside also. They have a drive-in also. We indulged in the #3 Pepperoni and Hot Honey pizza and the #4 Burrata Pizza, and both were out of this world.
