Chocolate peanut butter (DF) + the coconut almond fudge (DF)
Michaela S.

I visited here on a whim, because I was nearby shopping at another store. The vibes are very much giving "nostalgic ice cream shop", and I loved it! The place was actually packed on a Saturday night, and there was a short line forming but it was moving right along. Also random: I don't do dairy, and if I do it's in moderation. (Allergic, lactose-intolerant, whatever. It hurts my stomach and gives me hives) So I actually just popped in to check out the decor and take pictures, because again: The decor! I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had not one, but TWO dairy-free ice cream flavors on the day I visited. *so thankful* The woman behind the counter was so sweet. She said that the DF flavors change occasionally, but they're made locally. When she saw that I was having a hard time choosing between the two flavors, she offered me a sample! Then when I realized they were both amazing, she let me know I could do a scoop of each flavor. *cheat chode* I tried the chocolate peanut butter (DF) and the coconut almond fudge (DF). When I tell you that the latter tasted like an 'Almond Joy' candy bar, but in a good way, I was elated! I definitely finished both scoops before I started my car. Their menu had lots of fun stuff like scoops in cups, scoops in cones, milkshakes, a bunch of toppings, and even retro candy for sale in the store. I highly recommend checking out Florida Creamery if you're in the area of just passing through. They have options for ice cream lovers and dairy-free folks alike, which is so encouraging!

A cute little ice cream shop in high springs with ice cream, sorbet and vegan options. Always friendly service and a cute atmosphere where yiu can enjoy a scoop inside or outside at one of the little tables. I live their sorbet, very refreshing on a hot day.

A banana split with strawberry, vanilla, and blueberry cheesecake ice cream. It has pecans, cherries, whip cream, and Carmel sauce

Ice cream was amazing and with unique flavors. Definitely will go back. I enjoyed the eclectic decoration of the shop giving it a fun and adventurous feel.

This was our second time coming here. I tried a mix milkshake with cookies and cream and butter pecan it was so good I ended up getting two. (I drink a lot) My friends all got milkshakes that they enjoyed a lot. It is only one employee working the counter and she was busy!! The milkshake this time was very good!

I selected a pound of various chocolates to get exactly what I wanted plus to avoid any possibility of the pre-packaged assortments being stale. These pre-packaged boxes however looked beautiful and all the chocolates were laid out neatly, with plastic wrap covering them so you could see what was inside. I figured the staff would place the chocolates I chose into a similar box and with as much care. Instead, to my horror when I opened the box at home, she had just thrown them into the box! You can see this in the photo attached. It upset my mom and is not the caliber of service you expect from a shop like this, furthermore, it easily could have been avoided: the girl who did it could have just placed a pound of candies into two boxes and tied them together with a ribbon or used a divider to create two layers in one box. There is no excuse, especially when something is clearly intended as a gift, for this sloppiness.

Answer: "Yes, we have these." (Clerk pointing to several small boxes behind a glass display case) Question: "May I see one?" Clerk retrieves a box and holds it on her side of the counter. Question: I extend my hand and ask, "May I look at it?" Answer: "No sir. It has alcohol in the cherries. I cant let you touch the box." Question: "The reason I can't look at the box is because it has alcohol?" Answer: "Yes Sir." Customer Departing Comment: "Enjoy your chocolates." Clerk Departing Comment: "Have a nice Day." Query: How does one read the ingredients without holding and reading the box? My wife visited several days before Christmas in a prior year to purchase some Marzipan. She was told they were making some later that day and to come back in the afternoon. When my wife returned she was told it had been made but all of it was sold. Overall, I do not feel customers are valued by this business and would never return!!

Thornebrook Chocolates - When opened, clearly no effort was made to organize the candies or make them look nice. They were just tossed in the box.

I keep coming back for their salmon salad with dill and cucumber. It's so fresh, flavorful, and honestly one of the best grab-and-go meals I've had. I always end up picking up a croissant box & something from their baked goods section. They're buttery, flaky perfection. The ambiance is warm and I always feel relaxed once I come in. Lighting is perfect because it makes you want to stay longer and they might be on to something there. I find myself taking my sweet time going from aisle to aisle with no rush. While I'm there, I like to explore their drink section, they always have something interesting, whether it's a unique juice, botanical soda, or a fancy iced tea I haven't seen before. They have a great range of high-quality products, and it's fun to venture off and splurge on 3-4 special items every few months. Not an everyday stop for me, but definitely one I look forward to when I want a little upgrade from my usual grocery run. To note, you must sign up for their rewards and you get a free slice of cake! The last slice I had for my birthday last year was delicious and I can't wait for this next time since my birth month is right around the corner.

What do families buy here that have children??Ended up going back and finishing up my shopping list elsewhere. Upon entering, we saw a variety of mouth watering options. My wife ordered a peanut butter crinkle cookie ($3.00), a vanilla bean scone ($4.75) and I chose a guava caisson ($4.95). We ordered our pastries to go and the woman behind the counter placed all three pastries in a box. The peanut butter crinkle cookie never made it out of the parking lot as my wife devoured it...I may have had a small piece to taste it. Not a fan of peanut butter but that cookie was legit. We brought the scone and chausson home to savor with some hot tea. My wife liked her scone but when we unearthed the chausson, it was flattened by the heavy scone placed on top of it by the lady who boxed it up. Instead of airy, flaky goodness, the chausson was disappointingly chewy and hard! Did I say disappointing?
