The owner is the sweetest person ever, my friends and have been here 3 times this week, best hangout spot ever!!!

My boyfriend loves this place. Ever since Mr Cow closed down in Midpoint Eatery, we've been coming to Mochiry for our korean corndogs. We've tried many many korean corndog places, but to be honest there aren't many good spots in Gainesville. Mochiry does a decent job in korean corndogs, nothing compared to what we've had in S.Korea obviously, but for Gainesville standards it's good! I personally would recommend sticking with the original version (I like half and half), since it stays the crispiest. For some strange reason all the chip coated flavors don't really get crispy, they are pretty soft on the outside after being fried. So definitely recommend sticking with the original if you like a crispy korean corn dog, and sprinkling some sugar on it! Their grapefruit boba tea is very good. Dubai chocolate strawberry cup is yummy but I probably wouldn't get it again as it's a bit pricey.

Never got the hype about Korean Corn Dogs. Hubbs and kiddo were set on trying them. Mochiry did not disappoint and made a believer out of me. You can barely call these corn dogs, because there is nothing but an itty bitty weeny at the base, but the rest is ooey gooey cheese, crunchy crisps, and yummy sauce. The cheese pulls were amazing, and that's even getting delivered so some time had past since they were freshly made. Definitely worth a cheat meal.

I really don't understand the draw of things like flaming hot or how they stay in business. They were out of cheese which is basically half of the ingredients and no one was being informed until after they tried to order. Put a sign on the door and save people time please! The donuts were okay but also really sweet. So I guess maybe that's the model, flavors in extreme. Not my cup of tea.

I thought it was a cute vibe inside the shop! Their donuts were delicious. I took a Star off since the milk tea was watered down and didn't have a lot of flavor. Overall it was slow and service was quick to give me my order.

Half and half hot cheetos fiery fun!

Easy solid fun four for good boba tea with mochi donuts and curious Korean hotdogs. I go nuts for donuts and these were pretty good; thank you Mochiry! Half and half hot Cheeto dog was good eats too. Love that cheese pull! Reasonable too considering what all I've paid for similar such things at festivals and food trucks, ouch! Lord knows, I've done enough boba for a lifetime and wouldn't ever do it on my own ...but when you get a prescription for happiness, you fill it :) Geonbae!!

the place was really good. the donuts were good but would be a lot better if they were heated. The thai tea drink was really good as well. They place also was very clean and chill.

The service was amazing so kind and helpful, gave us free drinks with our food. Me and my bf both got ramen, it was good but could use more seasoning, we also got a Dubai chocolate bar and a strawberry Dubai cup and it was so stinking good omg and lastly I picked up some of My favorite mochi donuts, I love coming here and totally Recommend it to others as I'm a frequent flyer and the place always looks great as well as great service.

I live close by so I go a lot, I recommend the mozzarella korean corn dogs!! there's even a claw machine you can play!!

I really enjoy coming to this place. Service was phenomenal. Ambience is Great For This College Town by having board games, and the food was Incredible Really loved how the people working went above and beyond for customer satisfaction

Was excited to check this place out as there are not too many Asian dessert options to choose from in Gainesville. Other than this place, tiger sugar sells Mochinuts as far as what I know. Comparatively, I think Tiger sugar mochinuts are more chewy and tasty although ones from Mochiry were not too bad. Will come back next time for K-corndogs.

The floors were covered in a sheen of oil/grease. My husband almost slipped twice. Corn dogs were meh. I've definitely had better and worse. I appreciate that they weren't super small.

Mochiry is a nice add to the Newberry location. I have had 2 Korean corn dogs ever at different places and this was my 3rd experience but first at Mochiry! The space is really cute and instagram worthy! I wanted to try the potato donut but they did not have the ingredients. I was there at 7:30 pm on a Friday night. I ended up trying the classic corndog with hot dog and my friend had the classic with half sausage and half cheese. My husband had nacho cheese with sausage. Everyone enjoyed it. There are several sauces you can use to put on your corn dogs. I used the sweet chili sauce which was delicious! We ordered half dozen mochi donuts to try and our favorites were Oreo cookies and cream, caramel churro, and coconut. The service was good as well.

Popeyes fries are still the best fries I've ever tasted. Now regarding the burger.. First of all, I'd like to state I love burgers. Cheddars, Steak n Shake, Flanagans, etc. I always get burgers. After today I have realize what a burger truly is. I don't think the burger I have tasted today has something special to it. I simple believe this is just what a normal. Regular. Simple burger tastes like. For the price of 9.89 I got a Bacon Cheeseburger from Five Guys. I absolutely thing this is overpriced. At most it should be 7 bucks, not 10. Bacon - nothing special Tomatoes - none Ketchup - bomb af Pickles - nothing special Mayo - nothing special Lettuce - nothing special But the meat I do believe is one of the most simple things I've tasted. It's so regular I could buy it at Walmart but for some reason, I do not know why... it feels like it had a great impact. After today I have realized the many burgers I've eaten throughout out my life are not what I thought they were. The five guys burger is not the best burger I've tasted in my life. It's the only burger. I have come to the conclusion that this burger didn't top the list but made a new one. When someone says the word "burger" I instantly think of the overpriced 9.89 bacon cheeseburger from Five Guys.

We had passed this place on the way to the lake and it seemed interesting, so I kept it on my short list of places to check out for lunch on the way back. It turns out it was the perfect fit after what ultimately proved to be a 14-mile trek! The place is located just off the main road and has a quaint feel to it with two dining rooms and a counter. Much like my other recent review, SweetBerries serves your standard lunch fare and also specializes in custard. As such, it served as perfect-pick-me-up on a day where the heat index was at 105F! You order what you'd like at the counter and a server will bring your food when it's ready. The establishment has fountains available for drinks. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout the experience. We got the SweetBerries Sunset custard with fresh fruit to share between the two of us, and wound up being the perfect frozen treat to get us back to the truck. Unlike her, I was also looking for an actual meal, so i chose to order the Chicken Salad on a croissant with mac salad. While the mac salad was simply ok, but flavor of the buttery croissant elevated quality the light and refreshing meal. If you find yourself in Gainesville with time for lunch or sweet treat, give this place a shot!

Their signature…read morechicken salad on toasted sourdough already sounded good, but the way they executed it was on another level. The bread was grilled perfectly, buttery, golden, and exactly the kind of crisp I love. The flavors were unreal. The crispy bacon added that salty, smoky crunch that hits immediately, the muenster cheese brought this smooth, melty richness, and the sweet onion and carrots added the perfect fresh bite. But the real surprise was the honey mustard. I'm a honey mustard lover, but I was honestly skeptical about how much they'd use or whether it would overpower everything. Instead, it was beautifully balanced, but just the right amount of sweetness to bounce off the savory bacon, the creamy chicken salad, and the buttery toast. Every flavor complemented the next, and it all came together in a way that genuinely surprised me. It ended up being one of the most amazing sandwiches I've ever had. I was mesmerized from the first bite to the last. SweetBerries really nailed this one.

The chicken items are questionable in texture and again never really cooked properly. The hamburger meat has changed significantly since I remember it looking more dark and having more of a bite to it and now it looks like school cafeteria meat (the gray lab meat). The texture is a little spongey. The drinks are the only thing I seem to come for with the occasional chicken slider but I don't seem to enjoy it as much.
