Macaron ice cream sandwich.
Eric G.

Wine and desserts in a a bright fun spot in Celebration Point. Macarons, cakes, chocolate - all delicious. We had a key lime merengue and a macaron ice cream sandwich. Key lime was sweet and tart with well baked crust. Ice cream sandwich was delicious.

Small gelato

This place used to be really good.. maybe three years ago. The poor worker was exactly measuring out 1 ounce of gelato for a small?? Two years ago it used to look like a full scoop of ice cream but now it looks like a tablespoon amount. She took so long to measure out that ounce too like stingy much?

Red wine and macaron flight

Looking for a fun date night? Check out Le Macaron's wine and macaron flight nights on the second Saturday of every month. The February tasting, which featured wines from France, was my first time going, and I'll definitely be back. This is my go-to spot in town whenever I'm in the mood for macarons, and the delicious dessert tasted even better when thoughtfully paired with wine. We got a red flight and a white flight because I just couldn't choose! My favorite duo was the chardonnay and salted caramel macaron, followed closely by the pinot noir and casis jam macaron. The staff were super friendly and walked us through each flight pairing. All in all, what an enjoyable way to spend a Saturday night!

Stopped in to grab a small treat for myself and was pleasantly surprised to find gelato and chocolates alongside the large macaron selection. Chocolates were delicious, perfectly sweet and not too dense or rich. Macarons melt in your mouth.

Half a dozen vanilla and half a dozen assorted macarons

Wonderful selection of flavors at this new French patisserie here in town! As the name suggests, they specialize in macarons (which come in flavors like rose, grand marnier, pistachio, mango jam, and white chocolate basil in addition to the more conventional flavors), but you can also get gelato or really freaking artsy looking chocolate (if you want to really knock someone's socks off visually, their chocolate no joke looks like jewels.) I attended the opening day event and feel that it could have been run a little more organized, but I know that won't be relevant on other more ordinary occasions. Oh yeah and i believe they also serve wine.

Although a bit on the pricy side, both the macarons and gelato were delicious. The macarons weren't too sweet, had a nice texture, and had a lot of interesting flavors to choose from. The gelato was also super addictive and the staff was super nice about allowing us to pick two flavors within our one scoop. Would definitely come again!

Cappuccino, 12 oz* with regular milk, dine in.

Delicious crispy, flavorful macarons. Very free Esly and thoughtful staff, very welcoming environment. Coffee is great.

Birthday cake macaron-YUMMY!!!

OMG this place right here! So glad I tried it and it's about to be my new little gem/go to place! It's such a cute place! I'm already planning to come back either by myself and with a good girlfriend! I came in and the color aesthetics were just so pretty and girlie and so me! The sweet lady at the counter was very prompt, helpful and wearing a mask! At first, I wasn't planning to get any gelato but when she asked if I wanted a sample, I was like sure! I got the American cookie gelato(aka Oreo) and omg melts in your mouth, literally so darn tasty! I ended up getting a small cup with a birthday cake macaron and omg talk about fresh and DELICIOUS! It's tasted like butter, I literally savored that little thing(each bite I took) so darn good! They also serve wine and cute little wall; Instagram picture worthy I must say! I love this little place! So worth it, definitely coming back, perhaps it may be a weekly thing just to get the macaron! Definitely try this place out, I was planning to try this place out a while back and never got a chance to but so happy I finally got around to this time!

Okay I am not a fan of the touristy feel of Celebration Pointe or what they have to offer in terms of expensive/over priced everything...

I cannot wait to go back up and purchase sourdough again! I am very particular about my sourdough bread and this one you can taste the sour. Fresh market is the only other place that I can taste the sour in the sourdough bread. They offer pastries as well and different coffees. In the same plaza, they have a fish market that has great fish dip that went perfectly with the sourdough. The service was great and friendly. There is a raised area on the floor where if you're not looking, you can trip easily. I recommended that they put a bright orange piece of tape on it to get people's eye to notice there's a ledge. The ambience of the place feels like a bakery with all the different selections that you would see in France. If you are in the area go check it out! Enjoy!

The perfect place for a book club meet-up, or catch up with friends at any time of day, the cafe is sweetly decorated and uber cozy. I was so glad to see they were open as the few times I had visited before they were closed. With that said, I recommend to call beforehand as my understanding is that the bakery has odd hours sometimes. The staff was friendly and helped me choose a selection of goods to take home with me. I ended up with their very last snickerdoodle cookie, two spinach quiches, and their peanut butter chocolate cheesecake with an Oreo crust. Yum, yum, and yum! All of it. The quiche was particularly good and heated up well the next day keeping the center moist and fluffy while still being loaded with spinach. Sorry to say my review won't come with photos of the treats I picked up as I ran out quickly to get home in the rain. But...I guess you'll just have to go see yourself! Soleil Bakery & Social House is a must try!

We finally explored the square due to one of the art walk events. Since it we visited twice here on Friday evenings, we decided to have espresso. During the events in the square, the businesses usually stay open later than usual. This also means they are busy. I have yet to visit during normal business hours so I am not sure how the traffic is usually. Our first visit was just to check it out and get whatever on a spontaneous decision. I did not know they serve beer and wine so I opted for wine our first time. I picked out some French white wine, which wound up being over $20 for a tiny bottle! The staff member warned me she was unsure of the price and we were both shocked when she scanned it lol. I then switched it for a sparkling wine, which was half the price. The espresso hubs and I split was as good as it gets. We love our espressos and coffee bold and strong so we were happy. The staff member also gave me a teacher's discount, which I appreciate so much because therapists don't usually get discounts! The next time we visited, we ordered another espresso, as well as a cinnamon bun and an Andes cake. OMFG how orgasmic!! I love mint chocolate anything so I was sooooo excited! We saved it for later and it was just amazing! Hubs loves cinnamon buns and he approved as well. Both times we sat for a while, sipped our coffee, and talked. I am definitely interested in checking Soleil out when it is less busy to soak it in. The place was clean and the staff were personable and friendly. They serve a lot of vegan products and honestly, they are so good, you probably could not tell the difference which is vegan or not. They have comfy seating and it does feel very cozy in there.

I've only ever come for the ice cream before, but this time I tried the ceremonial matcha with oat milk and the Turkey Pesto Sandwich, and wow... I was genuinely impressed. I'm not vegan by any means, but I didn't miss the "real" turkey at all, which completely caught me by surprise. The sandwich was exactly what I was craving: creamy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The Seitan Turkey, vegan provolone, cilantro walnut pesto, tomato, lettuce, and mayo on multigrain bread came together beautifully. The bread was soft but nicely toasted, and every bite was and satisfying. The matcha was smooth, earthy, and delicious one of the best I've had in Gainesville. Even though the place was packed, the staff was quick, kind, and on top of everything. Overall, such a great experience. I'll definitely be coming back for more than just ice cream from now on.

The chickpea salad was okay, more from a subjective perspective because I'm not vegan and my tastebuds were prepping for a chicken salad sandwich with each bite. Granted, I was trying something new with the matcha and the sandwich, so nothing inherently wrong on their end, just not a fan. Notwithstanding, all of the ingredients tasted fresh, which was a bonus. The monkey bread is really why the rating is on the higher side with consideration to the other 2/3 of my meal not being my favorite. My boyfriend would have gotten 2 or 3 more monkey breads if we had known it was so good from the get go
