Available Cookie" board

Went to Brother Cookie for the first time and walked out with exactly what I came for: a giant, fresh baked, soft, classic chocolate chip cookie. I love Dessert but a chocolate chip cookie is my favorite choice. Quaint location, Quick and easy. "Available Cookie" board is the charm. Updated with ol' school markers and a human hand. Was it the most memorable cookie? Was it amazing? I would go again for a second time soon.

Great cookies and great service. This is an awesome little spot with kid friendly amenities.

Giant Chocolate Chunk & Roasted Walnut Cookie

Like Cookies?? Well this is the place for you. Stop by and try their delicious variety of regular size and giant cookies located in the Gainesville area. This bakery shop and options for dine in or to-go, and the environment is always kept clean. These cookies are fresh made to order and you don't be disappointed. Today I purchase the chocolate chip walnut cookies and it was heavenly. Myself and I also have tried their Carrot cookie, s'mores, butter cookies, double chocolate and other tasty choices prior to this review and we have not been disappointed yet. Give it a try, they have options to buy 1 or a 6pack. Try some for yourself and your family. Let me know what you think, Enjoy!!

I loved this place, their cookies are soft, chewy, and big even if you get the smaller size. My friend and I shared 2 cookies, but then after we noticed that you can buy day old cookies for $1, so we got 2 more. The day old cookies were still good, definitely just a little colder but i did not mind. Flavors i recommend: chocolate chip ofc, toasted walnut, pumpkin spice, browned butter. their prices are super reasonable and the building is also really cute inside! The cashier was really nice and recommended flavors to us and discussed pricing

Huge cookies! I wished mine was piping hot like husbands but nevertheless it was yummy, chocolatey and a good cookie! Service was fast! It was nice trying something different in the area as we tend to go to the same places all the time! Def would come back again!

I recently saw some social media posts on Brother Cookie so I needed to try them out. I liked them, but they are a bit over priced and the flavors were just not for me. We looked this place up on Yelp and the directions listed on Yelp were wrong, but sometime this is not the businesses fault. We arrived at the business and took a look at the menu. The cookies are $3.75 each for the giant cookies. Are these cookies big? Yes, but are they worth $3.75, no because its not just $3.75 its $3.75+ tax so the cookie is more like $4.05+, so that's a pretty expensive cookie. We wanted to try a lot of cookies to see which ones were our favorites so we ordered 6 and you can get 6 cookies for $20 plus tax. We ended up getting one Browned Butter, One Carrot Cake, One S'Mores, One Rosemary Fig, One Lemon White Chocolate, and one Chocolate Cheery Amaretto. Of all the flavors we got, the only one I actually enjoyed was the Browned Butter. I wish this place had more traditional flavors like Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle, or M&M cookies, but they don't. They just have these other flavors that are not too appetizing. Even the Carrot Cake was not very good, I did not like the icing they put on top of it. I noticed this place does have milk you can buy. They also have 2 beer taps and a cold brew tap as well. They have a nice indoor area where you can sit and enjoy your cookies. A couple nice things, they do sell day old cookies for a cheaper price. If you want to buy the mini cookies you do have to buy a minimum of 6 or they won't see you a mini cookie. Overall this place is just okay. I wouldn't rush back to get these cookies again, but they were just okay.

So far I've tried the browned butter, s'mores, and chocolate walnut. I did not enjoy either of the first 2 listed. I did not care for the taste of the browned butter and the s'mores was just bland and dry, I was expecting it to be gooey on the inside but it was not. The chocolate walnut however was amazing. For anyone that's tried the famous Levain bakery cookies in NYC, these are pretty equivalent. The dough is so soft and the inside is a perfect warm chocolately center. The only part slightly different from Levain is that there is a bit too much walnut in the cookie. The walnut pieces are quite large, I would prefer if they were chopped up in more finely cut pieces. I would not recommend either the browned butter or the s'mores, but the chocolate walnut is a MUST try. Best individual cookie in town by far.

Brother Cookie's chocolate walnut cookie is one of the best desserts in Gainesville, in my opinion.

Fresh, flavorful, and totally worth it. They also have really fun merch -- cute t-shirts and hats that actually make you want to rep the place. Love a café with personality and good swag! Overall, I really enjoyed my time there. Relaxed vibe, quality coffee, and delicious bread -- I'll absolutely be back.

I cannot wait to go back up and purchase sourdough again! I am very particular about my sourdough bread and this one you can taste the sour. Fresh market is the only other place that I can taste the sour in the sourdough bread. They offer pastries as well and different coffees. In the same plaza, they have a fish market that has great fish dip that went perfectly with the sourdough. The service was great and friendly. There is a raised area on the floor where if you're not looking, you can trip easily. I recommended that they put a bright orange piece of tape on it to get people's eye to notice there's a ledge. The ambience of the place feels like a bakery with all the different selections that you would see in France. If you are in the area go check it out! Enjoy!

I went with a lingonberry custard pastry (I forgot what the actual name was) and it was absolutely delicious! The tart lingonberries, creamy custard, flaky pastry, and sweet glaze all complemented each other so well. I do wish there was a lot more filling and that it was more evenly distributed, as I only got a few bites with the filling and the rest were just plain pastry with glaze (still yummy though). The service was very quick and the people behind the counter were helpful and friendly.

The lady at the front was so kind and welcoming, even though it was clear they'd had a rush (it was Easter weekend, so totally understandable that people came early and stocked up!). Everything is super reasonably priced, all items are $3, and you can get a half dozen for just $12. That's wild for the quality you're getting! They have an amazing variety: danishes, cookies, pound cakes, and more. We ended up with a vanilla glazed cinnamon bun, lemon pound cake, cinnamon danish crunch, almond cloud cookie, karma cookie, and a pecan pie bar to split with one of my close friends, and every single bite was absolutely delicious. I wish I had known there was a line forming right at 7am. I would've rolled out of bed sooner. Thankfully, they told us you can call ahead and reserve, which we might just do next time because I'm already thinking about going back. I highly recommend the danishes & vanilla cinnamon glaze glazed bun and the pecan pie bar! This place is one of those spots you'll want to visit again and again, just get there early or call ahead to snag the goods!

We went to Vietnam a couple years ago and now anytime she has a chance to get Banh Mi she does. We'd been here before but I think they recently added the Korean sticks to the menu. I always get a #1 without cilantro or mayo. They haven't messed it up yet. Pate is not really an American thing but it's a good combination. There's a dark sauce they put on the sandwich too which is really good. There's are freshly sliced jalapeños so take note if you don't like spicy. They are very thinly sliced so it's not overwhelming but there's a little kick. My wife got a sandwich but also tried one of the Korean sticks. She got the stick without a hotdog. It was basically a block of cheese coated in diced potatoes, kind of like frozen breakfast potatoes you can get at the grocery store. They deep fry it so the cheese is completely melted. I think she's glad she tried it, but I don't think she was impressed. We'll just stick to Banh Mi next time.

It took a while for anyone to greet me to take my order but after I ordered it did come relatively quickly. Not as fast as other banh mi places though. The banh mi itself was probably the worst one I have ever had. The bread tasted refrigerated and was very chewy. It actually took a lot of effort for me to bite and chew it. Definitely not good eats. Ambiance was nice with plenty of seating.
