Not a bad milkshake, but definitely not the size I was expecting when paying over 10 dollars for a "giant" large milkshake.

The biscuits that they make are amazing and as far as every pastry I've tried so far I have thoroughly enjoyed every single one of them including the raspberry almond croissant and I don't even like raspberries so that says a lot! The service is great in the mornings but the last time I went in the afternoon I wasn't a fan of the attitude some of the workers had so I'm definitely sticking to mornings. (I chose not to tip because of how they greeted me and unfortunately this was the time the food was bad so I was very upset) Over all I love this place. I am all about an honest review. I love the decor and over all vibe of the place. I hope that one day they're able to expand a bit and have comfier seating so that people could stay longer and enjoy the atmosphere as well as continue to purchase more of their products!

On my most recent visits, I've tried a Hummingbird Cake, S'mores Bar, and their ice cream. The service is attentive here and everyone is extremely friendly. I love the atmosphere and it is a perfect spot for studying too. Another thing I am impressed with besides the quality of the food, is the variety. Each time I go in there, they have new, unique items in their bakery case. The flavor combinations are unique and executed well too. It is honestly hard to just choose one item! The Hummingbird Cake was good, a little dry, but it had good flavor. A traditional hummingbird cake has more of a citrus and pineapple element to it--which this particular cake was missing. I would call this more of a nut or walnut spice cake. The s'mores also had good flavor, but the consistency wasn't my favorite. The base/brownie and marshmallows were very dry. Combined with graham crackers, it was lacking a lot of moisture. I tried the ice cream for the first time as well and thought this was great! The texture of the ice cream is different from full-dairy ice cream for sure. But I was very impressed with the flavor selection and overall taste. I tried the raspberry-chip which had a very natural, organic raspberry taste and wasn't artificial at all. I also tried a magic bar flavor which included cookies, nuts, and coconut. I liked this as well, the cookies again were kinda dry and I feel like there could have been less toppings inside the ice cream. Overall, I am still shocked that everything from here is vegan because I would have never expected vegan baked goods to taste this good. While the textures of things are definitely different--the overall flavor is pretty good. The prices are higher compared to other bakeries, but that should be expected as they serve items catered towards certain dietary restrictions. Their ice cream is worth a try and I will most likely return for that.

They're truly the best I've ever had, and the wait for them, no matter how long it takes, is always worth it. My friends have tried their arepas as well, and I can say without a doubt this restaurant is incapable of making bad food. The front of house worker/(not sure if he's the owner but maybe owner) is an incredibly kind and sociable man. He always greets me warmly anytime he sees me, and it's always such a pleasure to interact with him. There's plenty of tables to sit, and an easy and approachable order-counter. If you're going (which you should be), I highly recommend the ground beef empanada with their garlic aioli sauce and spicy chili paste. I've never had any of their desserts, but they look amazing too! Love this place. So much. If you're going, please get me an empanada. 10/10, top tier in Gainesville.

They make food from their homeland which is made using family recipes. But I was there to try their ice cream since it used to be an ice cream place. I also wanted to try their crepes. So the obvious choice is an ice cream crepe with banana, strawberry, and a ton of ice cream. It was cooked fresh in front of me (thankfully not one of those cook ahead and reheat places) The crepe was enjoyable but average and a little too crispy. The ice cream was disappointing, average ice cream regional supplier, definitely not home made. I may go back and give the crepes one more try, ice cream nope. Also curious about the rest of the menu.

I've only ever seen two different people working there, but they're both nice and the service time is quick. I usually get a large, classic milk tea with the black boba. Their boba is the perfect texture and I feel like it's hard to find tapioca that isn't super hard and strange. My partner gets the mango mochi, which they like a lot. I've also tried the mochi and I thought it was decent. My partner also likes the ice cream - I also think it's decent. It's pretty creamy and you get two large scoops for a good price. Overall, pretty good place. The inside is pretty big and there is lots of seating. The ambiance is chill. I usually go around 7pm or later and it isn't too busy. Will be returning!

I settled on some boba tea instead and had oolong but unfortunately they were out of boba balls so I had it without. They added a replacement for the boba balls which was a little off and like a jelly texture . Almost like aloe Vera texture . I still loved their boba tea flavor which I got brown sugar. We also tried 2 mochi. The mochi had a great flavor but the texture was too hard for me. We had the strawberry and coconut mochi but they had other amazing flavors like habanero coffee, expresó , lychee , passion fruit etc. I appreciate that they had so many unique flavors you don't see often. I am not sure if the macaroons are fresh or who makes them but they also had a variety of interesting flavors . Would definitely come back to try other items and flavors that they offer.

We had passed this place on the way to the lake and it seemed interesting, so I kept it on my short list of places to check out for lunch on the way back. It turns out it was the perfect fit after what ultimately proved to be a 14-mile trek! The place is located just off the main road and has a quaint feel to it with two dining rooms and a counter. Much like my other recent review, SweetBerries serves your standard lunch fare and also specializes in custard. As such, it served as perfect-pick-me-up on a day where the heat index was at 105F! You order what you'd like at the counter and a server will bring your food when it's ready. The establishment has fountains available for drinks. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout the experience. We got the SweetBerries Sunset custard with fresh fruit to share between the two of us, and wound up being the perfect frozen treat to get us back to the truck. Unlike her, I was also looking for an actual meal, so i chose to order the Chicken Salad on a croissant with mac salad. While the mac salad was simply ok, but flavor of the buttery croissant elevated quality the light and refreshing meal. If you find yourself in Gainesville with time for lunch or sweet treat, give this place a shot!

They do have an outside seating area but it leaves a lot to be desired, it would remind you of an outdoor petting zoo. The parking lot is very tight, it is small.

We almost drove away when we saw the long line that reached the parking lot but decided to stick it out and give it a try. Figured if the locals are willing to wait in line, it must be good! This is a pick up only window with tables outside for customers to enjoy their treats but there is no indoor seating. The walk up counter had two windows and both were staffed with friendly cashiers. The line moved quickly but with enough time for us to figure out the ordering system and to sort through the many options available from the menu board posted on the sidewalk. There are at least 5 sizes (that I can remember) to choose from and thankfully I was sharing a medium otherwise it would have been too much for one person and I only did two steps out of the 3. I chose to create my own and selected the coconut Italian ice with the Chocolate Gelati in a medium cup. The rest of the family ordered from the Frog Squad Favorites list, which are creations designed to remind you of other favorite sweet treats. One ordered a small Frosted Animal Cracker and one ordered a small S'More. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their selections. We had fun sitting outside and the entire time while we ate our Italian ice , there was always a line of customers. We quickly understood why this is such a hit amongst the Gainesville community!
