05/27/2026, my wife went in this store about 7:15 AM to get some bag coffee and milk. Total 5 items. She goes through check out and the girl never speaks, looks at her and at end of transaction, refuses to place items in a bag for take out. My wife ask her, "Is it now the policy of Kroger for customers to bag their on groceries?" The girl replies"Well, there no baggers around this morning". So, my wife does her on bagging. I stopped here to shop for a short list of items, finding all but one thing. This Kroger is in a large shopping center with lots of free spaces available in the large lot. I don't understand why management decided to have employees restock shelves during late morning on Saturday, but that's what happened today while I was shopping. Yes, I understand that it's currently difficult to find/hire employees, and having them do things while they're at work is important, but making an obstacle course of pallets that employees are moving while customers pushing full size shopping carts are trying to avoid running into the pallets is not fun. Obviously, this means that pallets were blocking part of the aisles, all this while Saturday morning shoppers were trying to do their things. Some of the produce wasn't fresh, like the soft cucumbers that were on sale, and many of the sweet onions were rejects since they had soft spots. All of the self service checkouts were open, but the lines at them were moving slow. I opted to go through one of the two regular checkout lines, and the cashier was very quick at getting customers through. Overall, this Kroger is OK. read more

This is specifically about the pharmacy. I gave up on the total incompetence at the pharmacy in the CVS in Dunwoody Village and tried this Kroger pharmacy out. What a massive difference. Prescription was ready in less than 24 hours, it was correct, they were friendly, took my GoodRX coupon with ease, and their prices were better too. BTW the CVS tried telling me that it was against the law to have this with the number of refills the doc wrote it for, but Kroger did it just fine. Obviously not against that law. read more

In need of groceries, and not having time to shop for them, this Kroger location is the closest to us that offers CheckList. CheckList basically allows you to make purchases online or via Kroger app. When you arrive to the Kroger location, there are designated CheckList parking spots that display a telephone number to call once parked. Mr. Larry was extremely helpful when I arrived. I called the number and he came out with the groceries instantly. I hate that we as a civilization are getting lazy to the point that we can't even shop for groceries like we used to, but this is definitely convenient when you don't feel like it. read more

Went into the Dunwoodie store off of Dunwoodie club Drive today. There was only one cashier and all of the self checkout lines were full. I don't know why they can't have more cashiers. It's the reason Publix is doing so well. They have plenty of cashiers read more

Worst place to work, and shop! I worked in the deli for about 3 months, and it was the worst experience of my life. Having a latex/powdered glove allergy, I was treated so poorly by the deli manager Lilja. She refused to order me proper gloves, saying "I will not order gloves specifically for you." and then she proceeded to talk down about me to the assistant manager like I was some loser for being allergic to things. Also that department loves to leave cold stock (I.e hummus, dips, cheese) sit out for 45+ mins before they decide to put anything away. Slicers do not lock in place and were dangerous and were impossible to clean as they did not supply any cleaning equipment, mold was all in the deli case, dirty dishes being used to store freshly cooked food. I could go on and on. Outdated items will sit out on the floor for weeks at a time before management would decide to pull them. All of the management there would rather socialize than work and help you out when it gets busy. Even store manager just didn't care. Worst place to go to, would rather shop at Publix or Whole Foods. **Also you need a doctor's note to drink water at Kroger. Can only drink when you go on break, but management can sit up in their office and drink whatever they want** read more

