    Kimchi Fried Rice, Spring Rolls

Good restaurant with a chill vibe. Wasn't a huge fan of the spring roll appetizer--too greasy. Had kimchi rice which was delicious. The fountain drink station also had to-go containers at your ready--good touch. Place was pretty clean. Would eat here again.

I found exactly what I was looking for at Koriya. I am visiting Springfield and was looking for specifically, tofu, fresh vegetables and tofu. I want expecting to be able to get them in one dish but the bimibap nailed EXACTLY what I was craving. The owner was so sweet and patient and guided me through the menu to find my perfect meal. The bimibap was $13.95, $1.75 for brown rice and $1.75 for tofu. I tried mine with lemon soy which NAILED it. I visit Springfield once a year and I will visit Koriya at least once each time I come to town. Thank you for a nice healthy dinner!

Came to Koriya for dinner since it was close to my hotel. They are a healthy food joint, similar to Waba grill. They also have beer and wine. I had the bulgogi bowl and it was good, actually exceptional for the price. The service was also outstanding. If I visited again, I would definitely go back.

Hotstone bibimbap with kimchi and miso soup; hot green tea.

Koriya did not disappoint. The setup and menu display looks like a 'fast food' place when you're ordering but the food is fresh and quality ingredients. The lady taking our order was so helpful and kind, explaining the menu being our first time. The food was Excellent! I ordered the hotstone bibimbap with mixed rice, fried egg, tofu and kochi sauce. Loved this combination. Order came with a side of kimchi and miso soup. I also ordered their hot green tea that hit the spot after my meal. My husband ordered the same except he chose a peanut sauce. Not a cheap lunch for 2 but it was so worth it. I'll be back before I leave Springfield. A must try restaurant.

We got the spicy peanut chicken, steaming hot, wonderful environment, good service and many many healthy options. I see lots of hospital staff here during certain rushes. Authentic. Affordable. Great location. This place is slept on for sure. Will be back hands down.

If you're tired of processed American food, this place has your back. I got the hot bibimbap with black rice and tofu. The vegetables were fresh, prices reasonable, and the cashier was super friendly and informative. If this place was near my home, I'd frequent it.

Absolutely wonderful Korean food here. We were just passing through Springfield and we're happy that we stopped.

Somewhat pricey for a self served food spot in springfiled. I ordered the hot stone bibimbap and the food was subpar, not a huge fan of the some of the sauce options. Definitely not very authentic yet not great as an Asian fusion dish either.

Great menu and great food. You can customize your own food or order from special menu. Impressed with beers and alcohol choices...both sake and soju. We ordered traditional bibimbap with extra eggs with beef and spicy seafood noodles. I wish my noddle has more meat... very tasty.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food at this Korean place in Springfield, MO, en route from Madison down to Austin, TX. I did not know they would even have Korean food in that town, but it was nice to try this place out while we were there. The menu options are pretty extensive, and I was able to try the short rib, the dolsot bibimbap and the kimbap. All of the dishes were pretty good, but not the best Korean food I've had. That being said, I wish the prices were a little more reasonable considering the cost of living in the area. The price of the food was about the same as what I paid in Seattle for Korean food, and there are dozens of options there. Generally was an ok experience and service was nice, food was good but I think mostly because I was very hungry. $12.95 for a bottle of soju that you can get at H Mart for $4.99.. come on man

We had a delicious lunch of Bibimbap and Kimbap. We were graciously guided on our choices by the staff. The restaurant was super clean. Will definitely be back.

Stay away. Slow service. They forget your tea until your meals done. Tasted like microwave meal from Walmart zero starts.

One of my favorite lunch places in town. I come in at least twice a week for the spicy peanut chicken. Never lets me down, always good!

I ordered the Tonkatsu fried pork cutlet thinking it was like traditional ramen with a meat in broth with noodles. This was not that . When it came, it was a tray with steamed rice, miso soup and a beautifully presented Japanese version of a German schnitzel!! I was surprised and after the first bite of the tender, crispy pork, I was sold. It was delicious. It's a nice little restaurant with outstanding service and pleasant atmosphere. The lighting is dim and intimate and there was music playing at just the right volume. The restaurant was full however I received kind, prompt, and attentive service. I was dining alone, so I decided to sit at the bar which had plenty of available stools. The bartender was friendly and was able to answer my questions about the menu selections. Now for the food.... It was outstanding! I had the Chashu Bun as an appetizer and the Cheeky Ramen as my main. They were both off the chart tasty. Since I was sitting at the bar which is adjacent to the sushi chef station and right outside the kitchen, I saw many delicious looking plates go out. If I lived in Springfield, MO, I would be a regular. Visit this restaurant. You won't regret it!

This was my first time visiting Springfield, and I didn't expect to find a place like this…read more The restaurant has a really fun Japanese anime vibe, with Totoro decor and even lucky cat (maneki-neko) touches throughout, which I absolutely loved. It honestly felt like the owner might be Japanese or Chinese, because the whole atmosphere was thoughtfully done and very authentic. The service staff were all friendly and welcoming, and overall the dining experience was great. We did have a delay with one of our dishes (waited over 30 minutes), but the manager noticed the issue right away, took responsibility, and handled it really well. They even offered us complimentary spring rolls, which I really appreciated. That kind of attentiveness and care makes a big difference. The food was solid and enjoyable--of course, you can't compare it to bigger cities, but for Springfield, this is definitely a great find. They also have a robot that helps deliver food, which was such a fun and unique touch. I'm here for work, traveling from out of state, and we actually ended up coming back four days in a row--which probably says everything. You can really tell the owner put a lot of heart into this place--from the decor to the overall experience. I appreciate being able to enjoy a different culture like this, especially in a smaller city. Springfield has given me a really great impression and some wonderful memories. Would definitely recommend

I see staff talking and hardly any tables occupied. I've been going here for years and I used to love this place but now it's just not worth the wait and money. That's my only problem with this place 3 tables taken in the whole place and I get my water after waiting 30 minutes after being seated, and I'm the last to be helped after bigger parties who arrived after me. When I come with 2 other people the waiters are on top of it with service but if it's me alone I hardly even see a waiter. They're chasing tippssss imo. This is just a personal opinion that doesn't contribute to my stars because I know some people find it really cool but the robot is creepy and what if someone needs to ask something when the drinks come? Can't ask a robot and then they have to wait 20+ minutes for a waiter to come by.
