What's not to love about Krispy Kreme? It is a long-established brand and their donuts are definitely a great option when you are craving something sweet. Krispy Kreme got its start back on July 13, 1937 in Charlotte, North Carolina and has since grown into a global empire with over one thousand four hundred locations. That in itself is quite the success story, but it is even more impressive that they still have a quality product. This particular Krispy Kreme location is in Gainesville, Florida and I am confident that a good percentage of their customer base is either the students or faculty of the University of Florida, also known as UF. The staff here was friendly and professional and only enhanced my overall experience at this particular location of Krispy Kreme. The place has a cool enough ambiance, pretty much what you wouod expect from a Krispy Kreme. I would definitely recommend this particular location of Krispy Kreme.

Salutations. I visited the Gainesville 13th Street Krispy Kreme Doughnuts on February 21st at approximately 10:00pm. They were out of the custard AND kreme filled doughnuts. WHAT!!! WHAT!!!!!! WHAT!!!!!! DISGRACE. I took 4 Advanced Engineering exams today and crashed my car into a ditch trying not to hit a raccoon on the way to my exams and all I could think about was the perfect sweet goodness of a chocolate frosted frosting-filled Krispy Kreme doughnut. And imagine my surprise and despair when I arrive and all they have are regular kind, sprinkle kind, popcorn, and blue raspberry??? Brotha???? I am not mad, I'm just disappointed. And imagine my further shock when I am confronted with a 16.99 bill for a DOZEN doughnuts!!! What is wrong with this country??? Boe Jiden you owe me 7.99.

Everybody loves krispy kreme!!! This location is an icon within the city of Gainesville. Nestled among towering new apartment buildings and the University of florida. Whether you're here for a college game or just passing through. This is a must stop when you're in gainesville. When hot and fresh sign comes on, people flock to get their donuts. I'm not sure how they do it, but they keep the line moving in here. The assembly line making of the donuts in the back , you can see through the windows and the people taking the orders or making the coffee up front ,work diligently to get people in and out.

Elf doughnuts in reality when they don't have all the parts

Located just outside the UF campus behind The Standard, this Krispy Kreme is usually a good chance to find the hot and now sign lit and ready. Wanted to get some of the Elf advertised doughnuts before the holidays ran out, but I guess the elements to the doughnuts ran out before my trip. They did the best they could with what they had, but it definitely didn't have that Elf feel as advertised.

I've been going to this place honestly for over 40 years. I love that they've kept the original building and everything as the city has changed around it. One of the few old mainstays in this part of town. I really like high end pastries and coffee, but the world will always need a straightforward coffee and doughnut shop. Never change!

Sometimes my fake tan can look a bit Krispy and can require Kreme, but never as Krispy and Kremey as the donuts here. Way down in Gainesville Florida you'll find this great college area donut shop which can give you a lot of delight, especially if you're a college student looking for some crazy sweet snacks, and I have to admit they're pretty amazing when they're hot. This location is great for that because they're often hot here. You can often find them hot in the middle of the night here which is more than you can say for a lot of the Krispy Kreme locations.

The red light was on! How can we not stop? It is almost a crime not to stop. As we walk in, there are many customers with their eyes almost as glazed as the donuts while trying to pick their favorite. My husband gets a selection of filled, drizzled, decorated and chocolate covered. My son gets the sprinkled and I get the original glazed. I go for the minis to try to justify the calories but who am I kidding? I plan to eat one when I get home with a cup of coffee but the smell in the car is too much to take and I grab one. Just one. It melts in my mouth like cotton candy. It is sweet, yeasty and delectably delicious. YUM.

Where else do you find a bit of nostalgia other than in an old fashion donut shop! We that will be only at an original Krispy Kreme! Where you know they are always fresh donuts when their neon light is flashing. A last night treat when you need that sugar or caffeine fix. Remember, this place is old so don't expect updates or spotless establishments but the sugar glazed donut is why you are here. Image a freshly sugar glazed donuts that just came from the gooey melted sugar conveyor belt. It is decadent. Piping hot, sticky and melts in your mouth. You got to be a fan of the "donut shop" to appreciate its appeal to this new and upcoming side of Gainesville. Cheers

Krispy Kreme is always better when the hot sign is on. To be honest, it's still good when it's not but if given the choice, I would risk sticky fingers and a warm donut over a stale one. I'm a classic is best person. Today I went for the deal. My hubs can't do chocolate so my Halloween dozen was just spooky iced. I think there's plenty of better donuts out there (Shout out to Halo Donuts for the best local donut around) but KK is still better than Dunkins frozen garbage any day of the week!

My boyfriend and I went to our local Krispy Kreme to get a late night snack. Our experience there was extremely inappropriate and unwarranted. My boyfriend was being friendly with the lady at the register and wishing her to have a good shift despite it being busy. The entire time the lady looked under the influence and barely talked to us. we wouldn't have thought much of it but when we were leaving we got yelled at and accused of stealing milks?! They said they have cameras and to return the milk. We emptied our pockets and showed we did not steal the milk . They humiliated us in front of a full crowd of people, without any justification. they did not apologize for their actions and were extremely unprofessional. I don't feel comfortable going to this location.

Fresh, moist, and scrumptious donuts right next door. That's how i like it!! We had a chocolate iced cake donut; this was so good. Sweet and tasted exactly like a cake shaped like a donut. The Oreo one; was extremely good. With crumbled Oreos on top and the inside filling of the Oreo inside. To die for. I thought the Oreo one will be my favorite but then we had their original glazed ones and these are the Best! So moist, soft, and delicious. They were the perfect choice for our breakfast and they were great with my French vanilla coffee. Service was quick and efficient. This place has inside and outside seating area.

They also have outdoor seating on the patio out front. Concord Coffee offers a nice selection of drinks with unique syrups, etc. Although I didn't order coffee this time, I would be willing to try it in the future! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Their pastry case is limited and I believe they get their baked goods from somewhere local. I wasn't sure what to get and the worker recommended any of their pastries, as opposed to their bagels, as they were delivered fresh today. I ended up ordering the cinnamon roll, she heated it up and that took about 5 minutes. The cinnamon roll itself wasn't anything super special. The dough reminded me more of that of a croissant due to its flakier consistency. The glaze on top was light and the cinnamon inside was underwhelming. I still didn't have a problem with it until I reached the center. I noticed the center wasn't fully heated up and even felt slightly cold. But my biggest issue was the fact that the dough in the center was very much raw. It was not cooked/baked through at all. Disappointing to say the least. I would not return for a pastry or baked good, as I believe you can find better ones around the area for a better price. But I would return to try the coffee. Overall, I think Concord Coffee is a super cute coffee shop located in midtown. The staff is really sweet and helpful as well. I thought the inside was clean and I appreciated the decor. With that that being said, I would stick to beverages as opposed to their food items. My cinnamon roll was anything but special, I feel like one from Publix would have left me more satisfied. By biggest issue was definitely the fact that it wasn't baked through and raw in the center. I will get around to trying their coffee at some point in the future.

The coffee is decent but not spectacular, though they have a long list of specialty drinks to appeal to a variety of tastes. There aren't any pour over options, if you aren't getting an espresso drink you're getting coffee from an urn. The beans do seem well sourced, the brewing doesn't seem like it's getting the best out of them.
