Bimibap with brown rice and tofu.
Robert L.

I found exactly what I was looking for at Koriya. I am visiting Springfield and was looking for specifically, tofu, fresh vegetables and tofu. I want expecting to be able to get them in one dish but the bimibap nailed EXACTLY what I was craving. The owner was so sweet and patient and guided me through the menu to find my perfect meal. The bimibap was $13.95, $1.75 for brown rice and $1.75 for tofu. I tried mine with lemon soy which NAILED it. I visit Springfield once a year and I will visit Koriya at least once each time I come to town. Thank you for a nice healthy dinner!

Good food amazing service. Will definitely recommend anyone to try it will not be disappointed!

Came to Koriya for dinner since it was close to my hotel. They are a healthy food joint, similar to Waba grill. They also have beer and wine. I had the bulgogi bowl and it was good, actually exceptional for the price. The service was also outstanding. If I visited again, I would definitely go back.

Kimchi Fried Rice, Spring Rolls

Good restaurant with a chill vibe. Wasn't a huge fan of the spring roll appetizer--too greasy. Had kimchi rice which was delicious. The fountain drink station also had to-go containers at your ready--good touch. Place was pretty clean. Would eat here again.

Hotstone bibimbap with kimchi and miso soup; hot green tea.

Koriya did not disappoint. The setup and menu display looks like a 'fast food' place when you're ordering but the food is fresh and quality ingredients. The lady taking our order was so helpful and kind, explaining the menu being our first time. The food was Excellent! I ordered the hotstone bibimbap with mixed rice, fried egg, tofu and kochi sauce. Loved this combination. Order came with a side of kimchi and miso soup. I also ordered their hot green tea that hit the spot after my meal. My husband ordered the same except he chose a peanut sauce. Not a cheap lunch for 2 but it was so worth it. I'll be back before I leave Springfield. A must try restaurant.

We got the spicy peanut chicken, steaming hot, wonderful environment, good service and many many healthy options. I see lots of hospital staff here during certain rushes. Authentic. Affordable. Great location. This place is slept on for sure. Will be back hands down.

Hot Bibimbap Traditional with tofu and black rice

If you're tired of processed American food, this place has your back. I got the hot bibimbap with black rice and tofu. The vegetables were fresh, prices reasonable, and the cashier was super friendly and informative. If this place was near my home, I'd frequent it.

Absolutely wonderful Korean food here. We were just passing through Springfield and we're happy that we stopped.

Somewhat pricey for a self served food spot in springfiled. I ordered the hot stone bibimbap and the food was subpar, not a huge fan of the some of the sauce options. Definitely not very authentic yet not great as an Asian fusion dish either.

Spicy Seafood Ramen Noodle

Great menu and great food. You can customize your own food or order from special menu. Impressed with beers and alcohol choices...both sake and soju. We ordered traditional bibimbap with extra eggs with beef and spicy seafood noodles. I wish my noddle has more meat... very tasty.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food at this Korean place in Springfield, MO, en route from Madison down to Austin, TX. I did not know they would even have Korean food in that town, but it was nice to try this place out while we were there. The menu options are pretty extensive, and I was able to try the short rib, the dolsot bibimbap and the kimbap. All of the dishes were pretty good, but not the best Korean food I've had. That being said, I wish the prices were a little more reasonable considering the cost of living in the area. The price of the food was about the same as what I paid in Seattle for Korean food, and there are dozens of options there. Generally was an ok experience and service was nice, food was good but I think mostly because I was very hungry. $12.95 for a bottle of soju that you can get at H Mart for $4.99.. come on man

Bulgogi bibimbap
Reca B.

I had their bulgogi bibimbap, it was so delicious and fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed the flavors. The service was good too and I got the food at a decent time. It was pretty quick. It didn't take long at all for the food to be sent to my table.

Hotstone Bibimbap

What a great local spot! Food is always super fresh, staff is friendly and the atmosphere is casual. The hot stone bibimbap with chicken and kochi sauce is my go to choice - just so flavorful and filling. For two bibimbap dishes, we spent $27, but I think it's worth that price for the quality ingredients you receive. We really enjoy sitting on the patio on a cool evening - they have added lights and comfortable chairs. Just a great spot overall and would highly recommend!

