The tour came with a flight of their drinks, which included gin, bourbon and vodka. My favorite was the gin. Along with the flight of drinks , we also got two cocktails and the tour. The staff was awesome and the drinks were great. We got all of this for a great price. I also enjoyed to hear about the history of how this distillery came to be. The tour included just me and one other person, which ended up making it feel very personal and give the opportunity to ask a lot of questions. We arrived shorty before our scheduled time, and the distillery was just opening. Don (co-owner) welcomed me and told us to come on in. The space is very welcoming, and we immediately felt comfortable. We were fortunate enough that Don took care of us. He told us about the beginnings of the distillery, how he and his partner got started, and how they have continued to evolve. Their attention to details are unmatched. Their gin, bourbon, and vodka were all top-notch, and we were very impressed by the personalized tour. Don's passion and knowledge made the experience truly memorable. We learned so much about artisan products, and the efforts that go into making them. I strongly recommend this experience to others. Their spirits taste really good. We could've stayed longer, as comfortable as Don made us feel. We were able to sample most of their products and we had two amazing cocktails each. We purchased the Artisanal Gin, the Barrel Finished Gin, and the Blended Bourbon. My wife surprised me with a bottle of the Blended Bourbon, and Don presented it in a very nice gift bag. He actually dedicated the bottles to us and signed them. We're looking forward to bringing our friends for another visit soon. We bought our tickets to the event when we arrived. Tickets for tours are also available. After walking through the store and the rows of wooden barrels from floor to ceiling, you find yourself in a small area with a big bar. The event price includes one cocktail of your choice. I chose the Oh Peachy and later purchased a pecan old-fashioned; both were delicious! Unfortunately, the food truck broke down, so there was no food available!! Big Mike was performing in the big lodge room; the acoustics are pretty bad, especially once people start talking, but at least it was cool in there, We spent a lot of time in the store and ended up purchasing a fused bottle of whiskey to split. Very friendly service over the phone and from the moment you walk in. We were each give four tokens to try different bourbons. The two of us samples 8 total. We really enjoyed every one we sampled, while obviously having our favorites. Staff was very knowledgeable and answered all of our different questions. It's cozy and unique, not like these other big distilleries. The owner is a fascinating man with a love for alcohol that is unmatched. He really enjoys making the different vodkas, and his passion shows through his work. We were able to sample 5 of their vodkas, and we loved them all. My husband's favorite was the truffle vodka, but mine was by far the French oak! It was so good I wanted to buy two bottles!
