As someone born and raised in Oak Cliff, I am so happy we finally have a brewery to call our own. This place truly feels like a neighborhood gem. The people are great, the vibes are immaculate, and the brews are always on point. It is one of those spots where you walk in and instantly feel welcomed. I also love that they sometimes offer memberships where you get your own handmade mug and discounted beer for the year. Such a cool touch that really adds to the community feel. They host plenty of events throughout the month and often have pizza or tacos being made on the spot. Good food and good beer is always a win. When there are big games, they set up a projector on the wall which makes the whole place come alive. It is such a fun atmosphere to watch with a crowd. Went there last Saturday With my wife and two of my adult daughters. The beer was good, had a nice atmosphere, and was quiet enough to talk to each other without yelling. Such a fun environment to be in with friends. Came here during a SpongeBob Trivia Night and it was a blast!! It was very crowded but it felt like a fun social party where we share similar interests. The hosts did a very good job hosting the event. Such cool people!!! The staff here are very friendly and do the their job very well. I looooove their paleta sour. It tastes sooo good I kept ordering it all evening. It is very similar to the actual Mexican popsicle in mango flavor. They also have a beer garden outside where you can order the same drinks as well as order delicious Mexican food. The tacos and quesadillas are amazing and they do give a lot. Love coming here. Bartender is always friendly and informative. I'm not much of a drinker but the craft beers they have are really tasty. Bartender explains what they taste like and helps you decide what to try. They have different fun things you can do like Bingo, Trivia and Lotería. Tacos and pizza are available on different days. I have been several times and each time had fun. Parking can be a little difficult. Arrive early to ensure a good spot. People here are friendly also. Plus sometimes they have live music. Cool brewery next door to to the Tyler Dart stop and inside of the Dixie Wax Paper Company building from the 1920s. Rather than knocking down the old building and putting in apartments the new owner is repurposing the building with retails outlets and this brewery. Their little biergarden is soo nice, with the twinkly lights, a little shack to get your beer at and a taco truck with music on in the background, plus you get views of the dart train too! Our fave beers where the Hefe and the black lager. We tried their coffee ale but it was a little syrupy. Definitely a nice little spot to grab a beer or two at. read more

The brewery just opened last September and they seem to be a doing a great business. There are a lot of really cool things about this place. First, they're located at the Tyler St. train stop. If I took the train into Dallas I'd stop off for a beer after work every week. Second, the place is clean, family friendly and food options are nearby which you can bring in. Third, the beer is very good! The blonde was a great choice for me and the hefeweizen was my husband's favorite. We had a great time drinking beer, playing fooseball and meeting our friends and plan to go back in the summer. It's about a mile from Bishop Arts so you can also visit that area as well. I loved seeing the different people hanging out and drinking beer. Local Oak Cliff hipsters, grand parents, kids, fancy folks dressed up for a night out, and people like me who picked it as a central meeting point convenient for everyone coming from different areas across the metroplex. I hope everyone in DFW tries it as least once and their business succeeds. Oh, one issue that I have to bring up, no glutten free beer. Got to stop in on opening weekend! There's quite a bit of parking around the corner for people to use. There's a cool mural that says "fresh beer" to mark the entrance! I had the hefeweizen and it was amazing, honestly one of the best I've had. I would definitely recommend it! I saw that they had sold out of an IPA in two days on their menu also, so it seems like that's a very popular one as well. We tried all the beers except for stout because I'm not a fan and one of their sold out brews. All were delicious and up to par. I always judge a brewery based on how memorable their beer is and if they're doing something different outside what everyone else is doing. So? They have very unique beers including a black lager that has a hint of a coffee taste. A mango house which has mango pulp and is quite tasty and fruity. Lastly my favorite a NE IPA with zero IBUs so smooth and tasty. I can't wait for what else they brew! They just opened so of course they have some things to work through till perfection. There's no food options at all not even bar snacks. So there's one area for improvement. We had a stroller and I couldn't find the ramp. Lastly since they share space with other venues you can easily not find parking if the event space next to them has an event. read more