2090 Dunwoody Club Drive Dunwoody, GA 30350 To whom it may concern: I am writing to express my displeasure with Kroger. I received atrocious customer service today at your 2090 Dunwoody Club Drive location. "Dominic" the "e-commerce" representative was belittling and unsympathetic to my issues which I will address below. Please be assured I will NEVER patron your store again. Dominic's behavior and embarrassing tone in front of other customers was beyond anything I have experienced in 40 years. To summarize the issue: I ordered via Kroger click-list 160.00 worth of groceries. I elected to accept a third party delivery, Instacart deliver the items between 5-6pm. I received a confirmation, which is attached for your convenience. At 7 pm the groceries had still not arrived. At this point I start checking for a reason why the items had not arrived. Because the money had already cleared my Wells Fargo account for 170.00 I falsely assumed maybe they thought I would be picking up the order so I left to fetch the groceries. Seeking the help of Dominic the "e-commerce" employee on staff i am rudely informed the order was cancelled. I naturally ask follow up questions. "I do not understand how it was cancelled, can you please call Instacart for me and find out if they are en route/what the issue is?" Dominic say's, "no, but you can." At this point I'm becoming livid because I do not have an Instacart phone number, app or any sort of connection to them. It seemed likely that Kroger would need to lead the charge on understanding the issue since they are the ones with the Instacart partnership. While I'm on hold with Instacart (over ten minutes) Dominic continues to huff around me. I explain to him, "look my card has been processed, I will literally show you. Can you please just help me stock the groceries I ordered and call it a day?" He say's "NO." Kroger has taken 170.00 out of my account and given me ZERO in return. I finally got the guy from Instacart on the phone who sent me back to a Kroger phone tree where they investigated on their end and said they have no record of the transaction. So I ask again, how am I supposed to get "credited" 170.00 for a transaction you are plainly stating you cannot see. That does not make sense. But on my Wells Fargo account it clearly matches the initial order? Screen shots attached for your convenience. I am livid about this experience because it is wrong on so many levels. The first being the customer service. The second being the principle behind expecting a person to just go spend another 170.00 bucks on the groceries and hope for reconciling to come later. This is not okay. I tried to explain to Dominic and the other Kroger associates that this presents a cash flow issue for certain segments of our population which is definitely not okay. I'm appalled that I was not treated with more decency and respect during this event and sincerely hope you do not continue to treat other hardworking citizens this way. Your system is broken and I deserve a real answer as to why my card was charged for no return of goods. Because at this moment it feels like theft. I would like a genuine apology for the treatment me and my daughter received by Dominic and the assurance he will be trained in sensitivity. No one should be treated this way, ever again. This is the worst Kroger! It's one mile from my house and I will go out of my way and pay more money elsewhere to avoid it. The selection is terrible and employees are not helpful. There are usually only 2 lines open with a wait in each. Over the years I have called the manager, left reviews and communicated with the coorporate office and have never seen an improvement. Last night I placed an order for pick up. This morning when I arrived the women told me that all of the orders had been canceled yet no notification was sent. I know we are in the middle of a pandemic but she could have offered an apology. I would be completely understanding if this was the first complaint but it's just one of the many times this Kroger has disappointed me. read more

I went into the Kroger on 2090 Dunwoody Club Dr this morning to pick up shredded rotisserie chicken. The shelf did not have any (which is typical) so I asked the associate in the deli section if they had any. When I said hello she acted like I was annoying her and then told me she could not look for my item because she had a shipment to unload. Doesn't the customer come first? If this Kroger was not so convenient I would not ever go there. Shelves are always semi stocked. read more

The store has turned into a disaster in the last six months. Items are missing , shelves are messy, and the produce is not restocked. Management has blamed the closing of nearby Sprouts (they didn't know how it would affect stocking the store; new management; problems getting employees; and bad weather. The store was empty the other day and the manager was embarrassed. They also have doubled the number of self service lines and reduced the other check out lines. Many parking spaces near the store are designated specially for those who have ordered their food online and are picking it up. These spots aren't used because who would do this if they knew the store would not have half the items? Plus it has made things difficult for older shoppers and for people in a hurry. People in the aisles talk to each other about how bad the store has become. I have left messages at the southeast area regional office and have not received an answer. This is the closest store to me and I've shopped there for 15 years. read more

I feel like I found a hidden gem when I found this Kroger. It's not far from where we live and is in a really beautiful part of metro Atlanta. As anyone that has shopped at any grocery chain knows, not all stores are created equal, even within the same company. Just to give you an example of how much of a difference this makes with a lot of people....we drive past another Kroger and a Publix to go to this particular Kroger. That's what sets this Kroger apart, it has a very upscale kind of look to it and an awesome selection of fruits and vegetables, as well as a nice selection of organic/natural food (for a large grocery store chain). I wasn't too sure about the prices since this in a more upscale area, however; the wife gave it her seal of approval when she went in there. We always find a lot of beef and chicken on sale in this particular Kroger. I've noticed that on certain days you are more likely to find it than others but I'm not giving out that information:) This is our default Kroger from now on, we do go to others closer to home if we are in a hurry. read more

I just moved to Dunwoody. This Kroger is conveniently located on my way home from work, but I will not be using it. Instead, I will be visiting Publix, which is slightly out of my way. I've been to this Kroger three times since moving to the area. Each time, I received the surliest service from the cashiers. I assure you, I was not hassling them in any way. I wasn't rude, I wasn't in the "twelve items or less" lane with 50 items... I was just shopping. Apparently they only hire people with attitude problems. I will not be returning. read more

