Cute coffee shop in Alachua. Found them via Yelp and wanted to check out. Customer service : Great Atmosphere: Great Coffee: Great Note: Now if you go on a Sunday during church hours parking is horrible!

So my friend and I decided to grab a iced drink and get some remote work done here at Doxa today. When I walked in, I was amazed with the modern industrial interior of the business. Immediately, when walking in you are greeted by friendly employees who are very knowledgeable about their menu. I wanted to try their seasonal drink/syrup which I saw on Instagram. I ordered an iced latte with coconut syrup (seasonal flavor) and oat milk. I did browse around while waiting and saw that they have a mini gift shop in the corner. It has candles, honey, coffee maker & cups, and other trinkets. They also had a fridge stocked with kombucha, sparkling drinks, and other canned beverages. Since I wasn't getting my drink to go, they make your drink and bring it you! I lovedddd this. It was around 10:30 am and the seating was somewhat limited for the time but I wanted to still upstairs to enjoy the ambiance. The second floor really set it off for me as you can enjoy the interior of the coffee shop. To get upstairs, you do have to go up a spiral staircase which I loved since it fits in with that industrial vibe. The only thing I hated today was that the person next to us had her kids running around and screaming and unfortunately disturbing everyone in the building. For my iced latte, it came with a metal straw/spoon hybrid which I liked a lot. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and the coffee was brewed perfectly and not burnt tasting at all. My friend ordered their matcha colada and it came in this pineapple glass with a cherry and cute umbrella in it. She said it was perfect and would order it again. They also serve food as well so I would like to try the chia pudding or avocado toast. I really enjoyed my visit here today and look forward to coming back here.

This was my first time visiting Doxa! It did not disappoint! I ordered the ricotta toast with jam and wow! It was like a piece of art, it looked so beautiful that I didn't want to eat it.lol It was sourdough toast my favorite, the ricotta was thick and rich, the jam was sweet and the lemon zest balanced everything. I would definitely get this again. The matcha latte was delicious also and the service was great. I would like to go back and get the ricotta toast again and try their avocado toast as well. Check them out if you haven't yet.

Strawberry matcha and matcha latte

Great relaxed vibe, nice coffee selection and plenty of room to relax. Tried their matcha latte with oat milk and lavender honey. I order matcha often and this was one of the best I have had at any coffee shop. Also ordered a strawberry matcha that was delicious. Plenty of seating options. There is a cute upstairs area with some couches. A long bar top against the main window with lots of power to plug in.

What a great little coffee spot! Absolutely loved the aesthetics inside, the attention to detail aaaand the adorable plant swap system they have created in there. This would definitely be my go-to if I lived in the area. Staff was friendly and suggested I order the lavender latte since I was so undecided. It was a great choice since I rarely have that option available at my usual spots. I also really liked the candles they had for sale- they smelled incredible! Overall a great little stop on our roadtrip!

So happy I finally checked out this coffee shop! Though it is off the beaten path for those who live and work near UF's campus, it is well worth the short drive. To start, the space is right up the alley of this industrial-modern interior design lover. Every item on the menu sounds delicious. On my first visit, I opted to try something from the seasonal menu: an iced orange mocha. It tasted exactly as described, but better than expected - no artificial flavor to be found. The edible flowers sprinkled on top were a lovely touch, giving the whole experience a more elevated feel. I'll definitely be back again and again to make my way through the whole menu!

I love coffee. And I and my daughter like to visit new places. Today we went to this one and we were fascinated. Very friendly employees. Very nice place, if you are looking for a quiet place to study and have a good coffee, this is the place. I ordered a cappuccino with coconut milk and vanilla, delicious. My daughter ordered a cold latte with oat milk, she loved it, it wasn't watery, it was just right.

Who knew such good coffee could be found in Alachua? Doxa was a pleasant surprise and not too far off the interstate. I appreciated the baristas knowledge of the beans they had for pour overs and on drip. She said they brew their coffees on the light side which was very true but I enjoy. If you are looking for a really bold and dark coffee make sure to ask before ordering.

Cold brew, cortado

This place slaps! Alachua has no business having such a good coffee shop! We stopped here on our way from Tampa back to Atlanta and were blown away by the space and the quality of the drinks. The cold brew has some fruity notes to it that makes it not your "standard" brew and the cortado was perfectly prepared. Major props to this shop for going the extra mile and getting cortado specific to-go cups. I also ordered the panini that had bacon, gouda, tomato, pickled onions and greens on rosemary bread... can honestly say it was life changing. Great spot! We'll be stopping here anytime we drive down to Florida.

Iced honey cinnamon latte, iced matcha latte, & an interesting game of tic-tac-toe

Ellianos Coffee

Hidden gem for a quick sweet pick-me-up! I stopped by the drive-thru in the evening after a day at…read morethe springs and ordered a medium Cookies & Cream Freezer with whipped cream. It was super smooth and creamy, not icy at all, with the perfect sweetness and a light espresso flavor so it drinks more like a dessert coffee. The service was very fast and the baristas were extremely friendly. The location felt clean, safe, and convenient right off the highway. A 10/10 quick stop and I would definitely order it again!

Great coffee, but painfully slow service at the Alachua location…read more I've been a fan of Ellianos Coffee for years and have visited multiple locations across Florida. The drinks are consistently solid with good strong espresso, good flavors, and reliable options. The Alachua spot has the same great menu and quality brews I've come to expect. Unfortunately, the service here is a major letdown compared to every other Ellianos I've been to. What is usually a quick drive-thru stop elsewhere, turns into a long, frustrating wait in Alachua. Even with a moderate line (or sometimes barely any cars), it takes significantly longer to move through the order and pickup process. I've experienced very slow pacing multiple times with the staff seeming disorganized and often standing around chatting with one another goofing around while customers are waiting, and orders taking forever to prepare with less accuracy, and overall much less efficiency than the chain's usual "speed and precision" promise. For better accuracy, it would be beneficial for the person taking the order to repeat it back to the customer. Other Ellianos locations handle busy mornings with quick, friendly service even during rushes. This one is noticeably slower and less streamlined, which is disappointing when you're just trying to grab a coffee on the go. The coffee is still worth it if you're not in a hurry, and the staff are polite when you finally get to the window. But for drive-thru convenience and speed, this Alachua location falls short of the Ellianos standard I've enjoyed elsewhere. Hopefully they can pick up the pace because it's the one big thing keeping me from being a regular here. If you're in the area and have time to spare, give it a try for the drinks. Otherwise, I'd stick to other nearby Ellianos or alternatives if speed matters.