Great spot but they desperately need a chicken broth based spicy ramen if they want me back. And the noodle portion was small.

My bad, I reviewed the wrong one, but I'm sure this location is good too! Here's my review from last year on the other location: I could tell by looking at the photos and reviews on Yelp that this place was going to be wonderful. Thankfully, when we finally gave it a shot, we were not disappointed. Talk about made fresh. Everything was so delicious and freshly prepared. Flavors were spot on. The service was fantastic. They always made sure that our drinks were filled and we had everything that we needed. My absolute favorite dish was the fried green beans with minced pork. Get it with extra minced pork and you'll love it. The steamed dumplings and pancake appetizer are also really good. Highly recommend! They also have clean restrooms with an extra large sink outside the restroom area so you can quickly wash your hands if you don't actually need to use the restroom. Pretty cool. We can't wait to go back for more!

After a 30 min wait the food came out. The sizzling pepper steak came out very hot and sizzling but it was incredibly oily. It was well seasoned, but way too oily. After we finished it, there was a puddle of oil remaining. The braised beef noodle was decent, and it was not special in any way. The restaurant was fairly clean, although the tables were packed tightly to fit the most amount of people. Our server was attentive, refilled our water frequently even though the restaurant was packed, and knew both mandarin and English. Overall I was mostly satisfied with the experience, but I would wish the food was less salty and greasy.

The chicken was tender, perfectly seasoned, and full of bold Caribbean flavor. The black beans and fresh mango salsa complemented the chicken beautifully, while the island rice was an outstanding side that tied everything together. My youngest daughter chose the Jerk Chicken Bowl and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. The portions were generous, and it delivered the same incredible jerk chicken, beans, rice, and toppings all combined into one flavorful bowl. I went with the Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken served with island rice and mashed sweet potatoes. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the teriyaki sauce had just the right amount of sweetness without being overpowering, and both the rice and the mashed sweet potatoes were exceptional. We also sampled several of their Caribbean-inspired cocktails, and every one of them was well-crafted and balanced. I especially enjoyed the rum flight and a Mezcal Old Fashioned--both were excellent and worth ordering again. The atmosphere is just as impressive as the food. The restaurant features two levels with outdoor seating on both floors, and the upstairs bar creates a great place to relax. They also offer live music on Thursdays and daily specials, giving us another reason to come back. If you're looking for outstanding Caribbean-inspired food, creative cocktails, generous portions, and a fun atmosphere, and great service, Palm & Paddle is absolutely worth the visit. Highly recommended--we'll definitely be back!

My mom had the Caribbean Jerk Chicken with sweet potatoes and she said it was so good. My daughter had the Pulled Jerk Chicken bowl. She said it had a slight kick to it and she really liked it. I ordered the Anana burger. It comes on a brioche bun but I opted for no bun and had it served on a bed of lettuce instead. The presentation was appealing and my burger was delicious. I subbed grilled vegetables for the fries and everything was so, so good. I went with sweet tea to drink. Palm &Paddle has a wonderful menu. Next time I want to save room for the beautiful key lime that's on the menu. This restaurant is located right next door to LaQuinta and directly across the street from Dunkin Donuts. The location is nice and the menu is thoughtful, most definitely recommend!

The restaurant was extremely clean, but I also think we may have been the first people there. It was very early. The decor was very fun. Whoever did all this stuff had a very good sense of humor as well. The young ladies who served us were bright pleasant and appeared to be enjoying their job, which I thought was a rarity for kids that age I got two different regular donuts,. The first one was a spice cake with caramel and cinnamon, and it was delicious. The second one was some sort of forgettable yeast donut that was just OK. My wife got this huge apple fritter. She ate on that thing most of the day as we traveled. She said it was incredible and extremely good. She also got a cup of some sort of flavored coffee that she said was ok. (brown sugar oat milk) The only drawback was the price, while they are extremely artistic donuts, full of flavor and very pretty. They were also $3 apiece. I'm not really griping here. It was probably worth it. Just be prepared. $30 for a dozen seems high to me. Overall, this is probably one of the top three donut places I've been to (The Donut Stop in Amarillo, Tx and Round Rock Donuts in Round Rock Tx) It just isn't your little mom and pop donut shop!