OK, that's it. I've been shopping here for 30 years and they have hit an all time low. Forget about the reduction is useful sky's, or the less than great service...the thing that got me was going on Sunday afternoon, you know when just about everybody shops for the week, and they have three checkers, all with long lines. They've reduced the checker lanes to a minimum in favor of self serve. After working about 15 minutes trying to process every produce item I had, I finally told the helper person to please give it a try. She had similar problems with some of the item labels. I stopped and saw the manager and he was like a deer caught in the headlights. Basically said he was sorry and he'd try to improve. I mentioned that this is not new and thus far, there has been no improvement. Overall the local Publix is much better, with happy people and great help. My girlfriend and I frequent Kroger because it is a quality grocery store, and our bank is inside. On Friday, we went in to pick up a case of beer and headed for the self checkout. The woman who was working the self checkout took my girlfriend's ID, and instead of checking her ID for her birthdate and the markings that indicate it's a real ID, she asked for her to recite every single thing, including her ID number, and then proceeded to tell her she was too young. We are both 23, I'm a month older than her, and I even pulled out my ID to show we have the same exact ID and she yelled at us that we had to leave and refused to even look at my ID. I've never encountered being interrogated like that and I've bought alcohol at Kroger many times before. When we asked if she would clear the transaction to let us pay for our other item, she made us go to another register and then yelled at another customer asking for her help. It was an outrageous experience after an already very long Friday night. read more

This is my normal Krogers been shopping here for decades. Recently there has been a change in staff and the new customer service manager is definitely lacking in customer service skills! I went in to make a return (without my receipt) and he actually a accused me buying something from another store and then trying return it at Kroger. Once I punched in my Kroger plus number he was able to see that I recently had indeed purchased the items at Krogers. He offered no apology for basically accusing me of stealing. I'm not accustomed to being treated like a criminal when doing a simple transaction. I have no desire to become accustomed to that type of treatment either!! I'll be shopping over at the Georgetown Krogers from now on or at Publix where paying customers are appreciated. read more

I have shopped at this Kroger store for approximately 15 years. I have gotten to know most of the employees and also the management. Joanna Pak, Manager of the Seafood Department, and George and David in the Meat Department are wonderful. I have always received excellent service in both these departments and the friendliness and help from these employees makes shopping at this Kroger a fantastic experience. Also, Lelia in the Deli is wonderful. These employees make customers like myself feel welcome and appreciated. The service at this Kroger is far superior to other grocery stores. read more

This is my regular Kroger and i have always had friendly service here. They hire people with developmental disabilities for baggers so you have to be a bit patient with some of them, but I have to give kudos to Kroger for doing this. It is admirable. It is an older Kroger so it is a little small, but it has been updated. I think if you use the Kroger Plus card, the prices are better than Publix. read more

This Kroger is a dump, looks like a bomb went off every time I go in, and for no reason; hasn't been a storm, no power outages, just an everyday dump where shelves are empty, scattered, you can't find anything often because the shelves aren't stocked. And the interior itself, looks like they walled up a parking lot and called it a grocery store. They've also created 10 self-checkout lines, and never have more than two regular lines open, while employees who used to do that help people who can't self-checkout because nothing rings up accurately if at all. This part of town deserves better, and I wish a company that recognizes there's a profit in operating a quality store would buy this place, cause this company no longer does. Kroger is more concerned with destroying competition than serving loyal customers. PS - I've been a loyal shopper here for 20 plus years, but not another dime. Literally every neighbor I know has migrated to a not closer Publix and now I get it. And double PS - looking over these recent 5-star reviews of this Kroger, I would bet $20 they are planted reviews by a once quality store that has declined past the point of no return, because nothing in these 5-star reviews rings true to me as a regular long-time customer. 5 years ago maybe. read more

This store has a strange vibe. Been there many times but stopped shopping after my credit card kept getting declined for some odd reason. The atmosphere is depressing. The customers seem really unhappy with life in general. The employee's are not friendly at all. It's hard to tell if they are miserable that they work in this store built on Indian burial grounds or they think they are better than their customers for some nonsensical reason. Every time I leave that place I tell my wife there is something off in there. She agrees and feels the same way. I had visitors in town one weekend and we went shopping there for dinner. One of my guests made a comment as we exited the place...this is the most depressing grocery store I have ever been in.... read more
