It's a Krispy Kreme. The hot light was on. Yes they have seasonal varieties, but the hot light was on. Need I say more? If you like a yeasty, reliable, chain franchise doughnut, this is it. More costly than what they were when I was in college, but still the same delightful taste, the store turns on the hot light sign and I am there. Before we even left the parking lot, half the dozen was gone. The melt in your mouth factor of the fresh from the grease doughnut lets me know that heaven is real. The employees were kind and fast, minimizing the cool down period of the doughnut. Normally, we would eat inside, but due to the weather, we opted to eat in the car. The interior was clean and looked like all other Krispy Kreme's I've been to recently. I'm looking forward to eating more tomorrow, although you can't replicate the doughy inside right now, but if you nuke it for 8 seconds and add a cup of coffee, it's as good as you can get under those circumstances. read more

We came here for the Harry Potter collection donuts. They had a selection of all of them including special sorting hat boxes and donuts. I got the griffindoor donut, its was pretty good. A little rich for even a donut. My 2 oldest boys got the sorting hat donuts and managed to get the houses they wanted! The cashier was very talkative and friendly and even inquired of the boys as to which house they got "sorted" into. It was a good experience and we went when it wasnt very busy. read more

I love this place but wow have they gotten very high. Just two years ago it was 12 for a dozen and now it's 16 even with a discount. Not sure if it's worth my sweet tooth anymore but they are surely friendly and the products are delicious . read more

I wanted to try one of the limited time Biscoff donuts so I ordered one to go (in addition to a classic chocolate iced with sprinkles). I was the only customer in the store and it took maybe a minute before I was greeted. They seemed to be short staffed because the cashier checked me out at the drive thru register. He was polite. Both donuts were just ok. They tasted stale and that could be because I went closer to the end of the day (5pm). The Biscoff one had only a slight taste of the Biscoff cookie flavor. It mostly tasted like chocolate on top of a (stale) glazed donut. If you're looking to save money, I definitely recommend signing up for their app because Krispy Kreme has deals all the time. I was able to get the Biscoff donut free with purchase. Krispy Kreme is great when their donuts are hot, but I probably will not go here on the regular unless they have specialty donuts or deals. read more

Who doesn't like Krispy Kreme? Their donuts are scrumptious, and when you see the light on that, they're hot and fresh, fugetaboutit! A buddy and I went to the drive thru to grab one dozen assorted filled and a dozen plain. Getting a dozen gets you a dozen plain for two bucks! It was the last day of that deal. Let's hope it returns. the young lady taking our order was very polite, but kept com8ng back telling is they did not have this flavor or that flavor. Each time, I repeated that I just wanted a dozen assorted filled based on what they had. Simple. We got our donuts back to the house and plopped them onto the kitchen counter. Opening the cover of these containers of heavenly goodness, the first contained a dozen beautiful plain donuts with their glorious glazed surfaces. Anxious to get to the filled, I opened the next box. That's when disappointment set in. There were only eight filled. The other four were regular donuts. What was this madness!? Well, the store is a one-way 40-minute drive, so these babies are not going back. We enjoyed them all, but when I order and pay for something, it's what I expect to receive. If you don't have any more filled at all (really?), then let me know you are out of filled. I don't care which filled I get, but gove me filled. Thus, the 2 star deduction. Ordered some donuts. While enjoying it inside with the kids, went to order more donuts to take-away and a hot Latte. When I opened the Latte cup to add sugar, realised it was only half filled with black coffee. Went back to the cashier and he basically just added more black coffee. I told the boy it should be 'milk coffee' but he told me to just add milk. I returned again to the boy and told him that it was not a Latte and if he can make it again. I waited about 30 minutes for the boy to keep trying to make a Latte. He then handed me a totally cold coffee again. I went back for the last time and asked for a refund. Cameron told me that the refund was done on their system even though he did not ask me to touch the card on reader again. He assured me that the refund was done.. now 4 days later stil no refund from Krispy Kreme for the hot Latte they could not prepare. I explain to Michael that I can't order at the window and he laughs in my face and tells me to pull back around. Just went to Krispy Kreme (my absolute favorite) in Burlington. We got our normal order. A dozen hot and a dozen assorted. Going through and picking out the assorted, we got the new original kreme (both chocolate and regular). As we were waiting on our hots, one of the people behind the counter gave us three of the original kreme to try. We were very gracious and was thrilled that he offered them to us. Stopped here on my way to Raleigh, it is not far from I-40/I-85, across the street from the mall on Huffman Mill Road. The store is brand new, with drive-thru and a few seats inside. The selection is like at every Krispy Kreme. The staff was very friendly and provided me with a buy one, get one box coupon for the holidays... at this point they get five stars. XD It took them a little while for the regular glaze, but they were also just turning on the machines to make them, so they were fresh as I got'em. I get an assorted half dozen twice a week every week from this location, and the people here are friendly and welcoming. Since Krispy Kreme has discontinued its half dozen, they have been ringing it up as two 3-packs for a total of $7.24. But today I do exactly the same and get charged $7.41. I asked if the price had gone up and the girl at the window said that it was a new policy from corporate to not to ring a half dozen up as two 3-packs as they made more money that way.
