In the summer, I'm here for late-night meals, and in the winter, I become an Uber Eats regular…read more They're probably used to seeing my order come through with the note "no green onions please" every single time My forever favorites here are the yukhoe (beef tartare) and the shishamo. Both are non-negotiable and always hit. We still like to switch it up sometimes, and this visit we tried a few different dishes: * Kataifi-Wrapped prawn tempura: crunchy, and the wasabi mayo was my favorite part. * Nagasaki Champon with ramen: cozy and comforting. * Grilled Squid with butter: simple and done right * Beef Brisket Yaki Soba: savory and satisfying, with bonito flakes doing their little dance on top. * Karaage: coming from someone who doesn't love greasy food, this one was not greasy at all and still juicy inside. Lowkey missing their grilled beef intestine though Great highball selection as well. We got the peach highball for the one who likes sweet, and the yuzu highball for the one who likes sour. I went with the Snow beer Sapporo, topped with shaved frozen beer. Such a nice way to keep the beer cold without diluting it. Service here has always been amazing, whether they're busy or not, and that's a big reason why I keep coming back.

Their beer happy hour worth the money! $5 for a pint!…read more Food came at a decent pace. Out of the dishes we ordered, my favourite would be: grill pork belly, taro chips, yaki soba, and the fried shrimp prawn. If you want some chewy squid, then you could order the squid. The sauce tasted good but I could imagine cooking it to its perfection is hard, especially when the izakaya was actually pretty full due to the beer happy hour! The other issue would be finding a parking space. Otherwise, I would love to come back again.

Initially we were going for the idea of breakfast, but timing was a bit off from what we anticipated and it was a really nice lunch date instead. I love the Markham Marriott, the staff is always warm and welcoming. Draco has a very sleek, sophisticated and cozy atmosphere. We both ordered Bacon & Cheddar burgers. I opted for a Caesar salad as an appetizer and hubby ordered their Grilled Wagyu Flat Iron Steak. Let's start with the apps. The Caesar salad was SO good! I wish I had taken a pic, but admittedly, my phone was tucked away and I was caught up in the cozy seating, great food and Christmas vibes of the restaurant and lobby. Grilled Wagyu Flat Iron Steak: $33 - Buttercup Squash Puree and Truffle Oil - Everything you want Wagyu to be - tender, cooked to the perfect temp which left a nice warm red centre. This was melt in your mouth good! The burgers - these were perfection! Draco Bacon Cheddar Burger: $25 - Aged Cheddar with Crispy Bacon Strips; Crispy Onion Straws, Arugula and Garlic Aioli. This was a very well seasoned patty, so juicy and a substantial sized patty of fresh not frozen beef. The bun was lightly toasted, bacon crispy, easily taking this into my top 3 fav spots for burgers! Options for sides include fries, sweet potato fries, poutine, side Caesar or garden salad or truffle fries. We finished off our meal with 2 really good cappuccinos and just took our time before heading home. This was our first time back here in a few years. The food was exceptional as was the service and the warm staff. Draco is the perfect spot for an early morning breakfast, work or lunch date or a nice cozy dinner. They also have Christmas & New Years dinners and brunches. Relax in the restaurant with drinks or in the adjacent lounge, this is a great spot to unwind with some great food and drinks.

I had chicken and waffles my daughter had steak and eggs. The steak was seasoned to perfection, my waffles were crispy and so was my chicken. Not really sure when this bar opened, but if you walked by, you probably would never notice it. I…read morewent here to meet some friends around midnight on Saturday, and we were one of two tables in the bar. I was kind of offended right off the bat, after I sat down with my friends, the waitress brought me a fork and knife..meanwhile my friends had chopsticks..like, thanks but this white girl can use chopsticks TYVM. I'd be less offended if she brought me both a fork and chopsticks. Although the waitress was very polite, she barely spoke English, so I had to rely on my friends to communicate to her in Korean. She barely attended our table even though there was literally noone in the bar, we had to flag her down every time. Menu is has some strange concoctions, drinks are decently priced, the inside is dark, and was FREEZING. Seemed as if they were not completely ready to open as the path to the unisex bathroom had boxes and random items sitting along the bar.. Just another average Korean bar, not really original or impressive.
