Local favorite this side of Athens. Server had been there a minute. Highly recommend the Saganaki ( cheese they light on fire), spanikopita, dolmas, any of the dips, or Avgolemeno to start. Entree is up to you! Plenty of seafood (see the sign by the host's station), chicken, and meat options. We enjoyed the baklava for dessert. The music ranged from 2010's pop to Greek dance standards. Plenty of parking around the resto. It's an intimate place. Pending the time, you might want to call ahead and make reservations. Opa!

Amazing Greek food! Best tzatziki and pita I've ever had! The service is great and the food is so good. We love coming here! The combo for 2 is the best item to get on the menu

This food is amazing! Some of the best greek food around. Service is great, makes you feel right at home. The vibe of this restaurant is great and you feel cozy knowing it's family owned. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting authentic greek food!

Delicious Greek / Mediterranean food off Greenville. I live pretty close to Kostas' and have actually been once years ago. I always forget about this spot as it is an unassuming standalone blue building off Greenville. Upon entering, you quickly realize that the exterior scene does not match the interior! On the outside the building appears a little run down. But on the inside, diners are treated to a small piece of Greece! Blues and whites along with very well appointed tables. The hosts are super friendly. I came for lunch with a friend and we had a great time. We started with the calamari. It was super tasty and not overcooked / rubbery like a lot of places. One unique thing is it was served with some kind of butter sauce instead of the usual marinara. We then each got gyro dishes. I got the gyro platter with a side salad and my friend got the gyro salad. Both were served with thinly sliced gyro meat. The meat itself was flavorful and super tasty. Not like the thicker, almost crispy stuff you get at other more casual Greek style spots. The salads were also delicious. Doused in some kind of house dressy they were not creamy so still tasted healthy! All in all Kostas is a great spot in the area that I need to stop passing over!

If you want traditional Greek food, then go to Kostas Cafe! This long standing restaurant brings authentic Greek culture and cuisine all the way from Greece to Dallas. The food tastes mouthwateringly good with bold flavors and the chefs cook everything to perfection! Our group ordered take out but upon going to the restaurant to pick up our order, we enjoyed fast and friendly service as well as a lovely traditional Greek dance performance. I did not take a picture of everything we ordered but, it all looked and tasted wonderful!

Great Greek food. Everything (wine, chicken, green beans, hummus, baklava, salad, calamari, pita bread) was so yummy. Highly recommend.

Found out about Kostas via TIKTOK and wow. To start Donna is so sweet and immediately sat us. We ended up ordering the Kostas for two, and the soup was my FAVORITE. So thankful I tried it. The sagnaki and tzatziki was delicious. Now for the main course, the shrimp was cooked perfectly! The lamb lollipops were DELICIOUS. Along with the chicken and beef! Nothing missed, all the flavor was here. We Will absolutely be back!

The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent. I highly recomend this restaurant.

Not quite dressed appropriately for the atmosphere but I love my lil hideaway corner

If you want authentic Greek food and you want to feel like you're actually in an authentic Greek restaurant hanging with the locals, this is the place for you! I recommend Jimmy as your waiter, he'll treat you to some nice conversation, and some great wine. The white table clothes on candlelit tables paired with the dim lighting and soft music create a super romantic (albeit usually this is my weekly solo dinner date with myself with the entertainment of Kosta and Jimmy) atmosphere that I'm sure a couple would enjoy. Fr this is my favorite spot to eat. Atmosphere aside, the menu is literally straight from Mykonos. As a tzatziki snob, this one lands. I'll be back again...and again and again and again :)

Amazing coffee spot in a cool Walnut Hill complex…read more I like the vibe here and their coffee is always on point. I've only been during the day and always spend a little time working before a coffee meeting. The WiFi is always good and the coffee is great. The ambiance is very open and inviting as well. They serve small bites as well but I haven't really partaken. Additionally, I think they have several beers on tap and they appear to all be cool local brews. If you're looking for a good local coffee shop with a vibe, this may be your new spot!!

This coffee shop has quietly become my Dallas work-week crush…read more It's conveniently close to the office I'm using while I'm here, but the real draw is the vibe. Beautiful sunshine pours through big windows, there's a lovely park right outside, and the light is so good it feels like the café equivalent of a good hair day. Dallas weather helps, obviously--but this place knows how to use it. The space is lively without being chaotic. Plenty of outdoor seating, lots of indoor seating, and a very reasonable three-hour Wi-Fi window that keeps people working instead of camping. It feels intentional. People come here to stay, not hover in line. Speaking of which--there's never a line. They're clearly well staffed, everyone's efficient, and everyone is genuinely nice. Now, pastries. This is where they shine. A lot of unique options you don't see everywhere, and everything I tried was excellent. The almond croissant? Fantastic. The blueberry cake? A must-get. I went two days in a row (because obviously), and on day one they told me it was their most popular item. Day two, by 11 a.m., it was completely gone and kept selling out as soon as they tried to restock. That alone tells you what you need to know. The matcha is good--made from scratch, which I appreciate. Is it the best matcha I've ever had? No. It's better than Local Johnny's, but not quite on the level of Marin Coffee Roasters or Ralph & Rose. Still very drinkable and enjoyable, especially if you're settling in to work. What really sets this place apart is its personality. It doesn't feel like a cookie-cutter café or "insert minimalist coffee brand here." There's charm. Character. A little whiteboard with a joke about New Year's resolutions that made me smile. Small details, but they matter. Would I come back? Absolutely. I already did--twice. I'd recommend it especially for locals looking for a solid work spot, co-working with a friend, or anyone who wants to be productive without being bothered. If you're visiting Dallas briefly, this might not be a destination café--but if you're here for a bit and want a reliable, pleasant, sunny place to work and snack, this one's a yes.

You can tell this place really shines on a nice day or summer evening--it feels like an ideal spot to grab a few beers with friends and settle in for a while. Fun side note: the name "Manhattan Project" is a nod to the historic WWII project, which fits since they started as a brewery first and built a reputation around thoughtful, well-crafted beer before expanding more into coffee. I went with the tres leches latte and it absolutely delivered. Not overly sweet at all, which I really appreciated, and it gave me the caffeine boost I needed after the run without feeling heavy. The breakfast sausage sandwich was a standout surprise. Way better than expected. The bread, egg, and extra cheese all worked perfectly together, and if you're a fan of a runny yolk, this is a must-order. There is a cute little food truck outside that offers tacos, queso, quesadillas, etc. I ordered the veggie street tacos and queso and chips (not pictured).
