They NEVER miss ! Will always be my at home favorite coffee shop. They came out with their spring menu and it's filled w delicious options. The peach coldbrew spoke to me but I went to try the strawberry coldfoam and it was perfect. Love how they make the syrups in house and never over sweeten their drinks. The upclose cookie crumbles on top picture shows how yummy and soft the cookies get once they sit in the coldfoam soaking up the flavors. So good! Loved it! read more

Nice coffee shop with great pastries and unique latte flavors! The service was friendly and very quick with our order. I got a pumpkin whoopie pie and my wife got the pumpkin spice latte. Both were good and satisfying. We loved the cool hand painted murals on the walls and the cozy decor. They did a good job making the interior inviting. This is a great option to get your coffee and pastry fix! read more

Quite a variety of coffee and tea options, and the staff is very patient and helpful with choices. They have outstanding fresh baked goods, including several more special gluten free options. I always buy extras to take to my dad. It's a cute and quaint spot with several tables and a quiet atmosphere. read more

Wonderful coffee shop in Burlington area! Stopped by a couple times before work and ordered the blackberry latte. The latte was smooth, no bitterness and the perfect amount of blackberry without overpowering or sweet. They also have food items that looked good but did not get a chance to try. Service was friendly both visits! Inside was modern and clean. Lots of room for parking. Would definitely return again if in the area. read more

Converge Coffee Roasters - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Burlington, North Carolina

I had delivery from Converge and the sandwiches were so good. We had the Stacker and Phoenix. Both were unusual and fresh. Next time I will dine at the restaurant. read more

Converge has THE best hot lattes. And probably cold lattes. This place redefines how good coffee can be. Their ambiance and service are all good vibes, too. read more

After a rough 12 hours of delayed flights and mishaps the night before, my boyfriend and I were in dire need of good coffee. We were headed to his parents' place in Burlington from the airport and I quickly looked up a spot on Yelp for coffee and Converge came up. Normally I go for places with at least a couple hundred solid reviews, I figured I'd give this place a shot...and was not disappointed. Converge has only been open for about a year, which explains why it doesn't have many reviews, but I'm sure it'll start picking up reviews pretty quickly because this place is fantastic! We walked in and were happily greeted by one of the store owners. They have seasonal drinks as well as their normal offerings. They offer alternative milks (oat, almond, and macadamia!) and offer some yummy bites too! I ordered a London Fog with macadamia milk while my boyfriend ordered a seasonal iced latte. Both drinks were fantastic and just what we needed after a hectic trip. We loved it so much that we came back later in the afternoon for another cup of coffee and some mochi ice cream. I love mochi ice cream! We chose the sesame, red bean, and matcha flavors--all were great choices. Converge is definitely our new favorite coffee spot in Burlington and we look forward to coming back for coffee and treats whenever we're in the area! read more

First, they KNOW coffee, inside and out. They have a varying selections of "origins" - coffees from different parts of the world. Each is labeled with information about roasting types (for example, dark or light) and tasting notes. But if this sounds intimidating, it isn't. The folks who own the shop, and work here, are down-to-earth, friendly, and will just get you a coffee - or talk to you about the flavors - whatever you want. Other reviewers have called the shop "cozy" and "cute." Second, they are connected with a roasting company - and so have great insight into their sourcing, including the ethics of where the coffee comes from, and the farmers who grow their coffee. If you are looking for high quality coffee in a comfortable coffee shop, check them out. read more

Converge is really small but super cute, neat and cozy! I've been to Converge a few times and I loved it every single time! Their coffee is always so amazing, staff is super nice and friendly. They also have some bakery you can get with your coffee and they are delicious! This place is locally owned and I think their price is pretty reasonable too. They are always busy with students, people with their laptops, etc and I love coming here by myself or with my friends to catch up. Can't wait to come back! This is my go to coffee place around here! read more

Can't speak for their coffee, but i have heard good things about it from many people! I do use the same tea they have from Asheville tea company and it is heavenly. I give it 2 stars for being clean and staff was friendly. However, in my opinion you have to rate a coffee shop on the actual coffee. The coffee was not good. Will not try again. read more

This is the second time we have been here and it is great! We got the vanilla iced coffee and the stacker toast. The coffee tasted good. But the real star is the toast! The people are always friendly and their baked treats are always delicious. I couldn't rate this place higher! Five stars! read more

I really like this place -- it's locally-owned, the coffee is excellent, and the atmosphere is really nice. They have a private room that can be reserved for meetings, and there is a lot of comfortable seating available. Great service, too. The only critique I have of the atmosphere is the Christian music that was blasted over the speakers for about two hours while I was there trying to work. I have nothing against this kind of music, but it was very strange, since the business doesn't advertise being religiously affiliated in any way. I had considered reserving the back room for a professional meeting I would be holding in July, but changed my mind upon hearing this music. In particular, I have a member of my team that is Jewish, and I wouldn't want her to feel uncomfortable or unwelcome in the space. I would suggest that Converge choose more neutral music to encourage a wider diversity of people to come and work/eat/visit there. read more

