Bimibap with brown rice and tofu.
    Robert L.

I found exactly what I was looking for at Koriya. I am visiting Springfield and was looking for specifically, tofu, fresh vegetables and tofu. I want expecting to be able to get them in one dish but the bimibap nailed EXACTLY what I was craving. The owner was so sweet and patient and guided me through the menu to find my perfect meal. The bimibap was $13.95, $1.75 for brown rice and $1.75 for tofu. I tried mine with lemon soy which NAILED it. I visit Springfield once a year and I will visit Koriya at least once each time I come to town. Thank you for a nice healthy dinner!

Good restaurant with a chill vibe. Wasn't a huge fan of the spring roll appetizer--too greasy. Had kimchi rice which was delicious. The fountain drink station also had to-go containers at your ready--good touch. Place was pretty clean. Would eat here again.

Came to Koriya for dinner since it was close to my hotel. They are a healthy food joint, similar to Waba grill. They also have beer and wine. I had the bulgogi bowl and it was good, actually exceptional for the price. The service was also outstanding. If I visited again, I would definitely go back.

Hotstone bibimbap with kimchi and miso soup; hot green tea.

Koriya did not disappoint. The setup and menu display looks like a 'fast food' place when you're ordering but the food is fresh and quality ingredients. The lady taking our order was so helpful and kind, explaining the menu being our first time. The food was Excellent! I ordered the hotstone bibimbap with mixed rice, fried egg, tofu and kochi sauce. Loved this combination. Order came with a side of kimchi and miso soup. I also ordered their hot green tea that hit the spot after my meal. My husband ordered the same except he chose a peanut sauce. Not a cheap lunch for 2 but it was so worth it. I'll be back before I leave Springfield. A must try restaurant.

We got the spicy peanut chicken, steaming hot, wonderful environment, good service and many many healthy options. I see lots of hospital staff here during certain rushes. Authentic. Affordable. Great location. This place is slept on for sure. Will be back hands down.

If you're tired of processed American food, this place has your back. I got the hot bibimbap with black rice and tofu. The vegetables were fresh, prices reasonable, and the cashier was super friendly and informative. If this place was near my home, I'd frequent it.

Absolutely wonderful Korean food here. We were just passing through Springfield and we're happy that we stopped.

Somewhat pricey for a self served food spot in springfiled. I ordered the hot stone bibimbap and the food was subpar, not a huge fan of the some of the sauce options. Definitely not very authentic yet not great as an Asian fusion dish either.

Great menu and great food. You can customize your own food or order from special menu. Impressed with beers and alcohol choices...both sake and soju. We ordered traditional bibimbap with extra eggs with beef and spicy seafood noodles. I wish my noddle has more meat... very tasty.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food at this Korean place in Springfield, MO, en route from Madison down to Austin, TX. I did not know they would even have Korean food in that town, but it was nice to try this place out while we were there. The menu options are pretty extensive, and I was able to try the short rib, the dolsot bibimbap and the kimbap. All of the dishes were pretty good, but not the best Korean food I've had. That being said, I wish the prices were a little more reasonable considering the cost of living in the area. The price of the food was about the same as what I paid in Seattle for Korean food, and there are dozens of options there. Generally was an ok experience and service was nice, food was good but I think mostly because I was very hungry. $12.95 for a bottle of soju that you can get at H Mart for $4.99.. come on man

We had a delicious lunch of Bibimbap and Kimbap. We were graciously guided on our choices by the staff. The restaurant was super clean. Will definitely be back.

My bad, I reviewed the wrong one, but I'm sure this location is good too! Here's my review from last year on the other location: I could tell by looking at the photos and reviews on Yelp that this place was going to be wonderful. Thankfully, when we finally gave it a shot, we were not disappointed. Talk about made fresh. Everything was so delicious and freshly prepared. Flavors were spot on. The service was fantastic. They always made sure that our drinks were filled and we had everything that we needed. My absolute favorite dish was the fried green beans with minced pork. Get it with extra minced pork and you'll love it. The steamed dumplings and pancake appetizer are also really good. Highly recommend! They also have clean restrooms with an extra large sink outside the restroom area so you can quickly wash your hands if you don't actually need to use the restroom. Pretty cool. Having lived in LA and also in Asia, I'm pretty strict about what I am willing to call authentic. Corner 21 isn't perfect and a few of the dishes fell flat, but you won't find anything better in town. I'm giving it full marks for being such a pleasant surprise in a seriously unexpected place. edit: Almost forgot to mention that the portions are quite big. Unknowingly, I started "scrolling" to find a place to eat and was sucked in by pics of the food and ambiance! So I mapped directions to Cafe Cusco only to find it was next to another great restaurant I had been to during my last trip. Walked in and the hostess, with a welcoming greeting and smile directed my single person party to a four top. Turns out she ended up also being my server and bartender!!! Lilly was her name and she was on top of it all. I believe there was at least one other server. I shied away from apps as I was not sure about the serving sizes as I was not famished... I started with a Pisco Sour that Lilly recommended and she also recommended the Lomo Saltado for an entree. I chose to also have the Ginger Caipirinha. For dessert I had the Quinoa Pudding and a cup of coffee. Beverages were well balanced with lime tartness, great cinnamon presence and over all flavor was refreshing! The Lomo Saltado was very flavorful- def get your salt intake for the day, but it works so well! There was a house hot sauce at each table. I taste tested the hot sauce and decided to liberally add to the dish! A symphony of flavors! The slices of tomato in that Saltado sauce was ... mmmmmmmmm GOOD!! Naturally the tenderloin was packed with Saltado flavor too! I ordered up the Ginger Caipirinha (which did not disappoint either!). Both beverages stand on their own merits and I cannot choose which was better... maybe the sour?? So... then there was dessert... I cannot recall the last time I ordered dessert... quinoa pudding???? I mean... I like quinoa... but do I ever go out of my way to eat it?? No... but add some sweet coconut cream, cinnamon and... wait for it... Black cherry COMPOTE?!?????!!!! Damn! Am I glad I got that dessert! You MUST save room for this! Such a great amalgamation of flavor and textures! Cheers Cafe Cusco!! You've got a great gem here for great prices to boot! Lilly was very busy, what may have lacked in some attentiveness (due to how busy it was) she made up for in her awesome personality, pleasant disposition and great suggestions! Chillin' in haute Springfield?? Check this place out! Cheers!
