The peanut butter crinkle cookie never made it out of the parking lot as my wife devoured it...I may have had a small piece to taste it. Not a fan of peanut butter but that cookie was legit. We brought the scone and chausson home to savor with some hot tea. My wife liked her scone but when we unearthed the chausson, it was flattened by the heavy scone placed on top of it by the lady who boxed it up. I wish I had known there was a line forming right at 7am. I would've rolled out of bed sooner. Thankfully, they told us you can call ahead and reserve, which we might just do next time because I'm already thinking about going back. I asked her for her opinion and what items to get and she really didn't provide much help. But other than that, this was a good experience. I ended up getting three items including a Nutella danish, a cheddar-chive scone, and a piece of their pecan bread pudding. All of these items were delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed each one! The pecan bread pudding was great, it wasn't too sweet and the texture was perfect. I just wish it was warm as it was given to me cold. I will say some pastries vary in size, making this price less justifiable. For instance, one of the other bread pudding varieties was about half the size of the one I ordered and priced the same. It was basically a block of cheese coated in diced potatoes, kind of like frozen breakfast potatoes you can get at the grocery store. They deep fry it so the cheese is completely melted.
