The vodka is amazing. The company is even better. If you have 10 minute or 2 hours to swing by here, I'd highly recommend.

Fun place for an afternoon stop on the way to Love Field. Lee was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about his delicious vodkas.

We arrived shorty before our scheduled time, and the distillery was just opening. Don (co-owner) welcomed me and told us to come on in. The space is very welcoming, and we immediately felt comfortable. We were fortunate enough that Don took care of us. He told us about the beginnings of the distillery, how he and his partner got started, and how they have continued to evolve. Their attention to details are unmatched. Their gin, bourbon, and vodka were all top-notch, and we were very impressed by the personalized tour. Don's passion and knowledge made the experience truly memorable. We learned so much about artisan products, and the efforts that go into making them. I strongly recommend this experience to others. Their spirits taste really good. We could've stayed longer, as comfortable as Don made us feel. We were able to sample most of their products and we had two amazing cocktails each. We purchased the Artisanal Gin, the Barrel Finished Gin, and the Blended Bourbon. My wife surprised me with a bottle of the Blended Bourbon, and Don presented it in a very nice gift bag. He actually dedicated the bottles to us and signed them. We're looking forward to bringing our friends for another visit soon. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and recommend a tour to any spirits enthusiast!

But let's talk about that outdoor seating--perfectly covered so you can catch a breeze without melting in this Texas heat It's the kind of setup where you can actually enjoy being outside. Parking: Easy win. Free parking right in front and on the side of the building... no stress, no circling, no drama. Food & Drinks: BABY... those deviled eggs?! To. Die. For. Perfect balance--savory, a little sweet, and just enough kick to keep it interesting. I could've ordered another round and not felt bad about it. And the tap Old Fashioned?! Smooth, strong, and honestly underpriced for how good it is. Don't question it--just order it. Service: Fast, attentive, and genuinely friendly. No waiting around, no chasing anyone down... they stayed on it without being overbearing. Final verdict: Great vibes, great food, great drinks, and great service. The "wine…read moretasting room" is very cute and there are also little goodies for sale, like candles and gummy wine infused dinos (!!!). There's also a good selection of cheesecakes which sounded interesting but we didn't try them. Staff was very friendly in giving recommendations and describing each wine. Tried a few recommended wines (each person can sample 2 for free) and they were just okay for me. Lots of fruity wines and some seasonal flavors like gingerbread which was interesting. I liked the lime with coconut the most, but didn't love any enough to buy a glass or bottle. We ended up getting the cheese board, which was $18 and came with crackers and a good selection of cheeses, meats, nuts and mustard dip. Adding some grapes would've been amazing!

First let me say that April is their peak time (because it's blue bonnet season and folks are out and about) so they charge a fee to park. We arrived near closing time yet they were kind enough to welcome us in and allow us to look around. We also decided to grab a glass of wine while we walked around looking. I will honestly say that I am NOT a wine snob, I couldn't tell ya a good glass from a bad glass but I don't like dry and I don't usually like reds. With that said I was given some suggestions and for what it's worth, I'd drink it again. We were offered to purchase some cheesecake but without seeing what I was getting and told $11, I passed on it. I will say that the souvenir "glass" that I paid for was disappointing, come to find out it's a plastic cup, however I was told it "floats in the pool" but I'll never know because I don't own a pool to sip and float in. So most the folks out in the yard were wine tasting and seemed to be enjoying what they had. I had one couple who actually went down the list letting me know what their favorites were and why (I took notes). This is a cute little spot off the beaten path. I must say that I'm thankful for a restroom but I'm never a fan of portable potty's and unfortunately this was the only option at the time. If I'm out this way again, I'll make a stop and try a wine flight to see if the other wines live up to the hype.

I booked the Texas Wino Tour for my birthday celebration, and unfortunately, this was one of the…read moremost disappointing and embarrassing experiences I have ever had with a tour company. The day before our scheduled tour, after my friends had already paid and made plans, we were informed that our pickup and drop-off location had changed. That alone was frustrating and unprofessional because it created unnecessary inconvenience for a birthday event that had already been planned and paid for. On the day of the tour, we were picked up in a Sprinter van that had no working air conditioning, had an unpleasant smell, and appeared to have mechanical concerns. We also noticed that the engine light was on. What made this even more concerning was that we were told the pickup/drop-off location had changed because the other Sprinter van had mechanical issues. After we left the first winery, we noticed that the warning light appeared to have been covered with black electrical tape. That was extremely concerning and made us feel uncomfortable about the safety and professionalism of the transportation. The tour itself was also not what was advertised or expected. We were supposed to visit three wineries, but we only visited two. There was no real tour guide experience. The driver stated that he would be both the driver and the tour guide, but he barely said anything the entire time. When I asked him about the air conditioning, his response was, "This is as good as it gets." That was shocking and unacceptable, especially considering the cost of the tour and the fact that this was supposed to be a special celebration. The second winery, Pemberton Winery, was a terrible experience. The wine tasted spoiled, sour, and unpleasant, almost like apple cider vinegar. Several people in our group were concerned about the quality and safety of what we were being served. The person presenting the wine also lacked warmth, personality, and hospitality, which made the experience even worse. At the very least, if the wine was not enjoyable, the customer service should have made up for it, but it did not. The food was also disappointing. The Italian meal did not taste like authentic Italian food. I ordered the white fish, and it was not good at all. The salad was good, the drinks were fine, and the gluten-free bread was good, but overall the meal did not meet expectations. Honestly, I would have preferred barbecue served on the winery lawn over the meal we received. This tour did not feel classy, organized, or professional. There were no souvenir glasses, no engaging tour guide, no real hospitality, and no attempt to make the experience special. It felt like we were treated as though we had paid very little for the tour, when in reality this was a paid birthday celebration with a group of people who expected a quality experience. What makes this even more disappointing is that Texas Wino Tour never offered a discount, a partial refund, or any meaningful apology for the poor experience. Many people on the tour were complaining, and the entire experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. I was embarrassed because I had hyped this tour up to my friends for my birthday, and it did not come close to meeting expectations. My group handled the situation with class and poise, but this experience was unacceptable. Based on this tour, I would strongly recommend that anyone booking with Texas Wino Tour ask in advance about the exact wineries, transportation, air conditioning, tour guide, food, and what is actually included. Also, I would personally avoid Pemberton Winery based on our experience. This was not the birthday wine tour experience I expected, and I am extremely disappointed.