I've visited this coffee bar several times in the past and it's been great customer service, even if I get something and I didn't like it I never care because the people are friendly. My usual thing I always get is a green phoenix toast with slice avocado and the cream cheese spread. Today I ordered it and it looked different. I was hesitant to say something but the toast is a bit expensive so I said something. The barista was very rude. She told me I ordered it wrong and basically was very dismissive. I said I ordered it several times before and she proceeded to tell me it doesn't come like that. She never apologized, or even offered a correction. I work in customer service and she exhibited no customer service at all towards me. She was dismissive and treated me coldly. I may not visit this establishment again. Her cold dismissive demeanor was harsh and rude. The young lady who took the order was very pleasant though. read more

We were in town for a conference and swung by here a few times - staff was Super nice, very clean and the coffee was yummy. I tried the cappuccino one time and drip coffee another. The kombucha selection was also so good. Great place to hang and sip coffee or to grab a coffee and run. read more

I decided to stop by yesterday after running some errands, and I am so glad I tried something new! The shop is beautifully decorated and well-lit. The atmosphere is a perfect mix of modern geometric pieces and reclaimed barn wood, vintage doors, and other vintage/handmade items. Everything is cleaned immaculately. Something that I really appreciated was that two of the owners were working as the baristas that day. They were both extremely friendly and enthusiastic about the coffee. We chatted for a while and I learned a lot about the coffee, as well as the shop itself. I didn't get to try any of the pastries, but they all looked delicious and there are quite a few savory options as well. They are reasonably priced and locally sourced! Now for the best part! The COFFEE! It was delicious. I had the salted rosemary honey latte and OMG! It was like nothing I've ever had before. They also have a couple other really unique flavors, but not an overwhelming amount of syrups. Quality over quantity is the case here! I also tried a bit of their Costa Rican coffee (delicious!) and the espresso which was perfect. Over all, I highly recommend this place if you're looking to support an honest, family-owned business with top-notch product. read more

I am from out of state and my best friend who is a local has been hyping this place up for weeks! I came in with a lot of expectations, and I walked out feeling no disappointment at all. I am not a coffee drinker, but I love a nice cup of tea. I tried one of the spring specials and am greatly enjoying sipping my drink currently. Aesthetic of the place is lovely and the staff was super kind. If I lived in town this would definitely be the place I would come to spend an afternoon with a good book! read more

Converge Coffee Roasters - Tea - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Burlington, North Carolina

Really shitty employees and espresso, I don't know why I come back to this place, seems to get worse every time I go back.

Really glad I decided to stop in here and check this new coffee shop out! Open for a bit over 1 week, Converge offers a retail front for local coffee roaster Alamance Kaffee Werks. The shop is bright and modern and offers a menu board with visuals for their array of espresso-based beverages detailing ratio of espresso:milk/foam/water for each drink. I tried their seasonal drink, a salted rosemary honey latte. All of their syrups are made in house, and the difference in taste is evident. Each sip offered a blast of fresh rosemary flavor with the perfect hint of sweetness to balance the savory herb. Prices are very reasonable, with the seasonal latte total coming out to $4.12. For those who are interested in bringing a cup of Converge coffee home, the shop's owners offer several types of their fresh-roasted coffee to-go. They also offer a handful of baked goods to pair perfectly with their coffees in addition to a small amount of non-caffeinated beverages. I got to chat with the owners during my visit, and they could not have been more helpful or friendly. Converge is slated to have a grand opening on 8/24/18 and are offering drip coffee on the house during the morning hours of that day. Excited to see what the future holds for this shop. read more

we love this place, the coffee is excellent! the only complaint is, while I'm so appreciative that they have gluten free options (I have celiac) it's an extra charge which I am used to, but the bread slices are half the size of normal and therefore I'm paying extra for half a serving. what they should do is take the serving of toppings and divide between two pieces of bread to be equal to the non gluten free orders read more

Such a neat fined!! Love the happy vibes here Come and check this place out! Delicious coffees and treats !

BEST coffee in Alamance/Guilford County. Beans are locally roasted...syrups are made in house. Please do NOT take your service anywhere else but here. I'm from Atlanta, GA, and I am in town today to visit family. I've studied coffee a lot over the past four years...been to a lot of coffee shops in downtown Atlanta and Nashville, TN. THIS SHOP KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Unlike a lot of local coffee shops, it doesn't just look great inside...the coffee tastes great. The coffee beans are harvested one city away...the syrups are made in house. COME HERE. Forget about all the other local coffee shops...this is the only one you will want to come to. read more
