THE PERFECT "GO TO" OPTION!…read more Finding lunch in Cumming is always a challenge because there just isn't enough variety. After driving around for a while, I decide that we should just find an Ingles. They have a cute eat-in cafe and I knew that I could get a warm bowl of soup on this cold and rainy day. We find this convenient store just minutes East of 400 and go in for lunch. I decide to get a couple of chicken wings and a bowl of chicken and noodle soup. My husband decides on a salad and two chicken strips. My soup was a very generous serving of chicken with pasta noodles. It was hot, hearty and delicious. The full size chicken wings were perfect. My husband's salad appeared to be super fresh and his chicken strips were very nice, not greasy or salty, just fresh. For dessert we decided on the always fresh and delicious donuts. They were so good that we purchased a box to go for the family. No matter what time they are purchased, they are always fresh. We really enjoyed our very casual lunch and Ingles will always be an option for a quick and easy lunch on the go. ***In addition to their hot food bar, you can always get a custom made sandwich with Boar's Head cheese. The soup and salad bar is a favorite while the bakery never disappoints! ***You can pay for your lunch right in the deli department where the employees are super nice and helpful. ***They always have bottled beverages and water chilling on ice next to the salad bar. I love this courtesy!

I'm shocked these are even out on the floor let alone being PUT into an order for someone. We have also seen that almost every single time an item is marked "unavailable" it's not. We go into the store directly after being told the item isn't available and lo and behold. There it is. today was the last straw. we got a broken shopping bag stuffed with about 20+ items (cans, dog food, soap, ant killer, mop cleaner) but then had bags with SINGLE items in them like mozzarella or dog treats. then we got a completely MOLDED red onion. someone had to pick that up, looked at it and saw the mold and still decided to put it in?? ALSO everytime we get bread it's smashed because people bag them with cans or heavy items. im really wondering if you guys have actual people working this Kroger cart cause there is no way someone actually messes up this much on a regular basis or lacks this much common sense. you guys have a standard you have to uphold you are in the food industry. act like it.

I've been in the store more times than I can remember and raised my son on some of Ester's Publix Apron recipes. It has been a good relationship until October 2, 2025 when one of the store managers, Mark forgot the basic principle for Publix. The Publix Promise is rooted in the company's commitment to customer satisfaction and transparency. FAILED Immediate Resolution: Pricing mistakes are resolved on the spot, eliminating the need for customers to return to customer service for corrections. FAILED (Check the tape and see exactly how long I waited and how long it took for Mark to come and dismiss me) Customer Empowerment: Cashiers are trained to handle pricing discrepancies efficiently, ensuring that customers feel valued and respected. FAILED (Mark missed a training opportunity) The cashier, whose name I withhold out of respect for age and lack of experience, was not the one who devalued me and disrespected me; that was all on the manager Mark. I can only assume that he felt the cashier told him everything he needed to know, thus dismissing me as an interruption to his day. Sadly, he hasn't a clue. We're all entitled to a bad day, so I'm hoping it's just that and not a sign of things to come at my neighborhood Publix. I was there before Mark came and will probably be there when he leaves. If today is any indication of things to come...it won't be long. I was intentionally vague because I'm convinced Mark is still clueless as to exactly what happened. I know this for a fact because I was actually trying to help. Please spare me any copy-and-paste or prearranged apologies and explanations. You can also keep your store credit or gift card. This wasn't a money grab, simply a paying customer offering feedback as a gift so that Publix can get back on track. I waited at least 15 minutes for Mark to leave me shaken and disturbed. It could have been handled so much better. If this is Mark's persona, and Mark is the standard for customer service at Publix - God help us all! Overview of the Publix Promise The Publix Promise is a customer satisfaction policy that ensures fair pricing at checkout. Specifically, if a customer finds that the scanned price of an item (excluding alcohol and tobacco products) is higher than the advertised or shelf price, Publix will provide the following benefits: One Free Item: The customer will receive one of those items free of charge. Discount on Additional Items: Any additional quantities of that item will be charged at the lower shelf price. 2 2 Sources Purpose and Benefits The Publix Promise is rooted in the company's commitment to customer satisfaction and transparency. It aims to build trust with shoppers by promptly addressing pricing errors at checkout, thereby enhancing the overall shopping experience. Key benefits include: Immediate Resolution: Pricing mistakes are resolved on the spot, eliminating the need for customers to return to customer service for corrections. Customer Empowerment: Cashiers are trained to handle pricing discrepancies efficiently, ensuring that customers feel valued and respected.
