Celestial Beerworks is a very cute, chill spot with good drinks and decent prices. Parking is available in the street or in lot across the street, but can be dicey so plan ahead to get a spot. We stopped by tonight for trivia, and had a blast! The taproom is right off Inwood Road and it feels very city. Between the train cars crossing the bridge overhead to the activity in the bar, I definitely think Celestial Beerworks has the right vibe for what it offers. I ordered the Strawberry Lemonade sour, and it was very good! Not as sour as some others I've tried, but was definitely tasty nonetheless. My other friends enjoyed their drinks as well. There is a cute little food truck outside that offers tacos, queso, quesadillas, etc. I ordered the veggie street tacos and queso and chips (not pictured). Bit expensive for the amount of filling in the tortillas in my opinion ($2.5 / street taco, $6 queso and chips) but was tasty nonetheless. I appreciated the sauces on the side but ultimately would have liked more kick to them. It's Texas, baby, bring on the spice! Food takes a LONG time, which is nice when you want to sit down and have a few drinks, but not too great if you show up pretty hungry! Stopped by on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon and knew I had to enjoy a beer outside. Found this spot through Yelp reviews and it might honestly be one of my top breweries in DFW now. Their hazy IPA selection is amazing. They are super juicy and packed with flavor. I especially loved the Hopception. There were so many great options to choose from, it was hard to decide. Stopped by Celestial Beerworks to grab a quick beer while exploring Dallas. This is a great brewery if you enjoy IPAs specifically. When you arrive parking can be a little tricky as you're next to the dart station, but there is plenty of parking on the street if you don't mind parallel parking. When you walk in, you're transported into kind of a retro vibe with disco balls hanging from the ceiling and fun wall art. To order you'll walk to the counter and place the beer you'd like to order. I ordered the triple stars which is a hazy triple IPA with citrus strata, and Vic's secret. Heard about Celestial when they release the Fred Thirst beer and then realized I was going to Dallas for a conference a few weeks later. Celestial was my first stop after dropping my things at the hotel. It's sort of in what felt like the middle of nowhere but isn't that where the best spots always are?! The space has a lot more seats inside than I expected, as well as outdoor seating. I had a few delicious hazy IPAs and the purple Ube beer, they are the only brewery I came across that made a hazy IPA suitable for me. I'm from New England and we're known for our hazy bois. I talked to the gentleman working about Allagash brewing for a bit and got 2 four packs and 2 cans of their flavored hopped water to go. In retrospect I should have gotten more beer for the hotel room because this was by far the best beer I had in Dallas. Highly recommend!! read more

Finally made it back to Celestial, and I can confirm that this is still an amazing brewery! As of August 2025, the menu skews very IPA heavy. If IPAs are your jam, then you will love it here. They also have sours, a Pilsner, and a stout available. I got a flight with the Eternal Shadows (stout), Ube Tropic (sour), and Paradise Garage (New England IPA), all of which I loved. Celestial is a gem! They make the hazy, flavorful IPA's that I look for when going to a brewery. I always start out with a flight here so that I can try the new beers. After that I move on to having a full size glass. They offer a variety of different beer types. This allows everyone you're with to grab a style beer that they prefer. They also have a gold truck out back called the cosmic cantina if you're hungry. They offer indoor and outdoor seating for whichever you'd prefer when visiting. There's no parking lot so you will have to park on the street but I've always managed to find parking without any issues. read more

