Came over an hour before closing on a Friday night. Was here specifically for the döner - closed. Not cool

Came here specifically for the döner and it's closed over an hour early on a Friday Usually a great spot but have been jacked by the hours more than once

I've been here a couple of times and got the chicken bowl. Better than chipotle. Will be back.

Drm Wrap

While shopping, we got hungry and because this place had decent reviews, we stopped by. We ordered a wrap and salad -- Each had similar ingredients -- meat, vegetables, a bit of kick, and some sauce. I thought the salad was good and my husband said the wrap was as well. It's no frills with pick up and bring to open seating, but it quick, and they had a some good beverages to accompany it. At industry city, it's not a bad option.

Chicken Döner

This was the best chicken döner I've ever had. The slaw, chicken, turkish pita, everything was perfect. The bread tasted fresh, the slaw was refreshing, the chicken was juicy and flavorful. The feta added the salty, the sauces added depth. I wish there was this place in Florida because I will crave this until I can get one in Turkey (married into a turkish family).

Lunch with my fave Girls.

Still one of my favorite places to grab lunch at. Always delicious and fresh. Surprisingly as many times as I get food from here; the taste and quality never seem to fail me. (Many times when you order from the same establishment they have "OFF" days) but not my Kotti :)

Industry City location in Bklyn

I took a special trip to Industry City in BK from Jackson Heights, Queens on January 3, 2022. After my grocery shopping at Sahadis and the Japanese grocery store at Japan Village, time to get my kebab fill at Kotti. I had my 'go to' Chicken Kebab sandwich. What made it great was Ali, the counter lady. She had great Customer Service. She was very short staff that day but she was still in great spirits. We had a good talk of my love of Germany. I went crazy eating Turkish food when I was there on my 2nd vacay in 2006. Will be back again soon. Like that they had indoor seatings because I didn't want to freeze my assets eating my kebab.

It's worth of Eat as Brooklyn exclusive since I don't see this place nor eat doner kebab like this in The city. I like this thick chewy bread a lot! Great combination with meat and veggies.

Slider

Wanted to try something different in IC. Staff wasn't very friendly, but they had a doner slider for $5 so a great snack! We got all the toppings and they were tasty. I'd check out the other menu items next time. Pro tip: grab a beer at the Burger Joint next door while you wait for you food!

We were so happy to come across the food stand version of this place at a street food fair across from the Macy's at Penn Station. We ordered the chicken on a Turkish bread. The bread was so amazing - crisp, fresh and delicious. The chicken was perfectly marinated with lots of different little veggies on top. The bread, sauce and chicken were all so great, making this chicken Mediterranean sandwich we've had. We definitely look forward to coming back the next time we are in New York! I am just happy I didn't let my still-digesting stomach talk me into buying another wrap (since 15 minutes later, I did find that I was indeed full).

Good restaurant to come in with the family but also great for take out, and the quality and consistency is always top notch. The mante is seasoned so well and it's always fresh to order and one of my favorite dishes of all time. The food is very palatable as it's not spicy and you get a great value for your money. It's also halal and a great option in the area or if you're looking to explore and try some classic afghan food!

I stumbled upon this place on a random afternoon cycling in the rain to get a haircut nearby. You…read morewould miss it on busy Coney Island Avenue if you weren't looking for it -- the only reason I did was because I was checking for baking supplies at the nearby Ideal Supermarket. The only thing that betrays the hidden nature of Dunya Kabab House is the brilliant red sign. Upon closer inspection, you can see a warm dining area, glass partition to see "where the magic happens" in the kitchen behind, and the many articles plastered showing their unique take on Afghani food. I bookmarked the spot to come back to, and within the week, I came back and ordered takeout for the dish most fellow reviewers raved about -- the Uzbeki Qabuli Pulao. When I got home and opened the bag, I was pleasantly surprised to find a small side salad and the dish I recognised from a visit to another nearby restaurant specialising in Uzbeki food -- the plov! The rice was really well seasoned and the lamb shank was so tender it fell off the bone. Everything was really flavourful and well balanced, even for take-out. Unlike the other place, this plov was still sweet without being cloyingly so. I had such good impression that I'm excited to return in the future and try their other dishes, since I heard *everything* Dunya Kebab House does is impeccable.

Our server from…read moreMoldavia was friendly and attentive and suggested I try their most popular dish - the lamb lulya kebab which is ground lamb that is not overly spiced to allow one to taste the meat. It is served with rice and I found it to be a lighter than its Turkish equivalent. It was served with rice. We also ordered Turkish bread that was served warm. The dining area is comfortable and welcoming. Because this restaurant is set back from the Coney Island Avenue next to a liquor store it is easy to miss - but don't - it's excellent!

I ordered the Journey to Baku salad, the Turkish bread, and the Guru Khingal. The salad needed a pinch of salt, but there was a shaker on the table and with that addition, it was a decent refreshing appetizer. It's sort of a spread so I would recommend ordering some bread to eat with it. The bread came out steaming hot and smelling amazing. It was soft and fluffy on the inside and delicious. I took the extra home and ate it all immediately when I got there. Delicious bread. The Guru Khingal is honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten in New York City. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, as I have never eaten this type of food before. The tender, handcut pasta seems to be layered with flavorful lamb fat like the most decadent possible buttered noodles and the ground lamb topping is rich and perfectly seasoned. The yogurt sauce gives the dish balance. It's a fairly large portion that could easily be shared between two. I highly recommend this spot, the glowing reviews are not exaggerating at all. I often like to try new and unusual restaurants, and sometimes I enjoy them mostly for the novelty. That was not the case at Village Cafe. My meal here was delicious and I am eager to return, even with the 75 minute commute from north Brooklyn.
