I got a chocolate chip cookie dipped in the dark chocolate sea salt dip and it was good but just nothing special. The service was pretty good, though the workers seemed a little confused at times. It's also very pricey for what you get. Not bad for a novelty, but I probably wouldn't come back.

Now when I realized where it was, I became a little hesitant as I tend to stay away from the downtown area especially on the weekends because of parking (and sometimes crowds) but being a Sunday afternoon it wasn't too bad. I was actually able to park right across the street which was nice. I'm not sure how I'd never noticed this place before but now that I know it's there, I won't forget it! It's a small shop under the Hyatt Place with a few places to sit down if you wanted inside. It was empty which was a plus for me and I was helped by the sweetest woman. She answered all my questions, gave me all the recs, and let me sample any and everything I wanted. I went easy on her and just tried a few things though. I'm one of those people who tends to look at the menu beforehand so I pretty much knew what I wanted going in but needed confirmation through sampling. I will say that the special flavor that day was blueberry cheesecake and that was delicious! It almost made me change my mind but I knew I was going to get soft serve dipped with a topping. I went with vanilla soft serve dipped in birthday cake topped with rainbow sprinkles. They sell soft serve, regular ice cream, cookies, cheesecake, etc and they dip almost anything! Lots of flavors and what not to choose from, there is surely something for everyone. Some could say it's a bit pricey but hey, you get what you pay for and these days, I'm okay with splurging every now and then for a sweet treat. I can't wait to go back and try more combos.

From the moment I walked in, the owner welcomed me with a warm, friendly greeting that set the tone for the entire visit. While the shop is cozy, it is impeccably clean, well-organized, and clearly maintained with pride. Their menu offers a fantastic variety of flavors with three different sizes of shaved ice, all at a very reasonable price point. When it came time to order, I decided to let the staff showcase their creativity and asked for a "delicious surprise." After a few thoughtful questions about my favorite fruits and flavor profiles, they crafted a Banana Cream Pie shaved ice that was absolutely divine. My husband opted for a Peach, Raspberry, and Mango combination, which was equally refreshing and flavorful. Beyond the treats, what really stood out was the service. We spent some time enjoying our desserts and chatting with the owner, whose hospitality made the visit feel special. It is the perfect spot to beat the summer heat or enjoy some quality family time. A quick note for visitors: The establishment currently does not have ramp access. If you have mobility challenges, I recommend bringing a companion along to assist with entry. I will definitely be returning to Charlie's Snow Shack soon. If you're looking for great service and even better treats, this local business is a must-visit!

They offer a variety of baked goods, beverages, and even ice cream that's all plant-based and organic. Part of the reason I've never checked Karma Cream out is due to the fact that they are 100% vegan. I am by no means a vegetarian or vegan and have typically found that vegan foods just don't taste as good. Although my preconceived notions were definitely proven wrong as I had two incredible baked goods from here! The cafe is quant and inviting. They offer plenty of seating and it looks like a great place to study. It is kept clean and organized as well. The service was super friendly and they seem to know locals well. The woman taking my order was able to help me decide on what to try, which I appreciated! Their baked goods appear to rotate, with some staple items and other seasonal/special items. The bakery case has plenty to offer between cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and more! Everything was super fresh as there were even workers bringing out freshly baked items to replenish the bakery case. I got the snickers brownie and a raspberry white chocolate macaron. I'm not going to lie, these items were a little pricey coming in at $10. I guess this should be expected when considering the ingredients going into the products. The brownie was recommended to me and it didn't disappoint. The brownie had the texture of a Betty Crocker mix, which I wasn't expecting for a all-vegan baked good. It wasn't dry and honestly had pretty good flavor. The whipped "snickers" icing on top was really amazing and complimented the brownie nicely. This wasn't an amazing brownie, but it wasn't bad either. The macaron was really good though and it was extremely reminiscent of a non-vegan macaron. I was the most impressed with this item and would recommend. The raspberry flavor was spot on and very fresh--delectable! Overall, I am glad a took a chance and checked out Karma Cream. The items I had didn't taste like they were vegan at all and were good. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere very welcoming. I really appreciated how clean it was too. I need to come back and try their coffee or matcha, along with their ice cream! I will certainly be back and look forward to trying more.
