The first 2 times were amazing but now not worth the time to drive here or the $ for less than stellar food and service. There was nobody at the hostess station and several separate groups of people left after not being seated. Our bill was $74-ish for 4 meals. Pepperoni pizza was not worth the $17 and was not tasty. The Hazy IPA was hoppy and full of citrus, the Hoppy Brown Ale was unusual in a good way. Malty up front as expected from a brown ale and then the hops hit in the finish. Quite enjoyable. She allowed us time to view the menu without being overbearing. I ordered the Calamari with a couple of mods. They have 3 Fries options and I asked if I could swap out my French Fries for the Sweet Potato Fries. Apparently, this is not something they normally allow, but the manager approved it. I also wanted my Calamari not as crunchy and lightly fried. The calamari came out thick-coated, hard-fried, and tasted of oil. I was told this is the best they could do without it appearing raw. The manager came over to discuss my request and outlined their cooking process. I then asked if it was possible to just use less batter? They obliged and re-prepared the calamari. It came out looking 10x better than before and I could actually taste the flavors. The manager came back to see how everything was. Janay, the manager did a phenomenal job at managing the situation. She never appeared annoyed or inconvenienced. She genuinely wanted to make sure that I had a good experience, and I did. The calamari was good and the sweet potato waffle fries were delicious.

For apps we ordered the meatballs and they were tasty; they came in a little deep dish with marina and cheese- and not dry. The croquettes never disappoint. The salad is a standard salad. Im picky with my salad and tend to notice if the lettuce is oxidized. This location almost always has a few oxidized pieces in the mix. I don't know why. It's not that hard to chop up some fresh romaine. I usually love their ranch dressing but today it was a flavorless liquid. Sad face. Our go to pizzas - margherita and the pepperoni.