Their beer is great in normal times, but the fact that I feel safe going there right now makes it even better. - Atmosphere: Oak Cliff Brewing set up a cute beer garden next to their parking lot, overlooking a river. Picnic tables are spread out so you can easily socially distance from other parties. It's dog friendly and there's a water jug so you can stay hydrated while you drink. There are also some covered tables on the walkway right outside the brewery. You can bring your own food or grab some from a food truck in the parking lot if one is there when you are. - Service: They have a small trailer outside the beer garden with a limited selection of beers, but you can get the full selection inside the brewery. They give you a snack with each beer purchase (e.g. chips, granola bars)! Everyone who works there is always friendly and helpful. - Beers: Their Hefeweizen is probably my favorite beer, it rivals the Live Oak Hefe. I also love both their Lager and Black Lager. Most recently, I've tried versions of their Paleta Weisse - Cucumber Lime and Jalapiña. I liked them both. The Cucumber Lime had a hint of salt, but was generally refreshing. The Jalapiña definitely has a kick and a more sour flavor. I'm not a fan of IPAs, but Lady Glasses is another popular option. - Value: They only have one size of beer right now, around a pint, and all in the $5-$7 range. Small little brewery located in what used to be a factory (Dixico Packaging for those in the neighborhood) along with some other small boutiques & artisian businesses. Parking can be a trick if you're driving something 'big',and you'll have to climb some stairs to get there. (I don't recall seeing a ramp,but that doesn't mean there's not one somewhere?) It also is easily accessible by DART rail,it happens to be at what's called the Tyler Street Station. It would probably even be a good place for informal/casual date if one or both of you like Beer. Also I don't think they serve food,only Beer,but there are Food Trucks (Roach Coaches) and Trailers on the parking lot/property where you can get something. Also saw someone bring in a Pizza & they said nothing about it,so I'm guessing they're OK with that as well. Has a good selection of the Craft Beers they make,the ones I tried (Which were like those I had while posted in Germany) were quite good,the only 'Ding' I can possibly give them is that the servings are a bit small for the prices that they are. I often take the train home on my weekly commute. All this time, I didn't realize there was a brewery on my route back. And it just so happened to be open so I decided to give it a try yesterday. They had a real good beer selection. The lee hazy Oswald was amazing. Same with their cucumber and mango paletta beers. All around they had a good selection. The people who work here are extremely friendly and helpful which is always a plus as well. They were real welcoming to a first timer. This brewery offers a great selection of house-made brews in an open warehouse style tap room with large pane windows opening up to the actual brewing operations filled with several very large beer tank. The wooden tables are inviting and there's a great selection of brews including their farmhouse ale, a saison. I had their hefeweizen which has great flavor and was so easy to drink. I can't wait to go back and try the saison when they have it back on tap. They had a special super dark beer called Name Drop that had coffee and cacao in it that was very good but a bit too heavy for me. They also have some brews like a very berry (pink, in fact) saison for those who like funkier stuff to try. Overall, I enjoyed myself. Good prices, good vibes. We hosted a bridal shower for a friend at the brewery. We really took over a corner of the brewery with decorations and food and the brewery was still happy to have us. Someone in our party had an unexpected medical emergency at the shower to where an ambulance was called and the staff at Oak Cliff Brewing couldn't have been better. Nice local place with great beer and laid back vibe. They rotate different beers on tap (Lee Hazy is a favorite) so you'll not always find the same thing. This is great spot to hang out with friends and take it easy. They project games on the wall inside on game days, and the small beer garden is perfect to sit in with your dog (or dogs) when the weather is nice. Oak Cliff Brewing has a nice spread of beers that you can sample,get beer flights, or commit to a tall pint. It's a large space with big screen tv, picnic tables with games available to you. They don't have any food but any app (Uber Eats or Favor) can easily bring you something near by from the Bishop Arts District. I was also told they're are food trucks that come by as well. They were open to having large parties to mix and mingle with all types of beer palates. The staff is knowledgeable with helping you pick a beer. The best thing is the brewery is on the rail line.
