Cold stone is what it is. The ice cream is pretty good but kind of overpriced. The service is just okay, but not bad by any means. It is an okay choice when it is close by but I certainly would not go out of my way to get ice cream there. It is a decent sized serving which is nice for how pricy it can be. This used to be our go-to spot for a sweet treat, but rising prices and employees who aren't properly trained have ruined the experience. If a basic milkshake can't be made correctly, that's a management problem. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time we've paid $20 for very thin shakes. Went there today and was virtually ignored by the 2 young women working there. I had to say hello for them to even make eye contact with me. I had to wait at least 10 mins before I was given any service! Other people walked in and one of the workers told them she'd be right with them. My husband and I were NOT happy and gave each other a very puzzled look, but I wanted ice cream and he was treating me. I never had any problem when I would go to Cold Stone before. I really fell in love when I tried one of the signature flavors that includes cake batter ice cream, brownies, sprinkles, and fudge. I put my own spin on it, and instead of getting the signature flavor, I now get cake batter ice cream with cookie dough mixed in and sprinkles. It is to DIE for. Cold Stone will let you try a lot of flavors before you pick, so I always try a few, even though I typically still go with my favorite. Price: The price is high. You have to be willing to pay for that amazing taste. I always get the smallest option which is a "like it" for $4.49. You can get one mix in for free. Each additional topping mixed in is $.99. Service: I've had a mixture of service at this particular location. I've come in when it's been busy and slow, and I've had some super friendly interactions with employees, and some interactions where I felt like a bother for even being there. It's hit or miss here. With so many ice cream shops around, I often forget about this one. Nonetheless, Cold Stone does provide decent ice cream, but at a high price. If you're planning on coming here, I would check for coupons online or on gift certificate apps. I came here on their free ice cream day, and the employees did very well with managing the continuously growing line. However, the employees were visibly upset when customers took too long to order, or asked to sample various flavors. Some of the tables were dirty with ice cream stains, while some were broken and would not stay balanced. I usually go to Sweet Dreams for ice cream, but it was my birthday and I hate a BOGO coupon, so I went to get the only thing I ever get here: the birthday cake remix. We always have to stop at Cold Stone to get us a good, filling dessert after a nice meal at a neighboring restaurant. Don't let their sizes fool you. They have "Like It", "Love It", and "Gotta Have It". I always get the "Like It" size in a waffle bowl and it is more than enough ice cream. My favorite mix is Cake Batter ice cream (you have to try this ice cream) with Butterfingers and Gummy Bears. The ice cream artist are always friendly and if you throw a tip in their jar, they will sing you a happy little jingle. Good tip: be sure to have water on hand or buy a water there. The ice cream is so rich it actually becomes taxing to eat. There is nothing more refreshing than a sip of ice cold water in between bites of some of the best ice cream fixings you can buy. There are also more treats than ice cream with fixings. They have hot brownies with ice cream, hot churros with ice cream, etc. They can basically make anything you're craving. Keep it light though, the more stuff you put in it will make your treat too sweet, rendering it unenjoyable to eat. We have never had a bad experience and we always go back. read more

I walked in around 6:40 pm yesterday. I go a few times here and there and usually they have fast service. Yesterday, however, there was only one man working. I had an event at 7 so I was really hoping I would get my icecream at least by 6:55 since I was 4th in line. Uber eats and other pick up orders walked in that I didn't have enough time to get mine. I had to leave basically when it was my turn empty-handed because if not I'd be late to the event. I asked for the worker's name, Juan, honestly I felt he was doing a great job for being the only one working. He was whipping up all the icecreams with no hesitation so props to him. Overall, a huge shout out to him for working hard and I hope that workers aren't put to work alone. Especially on the weekends when most people are not in work or school and have free time to get ice cream. read more

I have yet to write a truly negative review but this simply must be shared. I have not been to a Coldstone Creamery in over three years and I most likely will not be returning again. Although the icecream was tasty and not runny like it usually is, what happened on my last visit will keep me from going back. I'm not a germaphobe, but I do want and need to see workers using proper food handling techniques when I go out. Upon realizing my ice cream portion was too large (probably three tablespoons worth) and after the ice cream had already been on the mixing table with my two toppings added, the worker picked out some of the ice cream and put it back on top of the ice cream in the display case. I know the mixing table gets wiped down often but this is still an inexcusable mistake in my eye. Someone could have a gluten or nut allergy, both of which were ingredients in my toppings. Not to mention the extra three tablespoons of ice cream really isn't worth contaminating the 2 or 3 gallon bucket of ice cream, but it must be said. I'm sure the worker did not even realize this mistake; as they were most likely never taught not to do this, and truly thought they were saving the company money but it's not the kind of mistake I can easily over look. The worker forgetting to add one of the toppings I asked for is understandable and I nicely asked if the worker could just put that on-top of my cup. No foul there. I've worked in the food industry for several years so I understand little mistakes but putting food back is just not acceptable. The simple act of putting ice cream back just makes one wonder what else might be contaminated and brings to question the cleanliness of the entire establishment. I do think the owner should review food handling and sanitation rules with staff just to prevent mistakes like this. I'm giving the establishment three stars because the ice cream was good, much better than my past experiences at Coldstones. All the flavors I sampled were delicious and good consistency. Everyone else in my group was pleased with their ice creams as well. read more
