I stopped in this morning for a sweet treat. Located right in the middle of midtown, this is prime location for college students. The interior is clean and super cute. They also have outdoor seating on the patio out front. Concord Coffee offers a nice selection of drinks with unique syrups, etc. Although I didn't order coffee this time, I would be willing to try it in the future! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Their pastry case is limited and I believe they get their baked goods from somewhere local. I wasn't sure what to get and the worker recommended any of their pastries, as opposed to their bagels, as they were delivered fresh today. I ended up ordering the cinnamon roll, she heated it up and that took about 5 minutes. The cinnamon roll itself wasn't anything super special. The dough reminded me more of that of a croissant due to its flakier consistency. The glaze on top was light and the cinnamon inside was underwhelming. I still didn't have a problem with it until I reached the center. I noticed the center wasn't fully heated up and even felt slightly cold. But my biggest issue was the fact that the dough in the center was very much raw. It was not cooked/baked through at all. Disappointing to say the least. I would not return for a pastry or baked good, as I believe you can find better ones around the area for a better price. But I would return to try the coffee. Overall, I think Concord Coffee is a super cute coffee shop located in midtown. The staff is really sweet and helpful as well. I thought the inside was clean and I appreciated the decor. With that that being said, I would stick to beverages as opposed to their food items. My cinnamon roll was anything but special, I feel like one from Publix would have left me more satisfied. By biggest issue was definitely the fact that it wasn't baked through and raw in the center. I will get around to trying their coffee at some point in the future. read more

A cute little coffee shop tucked in a building near campus. It's a small space but bright, and has a patio out front in good weather. Definitely a place that welcomes sitting and talking, where you can relax for a bit. A small selection of bagels and baked goods, but all are good quality. 3-4 kinds of bagels and 3 kinds of muffins on the days we were there. The coffee is decent but not spectacular, though they have a long list of specialty drinks to appeal to a variety of tastes. There aren't any pour over options, if you aren't getting an espresso drink you're getting coffee from an urn. The beans do seem well sourced, the brewing doesn't seem like it's getting the best out of them. read more

Clean, modern, and full of natural light! Loved the atmosphere of this place. Right off UF's campus. Stopped by for a quick morning coffee and book sesh. Espresso is strong and packs a punch! A bit on the pricier side - $5.30 for a small oat milk Latté. Nevertheless this place has an amazing vibe for studying or doing work...especially in the morning when the early light pours through the many windows. Plentiful seating and outlets (great for students!) Highly recommend for any UF student needing to do work in a bright and airy environment. Awesome coffee with a bright, sleek aesthetic and tons of seating. Gainesville doesn't have many coffee shops considering the student population, and Wyatt's downtown is small and never has seating. The americano I got was spot on and delicious. Normal prices and a solid selection of coffee and non coffee drinks. They also offer a couple different milk alternatives btw! Parking is a little rough considering the location on W University right across from campus, but this coffee shop is definitely worth checking out! read more

I have been here twice so far since it's opened and I would say the two experiences were about the same. If you're a student at the UF campus then it is very conveniently located and the atmosphere is well created. There is seating on the first floor and a small seating section on the second floor (and seating outside which will be nice when it gets cooler). You would find more seating earlier in the day than later. Coffee wise, I would suggest trying the matcha latte because it's the best latte I've tried so far. I like that they have it milk because that is hard to find for some reason in Gainesville. The reason it receives 4 stars instead of 5 is because the price point. The way they've priced their coffee and their substitute options is very overpriced. And my friend paid a little over $5 for her matcha lemonade and said she was disappointed when she saw them pour publix lemonade into her drink as they made it. Publix is great but the price point is off. It is also inconveniently located for anyone who drives to get here because there is hardly any coffee. They offer a few selection of desserts from Uppercrust so that is nice! Worth trying if you're near campus and don't mind paying between 4-7 dollars for lattes and drinks w substitutes! read more

Concord now adds another solid coffee spot near the UF campus. Situated across from Heavener Hall at the Gator Wesley Foundation, this place has become very popular for students since it opened. Went here a couple times with my team for some meetings and we have had a great experience with the service, environment, and drinks! When I asked what they would recommend, I was fascinated to hear they offer matcha lemonade. Though it is a bit expensive the matcha is high quality and the ingenuity of it was a breath of fresh air. Their iced lattes are also great and they offer different syrups such as vanilla, caramel, mocha, and pumpkin spice. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back in the future! read more

All of my friends who are still in Gainesville have been hyping up this place. So, being as this past weekend was my first time back in several months, I had to drop by and see what the hype was all about. What a fantastic place! I went in right at 7am when the store opened, giving me a chance to really take in how aesthetically pleasing the interior was. I love the use of white granite throughout the store along with a nice iron spiral staircase that leads up to the 2nd floor seating area. But let's get down to business reviewing the coffee. This is a coffee shop is it not? They definitely do a fantastic cappuccino here. The foam art was on point while the coffee itself had nice bitter notes that was nicely balanced with the foam on top. My favorite part might be the temperature of the coffee. Unlike most places where you feel like you're going to burn yourself drinking coffee, the cappuccino here was nice and warm right below the foam, but not hot to the point where you're going to burn your tongue. For once you can happily sip without having to keep blowing on your coffee to cool it off. This place also collaborates with a local bakery called Uppercrust and sells their pastries and other baked goods that goes fantastically well with the coffee. I got a Ham and Cheese Croissant that was nice and flakey on the outside while being buttery on the inside. Truly a fantastic experience and will definitely be back the next time I'm in town! :) read more

This is a really cute and aesthetic coffee shop near campus. I was there on a wednesday morning and it was lovely. Not too crowded and plenty of open space--there's upstairs and outdoor seating as well. They carry uppercrust pastries, which is always a huge plus! Had heard great recommendations about this place, and I know they serve Uppercrust goods. Went for the roasts that day. They had two great options we tried: basic avocado and then avocado + hummus + pico. The second was our fave. We grabbed two lattes as well and they were wonderful too. Customer service was great. The place looks super cool. The only thing that will prevent me from coming back is braving the parking situation. read more

The cappuccino had a bit of a burnt bitter flavor I wasn't a huge fan of, it was alright, a bit pricey. I will try one of their lattes, which I know they have sales on for $2 on occasion. Drinks can be pretty expensive for the size, but the small food menu is surprisingly inexpensive. $4 for avocado toast is like half what you would pay for it at other shops in Gainesville, and it's really good.
