10/25/25: My wife wanted to surprise me for our anniversary weekend and booked a distillery tour at New Artisan Distillery. We arrived shorty before our scheduled time, and the distillery was just opening. Don (co-owner) welcomed me and told us to come on in. The space is very welcoming, and we immediately felt comfortable. We were fortunate enough that Don took care of us. He told us about the beginnings of the distillery, how he and his partner got started, and how they have continued to evolve. Their attention to details are unmatched. Their gin, bourbon, and vodka were all top-notch, and we were very impressed by the personalized tour. Don's passion and knowledge made the experience truly memorable. We learned so much about artisan products, and the efforts that go into making them. I strongly recommend this experience to others. Their spirits taste really good. We could've stayed longer, as comfortable as Don made us feel. We were able to sample most of their products and we had two amazing cocktails each. We purchased the Artisanal Gin, the Barrel Finished Gin, and the Blended Bourbon. My wife surprised me with a bottle of the Blended Bourbon, and Don presented it in a very nice gift bag. He actually dedicated the bottles to us and signed them. We're looking forward to bringing our friends for another visit soon. My partner and I found ourselves with a few hours on a Friday afternoon and we wanted what any other young couple wants - a few drinks to kill the time. I stumbled across this spot from Yelp and when I drove up, I thought there was no way this was a bar we wanted to be at. When I arrived, I was kindly greeted a worker named Ray. What followed over the next two hours was an experience that made our weekend. New Artisan Distillery obviously distills their own liquor - vodka, gin and bourbon - and they have a tasting room/bar where you can test this liquor out. The gin was our favorite because of how smooth it was. What was neat was after we tasted each of the liquors, Ray then made us custom drinks from herbiage in their front gardens. Each drink was handmade and only $12/each. He did a tremendous job explaining how this liquor company came to be, how their logo/bottle was designed and the background of their spot. Ray made the experience very fun and it was a great spot to stumble on. Highly recommend. read more

If I lived in Dallas, I'd go broke because of this distillery. As it is, I'm going to order a bunch of bottles to be delivered to me. Don, the co owner, is super knowledgeable about liquor. They really approach gin and bourbon from a direction that I've never seen before. The cocktails were among the best I've ever had. The location is ok. It's in an industrial park, but the lights and sign out front let you know what you're getting into. We reserved a tour and tasting. Harry, their puppy greeted us first. He was a super friendly dog. Don introduced the bottles and let us know the ingredients of the gin and the vodka. After the tasting, he made an incredible cocktail. The tour of the distillery was almost an after thought. But that's ok. We had such a good time talking to everyone and trying the various cocktails. Any time I'm in Dallas, I'll stop here. read more

We sought out this distillery for something new to try on a Saturday afternoon. While the location is industrial and made us wonder if we were heading to the right place, we found it great once we got inside. While they don't serve food, we found the drinks with their ROXOR branded liquor to be fabulous. Our experience was helped by a friendly, helpful bartender, and an engaging member of their management team helping us understand their history and process. I can't say I've ever been a gin drinker and this place changed my mind! Their gin had a really smoooooooooth finish. We also liked their vodka and bourbon so we bought bottles to keep enjoying at home. As for ambiance, the bar area is cozy and they feature a few TVs. They host events in the back where they distill and also give tours (which we didn't do this visit). read more

I was sooooo sad my first visit to Dallas was just a day trip and i didnt have a bag to check! I really wanted to take home so many things guess I just have to order them online! One of my favorite things to do when I visit a new city or state is try a local distillery. New Artisan came up as it was on my route to the airport at the end of my day so I popped in. The space is pretty and the bottles themselves are a work of art! i thought this would be a quick visit in and out for me to try a few things but I made fast friends with locals and stayed for awhile. There was so much knowledge and care put into the spirits and you can tell by the way they described each tasting! The botanical gin was great but the botanical bourbon was something ive never had before! As a girl who has tried a lot of bourbons (see my bourbon trail reviews) it was different in a very special way. Its so hard for me to describe so all i can say is get to Dallas and try it for yourself! read more

