The egg rolls were good I dip mine in soy sauce and it helped bring a deeper flavor. What I did not like was the General Taos I normally love general but this was not it... the sushi was pretty good but the rice sticks together with other pieces but you can put whatever sauce you want over it. For dessert the vanilla pudding, and chocolate pudding was good and the ice cream cups were really good! My favorite thing was the Rangoons! The cost was pretty affordable as well, at $14 each.

Crispy egg rolls, saucy lo mein, and General Tso's chicken that somehow stays crunchy even after the drive home. Friendly faces behind the counter, portions big enough to share (but why would you?), and prices that remind you good food doesn't have to be expensive. We wanted someplace a bit special for my wife's birthday celebration. This place was recommended by…read morehotel staff and with the star ratings we decided to try it. We pulled up and couldn't believe this was it. Weed choked bed in front of a building and sign that needed attention badly. The place just looked sad. I asked my wife if we needed to go elsewhere but she said it would be memorable either way. I should have driven on. The interior is almost as sad as the exterior. Old faded, grime near the walls on the floor. The service itself was quite good. We were seated, ordered and served very quickly. We ordered the tempura shrimp appetizer and teriyaki chicken dinner. The tempura was as it should be, crispy with the shrimp still moist. The Yum-yum sauce went with it nicely. The teriyaki chicken was ok. The white meat chicken was a bit dry. The vegetables were good as were the noodles and rice. We noticed they did a lot of takeout so the food is good. It is just the ambiance that didn't meet our desires for a celebratory meal.

Also you have to visit the sauce bar to make your own sauce!! That was so delicious. The house sauce is amazing and a must!!! At the end you also get a little complementary ice cream! It's a decent size too! The staff is so nice too, we accidentally arrived way too close to closing and didn't realize it but they still served us and let us stay after. So nice!!!

Now I'm not a giant fan of the plain old Chinese restaurants that seem to be on every other block here in Springfield, but picky me really likes Asian fusion restaurants. Its clean, friendly, and fast service here, with a large menu. They offer anything from sushi, shrimp with lobster sauce, sweet and sour chicken, and just about any other of your favorite Asian dish's. The lunch special is very well priced and includes the entree, your choice of 2 crab rangoon's, egg role, or soup as an added side to the meal. It's a really nice portion of food, it all comes un-assembled so you decide how much sauce to add, which is a great touch. Also, like how they bread the chicken, it's more of a wet batter to start and fry's up nice and puffy so to say. One cool thing about the decor is the gold cat on the counter that is perpetually waving hello, really want to know where I can get one of those, lol. Give it a try for lunch, really can't beat that special, and they can be pretty busy at times, which means to me I'm not the only one who knows good food in this town.

If my understanding is correct, the health department would be very interested in knowing that one of the employees was clearly eating over the pans of chicken, rice and sauces. I hope someone addresses this with the employee before the health department sees something like this. It's a small ordering area and you can see directly into the kitchen.
