More costly than what they were when I was in college, but still the same delightful taste, the store turns on the hot light sign and I am there. Before we even left the parking lot, half the dozen was gone. The melt in your mouth factor of the fresh from the grease doughnut lets me know that heaven is real. The employees were kind and fast, minimizing the cool down period of the doughnut. Normally, we would eat inside, but due to the weather, we opted to eat in the car. The interior was clean and looked like all other Krispy Kreme's I've been to recently. I'm looking forward to eating more tomorrow, although you can't replicate the doughy inside right now, but if you nuke it for 8 seconds and add a cup of coffee, it's as good as you can get under those circumstances.

It took forever to get our drinks and our donuts because the poor girl was left to struggle alone. Poor staffing decisions. Two employees just sat down on their phones while one girl worked alone making all the in house orders. They only got up to do drive through orders, then sat back down. Lazy.

If you know me, then you already know my love language is donuts and this place understands me on a…read morespiritual level. The first time I found this spot, I was so obsessed I was literally coming here every single day (no shame at all). The donuts are always fresh, beautifully made and dangerously delicious. Every visit tastes just as amazing as the last, which says a lot because consistency is everything. Beyond the donuts, the customer service is always phenomenal and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality you're getting. At this point, it's become a tradition anytime I'm heading to visit family in Florida, I have to stop here and grab a dozen to bring with me. Safe to say these donuts now have fans in multiple states. Highly recommend if you're looking for a treat that's worth every bite.

So it was a no-brainer that I stopped by, especially since they live in Durham. I stopped in about 2 PM on a Friday and they have practically sold out of most things, which is not unlikely. There's often a long line when they open to get fresh donuts. I got a red velvet doughnut, an apple fritter, and a regular cruller. They were so light and airy and practically melted in your mouth. I could see how dangerous it would be if I lived closer I would probably stop every week! It's a family owned restaurant so it was nice to see them all working together and all smiles. I really loved that. They were super helpful in suggesting their favorite items and encouraging me to come again so I can try their different options. I'll definitely be back-thanks NC Jelly Donuts for a great first experience!

They were gone quickly. We wanted more nachos after we finished. A classic nacho topped with stewed chicken meat and so flavorful. The esquite (street corn) was delicious and creamy with hints of spices. My favorite was the Fresca Crema, made from fresh cut strawberries, house made whipped cream and cream. It is fresh, creamy, and balanced - very refreshing on a sunny afternoon. My crew enjoyed smoothies as well. The mini donuts were served hot and should be eaten immediately because of the toppings. They were so tasty and fresh. This is a food truck and a brick and mortar that is being renovated at the moment. It's very spookily decorated for Halloween currently and you can sit inside if you'd like. Bathrooms aren't working inside yet, but there are porta potties outside that are pretty clean. An outdoor seating area with a fire pit and heating lamps is provided as well. We enjoyed hanging out in the outdoor seating area as we tried our treats.

I will start by say the customer service was top notch. The young man went out of his way to suggest options for me. I ended up trying an assortment of mini Doughnuts and a strawberry banana smoothie. The doughnuts were part of the event but goodness were they good. My favorite was the "s'mores" looking one. They were fresh, warm and chewy. I even shared one with my grandma and mom and they said they were the best doughnuts they have ever had. Better than a local town favorite (hint hint - Krispy Kreme). The smoothie was awesome because it was make with real fruit of course and alkaline water which was neat. Dairy can sometimes not sit right with me so this was a blessing to find. It was a little on the sweet side so I'm hoping next time I go I can request not as sweet. I am just absolutely blown away by the care, freshness, and hospitality of this food truck. I think I'll stop on my way home from work tomorrow and treat myself to a little Friday pick me up. I've already told all my friends and family they have to go here! If you ever stop by you better grab a doughnut!!

I had a…read morecraving for Indian and one my fellow yelpies recommended this place and told me they reopened the lunch buffet. I decided to try it out. It was very muggy inside to the point that the floors were slippery and I had to be careful walking. The buffet itself was lacking. Many of the dishes had no labels and there were no gloves for the shared utensils. Also, they are using plastic plates for the buffet. I tried a little of everything and the fried items were cold and old. The vegetarian dishes were also lukewarm. The chicken biryani was cold and the rice was crunchy. The butter chicken was very sweet. To the point I didn't recognize it. Most of the food was sweet. They brought out one naan. That was very salty and I couldn't finish it. Overall everything tasted modified and not authentic. There was only one sauced item with meat and that was butter chicken. The only other protein option was tandoori chicken so you won't have any options if you don't care for chicken. There was one chick pea dish, a potato dish, an okra dish, a veggie stir fry and that was pretty much it for mains. Overall I think they would fare better expanding their buffet. I would have rather ordered off the main menu. The staff was attentive and friendly. It's not the same lively and homey place I remember and frequented often when they first opened. Will I go back? That's a real tough question. To order off the menu, I might. But then I remember the last few visits and second guess the possibility. I would not come back for the buffet. There's plenty of parking in a shared lot. Maybe a fall hazard for those with assistive devices or mobility issues. The floor is clean but the humidity caused it to be very slick.

I thought the price was appropriate for adults, not so much for kids who eat very little. I loved their rice and chicken dishes. I would definitely return.
