    Strawberry cheesecake rolled ice cream

If you're craving a something sweet after lunch or dinner, this is your place! The rolled ice cream hits different with your own toppings, including popular Asian snack toppings such as pocky. Really enjoyed my dessert here!!

It's funny that with me being in music, modeling, Bourdaining, and Barbie being in porn, that she went to an Ivy League school and I went to Oxbridge, and yet we're both working in professions that require........ It's not. So that would have been redundant. I honestly thought I was walking into a Zero Degrees, as in that franchise from California that has mangonada and split cups and all that stuff. Well this place is not that place. But this place is much better! They should really only hire females to work here. Then they could be called Zero DeHe's. That would cure all illnesses, too. You walk in riddled with every virus on earth... you walk out with Zero Disease. I'm not sure who had the name first, but it's really cute, because they have rolled ice cream and Boba drinks and their Boba drinks are actually really good. I would give them somewhere between a 4 and a 5, but probably closer to 5, however the wonderful service and attention to detail and extreme friendliness means I have no choice whatsoever but to give them 5 stars and they absolutely deserve it. And they've had customers from every state except for our nation's capital. Crazy right? Thousands from every other state... but Zero DC's! One of my fave Boba shops not just in Gainesville, but in Florida. And Barbie says that she wouldn't have made nearly as much money in her video career if she'd done Zero DP's.

Bangkok Summer with boba, mochi, and oreo crumbs

I'm a sucker for any Thai deserts or Thai tea flavored stuff and this place didn't disappoint. Came here on a weekday and it wasn't too busy. All proper covid precautions were followed and the kind staff can help you build your cup if you're unsure. They have a wide array of flavors and toppings, unmatched to some places i've seen nearby. I got the Bangkok summer with boba, mochi, and oreo crumbs and absolutely loved it. The thai tea flavor was great and delicious like most others i've tried. The toppings were all as you expect. It's rolled ice cream so it's fun to watch them make your ice cream and roll it up! Overall liked this place a lot and a cute spot to get ice cream with anyone, and try their Bangkok summer!!!!

Base: Bangkok Summer (Thai Tea & Lychee) / Toppings: Mochi, Cheesecake Bites, Popping Boba / Sauces: Condensed Milk

Despite a recent upsurge in rolled ice cream shops in Gainesville, Zero Degrees has proven to be the best one. Located in a shopping center along a main intersection (34th & Archer), it is rather convenient to stop by. There is a sufficient number of rolled ice cream flavors, which includes three toppings, and unlimited sauces, such as condensed milk, caramel, etc., all for $5.55. I got the Bangkok Summer, which is a Thai tea with lychee, topped mochi, cheesecake bites, and popping boba, with a condensed milk drizzle. To make it even more aesthetic, they add a cute koala cookie on top. At other rolled ice cream places, the ice cream lacks flavor and is icy, but Zero Degrees does a great job with keeping it creamy and flavorful. Moreover, they are very generous with their toppings, and their unlimited sauce drizzles make it even more worth. They provide some board and card games for customers that lounge around, and the store is relatively clean. The staff takes your order and rolls your ice cream, but doesn't really bother you otherwise. There's also cute mural to take pictures in front of. If you want rolled ice cream, which is currently trendy, go to Zero Degrees. However, there are other normal ice cream places that may be better and more worth your money.

Got a craving for ice cream while in Gainesville? Go to zero degrees, they have a variety of flavors, toppings, and drizzles that you can mismatch and customize to your liking. You can choose the flavor of your ice cream which I chose the Taro and red bean, 3 toppings I did the cheesecake bites, Mochi, and fruity pebbles, and topped it off with the condensed milk drizzle. The staff will make the creation right in front of your eyes and you can have a seat in their spacious ice cream shop. The ice cream is super creamy and with the variety of toppings you can get your taste buds will scream for more and each bite is different.

This is right next to my gym (a test of true self control lol). It's prices are similar to 8 Degrees Fahrenheit. Both places give you 3 free toppings, but this place gives you unlimited sauces for your ice cream. The ice cream is pretty typical; pretty but a tad expensive and not a lot of room for toppings. Keep in mind that you are probably paying for an Instagram photo, rather than tasty ice cream. The parking for this location is tight because a lot of spaces are taken up by gym patrons. However the parking lot is huge so you will find a space, just not close to it. This place also has macarons and crepe cakes. These offerings make this location different from 8F and Mr. Cool. I tried a chocolate macaron and it was.....meh. I'd rather walk a couple of feet to Earth Fare for macarons.

This place honestly isn't anything special, and I don't think I'll be back. The ice cream roller had her hair down right over her workspace which is so unsanitary (I added a picture of this). I kept worrying I was going to find hair in my ice cream, thank god I didn't. Either way there needs to be a policy where the workers wear hairnets or keep their hair tightly secured up so they don't contaminate the food! I got the s'mores ice cream, and I expected the marshmallows to be toasted a big but they were just cold and hard. The graham crackers were also old and didn't taste fresh. The ice cream was honestly just bland, everything about it was kind of boring. The only "cool" part was getting to watch them roll the ice cream. There are far better ice cream places out there that are better quality and have higher health standards to go to.