This AMAZING distillery is a hidden gem of Dallas for real! The vodka, gin, and bourbon were bar none from a taste perspective. Add in the amazing personalized tour and service along with the bartender whose skills were on point! My friends and I have been to many distilleries around the area and this is now our new #1 spot! The highlight of my weekend getaway in Dallas was my tour at New Artisan Distillery. The distillery is owned and operated by a father and son, Don and Will, who are clearly passionate about creating and delivering extraordinary gin and bourbon. It's evident that Don and Will are fervid masterminds of their craft- Jobs and Wozniak vibes. Our tour was guided by Will, who thoroughly taught us about the process of creating gin and bourbon. We used all of our senses- We smelled all of the botanicals used in the creation, viewed the distilling processes, and tasted the bourbon and gin straight up and in cocktails. To my surprise, I genuinely enjoyed the gin, and have officially turned into a gin drinker. Will made a Tom Collins, which is now my new go-to drink. Luckily, I purchased a bottle after my tour. I ordered a Tom Collins at a bar the following day- it's now clear all gin is not created equally. I highly recommend going to New Artisan Distillery for a tour or going just to chill and have a drink. The interior is trendy, the art work is creative and atmosphere is vibrant. Don made the process of renting smooth and straight forward. I really like how Don responded quickly to my questions. He also went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! We held our son's rehearsal dinner here. There was plenty of space inside and outside. The yummy cocktails made with fresh botanicals were a guest hit. I would definitely use the venue again. I can't rave enough about the fantastic New Artisan Distillery in Dallas! As a huge fan of craft spirits, I was thrilled when I heard about this place and knew I had to check it out. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this was something special. The tasting room has a cool, laid-back vibe. The passionate and genuine owner immediately greeted me and toured me around the distillery and through the impressive selection of their in-house botanical gin and bourbon. I was convinced by Don the owner to try their Gin, I'm not normally a Gin connoisseur but decided to try it, and was absolutely blown away. It's smooth and complex with the perfect balance of sweetness and spice that lingers on the tongue. They really know what they're doing when it comes to aging and blending. I honestly think this is some of the best craft spirits I've ever tasted. In addition to the spirits, they also do craft cocktails using fresh, seasonal ingredients. The mixologist made me an incredible old-fashioned with their bourbon that just knocked my socks off. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their creative concoctions. read more

Since we're drinking already we stopped in at @roxorspirits. What a great place and impeccable service that will make this a staple in your crafted cocktail arsenal. Everything at the distillery is made in-house. If they can't make it..its not there. I asked for a cocktail that required basil and when. I turned around the mixologist was gone. Wayament! Did he just go outside to pick the basil? Why yes he DID!! That's how serious they are with making their cocktails. The herb garden is right in front of the building. Lots of interesting details and tour size is limited. I love hearing people talk about jobs they are passionate about. Tour includes Gin and Bourbon - one shot and one cocktail of each. Gin was designed to appeal to enthusiasts and non-gin lovers. I love gin, and the non-gin person in our party was pleasantly surprised that she liked it. Cocktails are hand crafted with eye to detail. Beautiful and delicious. I usually like bourbon neat but "The Godfather" was a nice change. While we were there a man came in that's a regular. He comes in most Fridays after work. I can see how nice that would be! Two shots and two cocktails is quite a bit so be prepared. One of our favorites--impressive from start to finish. Sooooo worth the drive from Parker County to Dallas. We were greeted by wonderful bartenders who created truly artisan drinks crafted from the gin and bourbon distilled on site. Their gin and bourbon and the drinks made with them are gourmet--like top notch, perfect. They made everything in house and even used mint and basil pulled right from their little organic garden in the front. They showed us how they distill the absolute BEST gin I have ever had, ROXOR, and drew a sample of an casked bourbon for my hubby. We bought a bottle of the bourbon, and it was signed, dated, and personally inscribed by the owner and tour guide. We buy only ROXOR gin. I am not a bourbon drinker, and I really enjoyed the ROXOR botanical bourbon. VISIT! You won't regret it! read more

Recently visited this place for a wedding. I would say it was a cute little spot for a young couple having a wedding. It's not very big for a large event. But It was cool seeing the place. He not only toured us around but explained the actual process of making them including the right temp, timing, smell etc. He also have us try a lot of different mixed drink including the flavors that were home made. Donald and Chef Robert are doing an outstanding job with their new establishment. We stopped by for a rather short notice tasting yesterday, and ended up staying 2 hours! Donald's hospitality is outstanding. They make the best gin I've ever had in my life, and I've been around the world a couple of times. He took the time to explain and sample some of the botanicals they use in their gin to give it the great flavor and texture that sets it on top. After tasting that we took a tour of the distillery itself and that was so interesting. There is as much art in the process as there is science. To finish up the afternoon we tried their bourbon and it was great. Again, another great explanation of how they mold the flavor of their spirits to make it so smooth and flavorful. This is a great place to take a group for a team building event or just "Date night" drinks like my wife and I did. We're looking forward to returning. A friend and I were in Dallas for business and decided to schedule a tour of the distillery and a tasting of their gin and bourbon. This is a small, family owned distilling operation and we were met and given our tour by the owner, Don. The distillery is very nice and Don led us through a discussion of how their gin and bourbon are made, along with samples from several of their offerings. In addition, Don made hand crafted cocktails for us using garnishes straight from their herb garden. We both ended up buying a bottle of their gin and of their bourbon as they were both excellent.
