Exactly what I was hoping for on a gloomy day. The Airstream setup itself is really charming and adds to the experience. It feels cozy and laid back, and the location is easy to pop into without feeling rushed. Service was friendly and efficient, and my drink came out quickly. So it's that time of the year where fall flavors are prominent and Opus Coffee is checking off all the boxes. I decided to indulge in all things fall and order an Opus Pocus. I loved the name of this drink as it's a take on one of my favorite Halloween movies, Hocus Pocus. The staff is pretty friendly and always knowledgeable when ordering. When ordering the Opus Pocus, I did substitute the milk option for almond milk. My order came out pretty quick. Since it was a nice day out, I decided to enjoy my iced coffee in the 4th Ave Park atmosphere. The coffee has a great balance of the pumpkin and maple flavors. It's in harmony with the profile of the shaken espresso. The cold foam is a game changer! The caramel cream is sweet but not sickly sweet at all. I love the cinnamon on top of the foam to make you fall in fall in Florida. I really liked this fall drink - definitely adding it to my favorites list. The vanilla latte was one of the best we've ever had. This is a cool concept, in a very interesting space. There is a vintage Airstream RV with a full service coffee shop built inside, and then a large box truck you can eat and drink inside. There are several restaurants all sharing the same outside dining area (pizza, bagels, tacos). My americano was fine, but the wait time was far too long - not a fault of the business as much as a result of how busy it was. I don't think I would come out of my way just for the coffee per se, but really enjoy this food park concept. read more

My favorite coffee in Gainesville! I love the adventure series that they have at their airstream location, especially the La Horchata. They also have fun seasonal drinks. I have yet to try anything I didn't like. For how busy they usually are, the service is really quick and they're always super friendly. I like their variety and I order The Horchata, which has rice milk, cinnamon, coconut milk, espresso. It was delicious. Had a nice sweet flavor. The only thing is that it was not that hot. Just kind of warm and got cold too quickly. My daughter order the Oh Canada with Maple syrup, nutmeg. She did not like it and thought that flavor was going to be quite different. Ended up getting breakfast in Gainesville and wanted to try a local coffee spot!! So we ended up going to this coffee truck (what a cool freaking idea!!!!!!) and got the chai tea latte and a normal LATTEE! OMG BOTH WERE AMAZING!! I got the hot chai tea latte which was delicious!! The other lattee was an iced lattee and was also super yummmm! The hot lattes do have the option for small, medium, and large but the iced lattes are only medium or large. They didn't have anything other than whole milk, which was a bit much for my lactose intolerant husband. I would definitely like to see more options in terms of milk next time! Other than that, the staff was really nice and the outdoor seating is definitely a vibe!! Would go back again if we visit!! read more

I love Opus coffee and I was so happy to see them at the 4th Ave Food Park. Best craft coffee and they serve it here out of a converted airstream. I wish I could give extra stars because this is the coolest idea ever!!! Locally roasted, the coffee is delish. I ordered a cappuccino and it was perfect. $4.95 for a large 20 ounce is a deal. Add an organic syrup for only 50 cents. The lavender is very good... not too sweet. They offer some specialty drinks too and some of them sound pretty good. I may need to try an Oh Canada, featuring Canadian Maple Syrup or the Mayan Mocha with Mexican Chili and Chocolate for a sweet and spicy. My husband ordered a coffee, and I ordered hot chocolates for my kids- I really appreciate having a kid-friendly option advertised to order - so smart! With the generous prices, adding this on was a 'hell, yes.' The daily specials were creative and sounded wonderful, but just a tad too sweet for my morning tastes. The 4th Ave Food Park communal yard space is where I drank this chai, which accompanied my bagels and waffles from the other vendors. I ordered a holiday drink called "apple cobbler latte" iced. It was delicious!!! The toasted marshmellow whipped cream was unique and flavorful. My guest asked if they could whip up a cafe con leche because it wasnt on the menu. And they sure did, and it was very good! The staff was friendly and attentive. & the coffee was made quick! A child who looked to be about 8 years old ordered a cold brew in front of me. He had those cute glasses that little kids sometimes have. I love those. I hope that cold brew wasn't for him though, he's definitely too young to be drinking cold brew I hope his parents were just kind of hung over or something waiting in the car. I got a large instead of my usual medium for absolutely no reason and then put a splash of this insane funfetti flavored creamer I found in my friend's fridge in it. Opus Coffee's 4th Ave Food Park location has a neat quirk: it's housed within a converted Airstream camper. This allows them to not only be mobile, but also have a cool place to sell out of. They have the typical Opus drink menu (coffees, lattes, matcha drinks), but without the food. That's okay, because there's tons of food options in that area. They're incredibly quick with making drinks and have this far been the only place to make a matcha drink I actually like.