Definitely not worth over $9 for this

We stumbled upon this place and we will never come back. Never! First of all, the place had such a potent smell as soon as we walked in. It had a strong odor of Jasmin rice or somewhere in Southeast Asia or China, the girl/woman working had no social skills and one simple roll of ice cream with one topping was over $9! It wasn't even big! Rip off and place smells. We didn't feel like business was important to her either.

Dark Knight w Almonds instead of KitKat

Ice cream is good. That's a default. Thus this place was ok but if I want to get critical here's my take. It kind of takes a bit too long to make an ice cream. I was already 3/4 finished w my ice cream when my son barely got his (3rd to order). The ice cream rolls are sooo hard it feels like your going to break the plastic spoon. Ok no big deal I guess but I like my ice cream a tad softer than rock hard. I got the Chocolate Dark Knight (without KitKats) and I was under the impression I was going to taste chocolate sauce and brownie bits but when concocting the ice cream on the frozen slab they dice and mash and pulverize those items combining it into the ice cream so there really are no hunks or resemblance of chocolate sauce when it is served to you. I didn't know that or I would of asked for those items to be put on top of the ice cream rolls. They do give you the option of putting toppings on the rolls but then again, I didn't know I wouldn't be able to discern those items before hand. My other kids ice cream was coffee based (WakeMeUp)& really truely lacked sugar I mean I was thinking the ice cream was reduced sugar type but she liked it after she got used to it and it really was coffee flavored. My son liked his Cookie Minster just fine & rated it a 10/10 so, that's the ice cream default aspect. It's ice cream so it's good but here maybe not as good as it could be.

I hear there was another Thailand ice cream place and was reluctant to try it at first. However, I happened to be in the area and wanted a snack so I ended up here. The ice cream was so good and I think slightly better than 8 degrees. I do want to go back to see if things will be made consistently because at 8 degrees certain items such as toasted marshmallows are not always consistently made. Overall the staff was nice and I loved the atmosphere so much better at 0 degrees. There's seven a wall to take cute IG or Snapchat photos.

The prices are pretty reasonable and he informed his favorite boba was a seasonal one, the hami melon boba tea which sounded good and will try soon! This boba tea was surprisingly not super sweet at all. It was very creamy and delicious. It had a subtle hint of brown sugar and the boba tasted like it soaked up the brown sugar flavoring. There's lots of yummy sweets in the bakery like chiffon cake, cheesecake, basque cheesecake, cream puffs, burst cake, mochi, crepe cake, french macarons, and more. It's near the Enson Market. It wasn't too loud inside and there were plenty of places to sit. I think it would be a great place for a date or to meet up with friends. My order: The matcha green tea w. coconut milk (no boba). I also tried the tiramisu mousse cake. The green tea was really tasty, the tiramisu mousse was just okay IMO. So the fact that I'm giving this place 5 stars means this place is stellar. It's not a place I would even expect to exist in a small place like Gainseville, let alone be THIS GOOD. BUT this place is THAT GOOD. The cakes were all LA tier, maybe even Taiwan/China tier, which is Saying SOMETHING!!! I travel a lot and my experience with asian stores in small towns has always been subpar. It might look authentic, etc but then the taste will disappoint and I'm reminded why the 626 in LA is known as an Asian food haven. But this store tasted straight out of the 626. I walked in looking for Asian desserts because I can only go so long existing on wypipo food tbh. I noticed there's a nice new Chinese market next door and the staff inside was all Chinese, speaking Mandarin - very encouraging. I looked at the cakes. They looked legit! Real Asian cake store level. But I still told myself to lower my expectations with the taste so I wouldn't be disappointed later. I bought four cakes and two drinks. Would have bought food too but their kitchen was closed (I came 30 mins before closing). Tbh, the drinks are just fine. I've had better, these were a tiny bit watered down - but still decent. The guava and lychee flavors we got were very prevalent and there was a fresh lime slice in mine. But the cakes!!! The cakes are 5 star. The cakes are LA worthy. TAIPEI worthy. What is this store doing in Gainseville?? I sure hope they survive. I have to come back to Gainseville often for medical events, so - I will be coming to this store EACH TIME. Please, please stay open for me. ;) The cakes are perfectly light, soft, not too sweet. (If you know Asian desserts you'll know what I'm talking about). The mochi layers inside were perfectly done, sweet, smooth, very QQ. Everything from the injeolmi flavor to taro paste to mango gelatin layers - all the flavors were there in just the right way. The textures - perfect. Lady M can't compete with the crepe cakes. The basque was cooked to PERFECTION. The mochi round cakes - like eating Taro clouds. This is not an amateur bakery, folks. This bakery know what they're doing. You have a gem here, Gainseville. I literally logged into Yelp to leave this review for them. Please do yourself a favor and try their cakes - Try them ALL. Experience the beauty of Asian desserts. I feel like every single thing here will be done perfectly. I know I'm gonna keep coming back to try more!

I also figured it made more sense for the road as I had many hours until I would reach South Florida. He ordered an oolong milk tea with boba while I ordered a strawberry green tea with boba. Both were refreshing, but I think I'm happy I stuck with the strawberry green tea. Milk and long car rides aren't good companions and that's with me not being lactose intolerant.
