We bought our tickets to the event when we arrived. Tickets for tours are also available. After walking through the store and the rows of wooden barrels from floor to ceiling, you find yourself in a small area with a big bar. The event price includes one cocktail of your choice. I chose the Oh Peachy and later purchased a pecan old-fashioned; both were delicious! Unfortunately, the food truck broke down, so there was no food available!! Big Mike was performing in the big lodge room; the acoustics are pretty bad, especially once people start talking, but at least it was cool in there, We spent a lot of time in the store and ended up purchasing a fused bottle of whiskey to split. It was fun, deciding which cork stopper to get to add to my daughter's collection. The store has different sizes and shapes of a wooden court display boards; in the shape of Texas. **Disappointing Experience at Hermann Marshall**…read more I attended a private event at Hermann Marshall on August 16th, held in their private party room. This was my third time attending a private event at Hermann Marshall, and unfortunately, it was the first time I experienced what I felt was inconsistent and disappointing service. As part of the event, the host offered complimentary mixed drinks served by Hermann Marshall staff. My server was Mary Ann, who I understand is married to the manager/owner. Mary Ann initially served me one complimentary Old Fashioned, which, as usual, was very good. About an hour later, I returned to the bar for another. At that point, Mary Ann placed her hand over the Old Fashioned dispenser and told me they were no longer serving complimentary drinks because the prepaid limit had been reached. She then told me I could purchase one if I wanted another drink. I had no issue with purchasing a drink, so I got my debit card and purchased a smoked Old Fashioned. What I found confusing, however, was that there appeared to be a significant amount of the premixed Old Fashioned remaining in the dispenser. Approximately an hour later, while getting food near the bar, I saw Mary Ann serve another attendee an Old Fashioned from the same container she had previously told me was no longer available for complimentary drinks. I asked Mary Ann why I had been charged for my drink while another attendee was still receiving complimentary Old Fashioneds. Her response was unclear, but she ultimately told me that if I wanted another drink, I would need to pay for it. From what I observed, however, other attendees were continuing to receive complimentary Old Fashioneds within the limit established by the party host. What made the situation particularly disappointing was not having to pay for a drink--I was perfectly willing to do that--but rather the inconsistent treatment and lack of transparency regarding how the complimentary drinks were being distributed. I have been a consistent patron of Hermann Marshall, attending Tuesday Bingo nights, happy hours, and other events, and I have also brought friends with me. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed, particularly given the circumstances surrounding the event. I believe all guests should receive consistent and transparent service, regardless of who they are. Based on this experience, I will no longer be supporting Hermann Marshall or recommending HM to friends. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as this was a very different experience from the positive experiences I've had at Hermann Marshall in the past.

One of the best parts is the music level. It's fun and sets the mood, but it's not so loud that you can't actually have a conversation. The tour came with a flight of their drinks, which included gin, bourbon and vodka. My favorite was the gin. Along with the flight of drinks , we also got two cocktails and the tour. The staff was awesome and the drinks were great. We got all of this for a great price. I also enjoyed to hear about the history of how this distillery came to be. The tour included just me and one other person, which ended up making it feel very personal and give the opportunity to ask a lot of questions. We arrived shorty before our scheduled time, and the distillery was just opening. Don (co-owner) welcomed me and told us to come on in. The space is very welcoming, and we immediately felt comfortable. We were fortunate enough that Don took care of us. He told us about the beginnings of the distillery, how he and his partner got started, and how they have continued to evolve. Their attention to details are unmatched. Their gin, bourbon, and vodka were all top-notch, and we were very impressed by the personalized tour. Don's passion and knowledge made the experience truly memorable. We learned so much about artisan products, and the efforts that go into making them. I strongly recommend this experience to others. Their spirits taste really good. We could've stayed longer, as comfortable as Don made us feel. We were able to sample most of their products and we had two amazing cocktails each. We purchased the Artisanal Gin, the Barrel Finished Gin, and the Blended Bourbon. My wife surprised me with a bottle of the Blended Bourbon, and Don presented it in a very nice gift bag. He actually dedicated the bottles to us and signed them. We're looking forward to bringing our friends for another visit soon. I had reserved a tour for 3 (I highly recommend that you do the tour and if you choose to do a tour that you make reservations in advance as they sell out) and initially I did 2 with bottle fills and one tour. The tours come with a ticket for a drink so that was a nice little extra. As the tour started Ryan & Diego (our fabulous guides) gave us some history of how the company started and as well as the process of how the vodka is made. There are so many drink options that I wasn't sure what I wanted as they have so many flavored vodkas. I was told I could sample the vodkas which I was grateful for as it helped me make a decision. My cousin got the raspberry cobbler and the Bloody Mary - the raspberry was sweet but good and I don't like bloody Mary's but I'd drink this one! I got the blueberry lemon, the prickly pear and the front porch . . . All were good to me.