Best brewery in DFW!! The beer quality is superb. The beers all have a crispness to them that speaks to quality in the brewing process, maybe to the water. Anyway, huge fan. Prolly 80% of the selection at our visit were Hazy. And they were creative with that motiv!! Rock what you are good at, and they good at hazy. Also, their coffee stout is superior. Finally, shout out for this super inventive and interesting Ubé beer. We loved it. The flights are big: served as three 8 ounce glasses in plastic bins. The interior is super hip and trendy with a throwback vibe. There is great outdoor seating as well. The restrooms are gender neutral- applause! It's very family friendly. On our visit kids could purchase a craft kit. A cooler has non-alcoholic and snacks to purchase. A great pairing is the Celestial food truck with amazing food. Seriously good stuff here. And veg options too!! I had veg huaraches while my companion had a flight of street tacos. Yum. We bought package beer to go cuz yum. And Celestial is on the Dart so perfect! The interior is cute and small, great for small and large groups alike. Beer pretty good. But the highlight was the food truck just out the back of this place! I met some friends for trivia night. I started with the Ube Pina.... a purple beer! I wasn't sure about it but the bartender let me sample it first. It's like a pina colada meets a beer, so delicious!! I also tried the Echo Chamber - Blackberry Lemonade. It was also good, definitely less sweet than the Ube. There was plenty of seating inside and outside. It's a very friendly bar; I noticed they won awards for "neighbor bar feel", "best community", etc. The area isn't the greatest, but there's some street parking available. read more

Went here on a Sunday with maybe 10 total people inside. Ordered a flight and sat down. Went to the register and asked what they had for food where he directed me to the food truck (amazing tacos btw). I went out and ordered from it and by the time I got my food and went back inside, my beer was gone and assumed to be dumped out. I only drank about half of it... I just don't understand the need to clear the tables knowing I had just ordered the flight 10 mins prior and obviously was the person outside at the truck. Found some street parking nearby. Though if it's busy it looks like it might be hard to find where to park. Quaint inside with a super fun cosmic theme! Fun artwork and mural throughout. Gender neutral restrooms, yay! Dogs are allowed inside, super plus. They even had dog merch! Beer selection was made for IPA lovers like me. Wish I had the bandwidth to try them all! I've been to a lot of breweries and this may be my new all time favorite. From the great beer menu which has a lot of variety of my favorite beer style (NEIPAs) to the Mexican food truck outside, this place checks all the boxes. The Mexican food truck outside is so so good. I got a chicken quesadilla and my wife got street tacos and chips + guacamole. All fantastic! The beers were really good too. My favorite was the double New England ipa. Smooth citrus and juicy made for the perfect beer. I also liked that they offer almost all their beers as single cans to go. Dudes & dudettes, y'all need to come check this place out. We came on a rainy day and right when they opened. First customers! An hour later, the place was packed! Masks are enforced and the tables are spaced respectfully, so that's nice. Beers are cold and delicious. Also, they cater bbq starting later in the day. Tucked away in the Medical District, Celestial is not a brewery to miss! - Atmosphere: Celestial has a small, indoor area that can surprisingly fit more people than you think! Dogs are welcome inside and out. The beer options are prominently displayed above the bar so you always know what's on tap. They have a tv in case you're looking for a low key spot to watch a game. Next door to a DART station, there are often Mavs and Stars fans visiting for pre-game beers. Outside, there are a number of picnic tables as well as their taco truck. The most important thing to note about Celestial's atmosphere is how friendly people are! I love attending their Thursday night trivia and many people come solo and find a team to join. In addition to trivia, Celestial has many fun events going on each week, so I recommend checking the calendar on their website before you visit! - Service: The employees at Celestial are always friendly and can point you in the right direction when it comes to beer. Sometimes a line forms at the bar on busy nights, but they move through people quickly. The new-ish addition of the taco truck has been great and you can expect your order to come out very quickly! - Drinks: I love the creativity of Celestial's beer selection. They keep their tap list up to date on Untappd so you always know what to expect. They typically have a strong selection of IPAs, but as someone who strays away from those I typically have plenty of options. I always love trying their latest smoothie sour, which they serve up as ice cream on the weekends. If you're not a beer person, they have other alcoholic drinks as well as their non-alcoholic sparkle water that's a must try! It's a sparkling water infused with hops and lemon, but it doesn't taste like a hoppy beer, it just tastes refreshing. I always pick up a few cans for home every time I visit. - Value: Nothing at Celestial is too pricey, so it's a great place to have a few drinks and tacos without breaking the bank.
