Cabana is a beautiful lake side venue with a lucrative city skyline view…read more I've been here a few times, and it's fun. They have lockers - make sure you bring multiple toonies, since they may not have the change to give you. It's not cheap, but it's worth it to experience a pool bar with views in Toronto. Since it's away from the city center, they can go big with sound. Another convenience is that one event got cancelled because of rain, and they moved us to the space above Rebel. I don't know if they do this with all events, but this was convenient. There is some food being served. I haven't tried it, but at least it's there.

The place is great, we went twice in one weekend! Parking is expensive at 30$ CAD, (around 25$ USD)…read morewith a 2$ additional charge if you use card. Didn't try any of the food but it looked pretty good, the drinks were great. Bartenders are quick to get you situated, we didn't try renting a cabana. Pool on Saturdays is an additional charge of like $20 CAD ($15ish dollars USD) for Men, on top of already having men pay to get in. Ladies sometimes free before 3pm. Check their website for event details. Vibe was fantastic, DJs playing some outstanding house music sets. Security seems a bit over eager to throw people out though. Don't cause trouble and you'll be fine. I didn't have a single issue. No outside towels allowed, and check their website for the dress code. Pool gets gross after a while so go early if you wanna swim lol.

Firstly, I was glad they allow reservations, when we arrived the place was starting to get busy. We…read morewaited a little over 5 minutes and were brought to our table. The place filled up very quickly after that and eventually turned into a club/lounge. So I highly recommend making reservations. Ambiance: they place is lit up in red lighting, there is a dance floor, the tv was playing some Netflix show. The lounge very much caters to the south Asian population as 90% of the music played that night was Punjabi/Indian. The crowd was going wild! It was entertaining to watch. Great ventilation so the place isn't filled with smoke. Eventually, the music does get really loud so it's hard to talk. Highly recommend if you are in the mood to just dance. I enjoyed our food, it was delicious. The Shisha itself was not bad either. They do have options for shisha ranging from $25-$75. Service: the staff was nice however once we were served, they did not really come back to check up on us. We had to seek the servers attention to get assistance. Apparently, there are call buttons at each booth, not sure if that's the case for tables as well. If there was any, we were not informed.

Nile River Restaurant is an excellent Egyptian restaurant serving delicious Middle Eastern fare. We…read moreloved everything that we ordered! Fried Cauliflower (Arnabeet) had tahini drizzled on it - very delectable and one of my favourite items to get at any Middle Eastern restaurant that serves it. Fried Eggplant Dinner contained small slices of eggplant, cooked until soft and covered in tahini and lemon garlic dressing. Garlic Shrimps Dinner contained big succulent shrimps sautéed in garlic and tomato sauce. The sauce was really good on the rice. Branzino Whole Fish Dinner was quite a big portion - enough to feed 2-3 people. You can opt to have the Branzino Whole Fish come deboned, where they actually took out the big bones for you. It still contained the small bones, but having it deboned made it easier to eat. Each dinner meal came with rice and house salad. You can substitute them with quinoa tabouleh salad, fattoush salad, sweet potato fries, mashed potatoes, and/or seasonal vegetables for an extra fee. The Nile House Salad contained lettuce, cucumber, tomato, red onion, and coriander. It was typical and nothing out of the ordinary, but I liked that it was light and refreshing to accompany the main dishes. The Seasonal Vegetables side was also very tasty. The green beans, carrot, red, yellow, and green bell peppers were cooked well done to a somewhat soft consistency, with just the right amount of seasoning.

I love the Egyptian spots that I have tried so far so I was definitely excited to try. I ordered the Kefta Dinner which is a mix of ground lamb and beef infused with garlic, onions, parsley and "special spices." Served with vermicelli rice and house salad. I was disappointed by this as I had also ordered extra on the side. They were all so dry. The garlic sauce helped but I totally could have used more. I also ordered hummus, quinoa tabouli salad, extra kefta and Rice Pudding. The highlight for me was was surprisingly the quinoa tabouli salad. It was fresh and delightful. The SM rice was good too by the way but you have to order that if it is not part of your order. I recommend. The rice pudding was not bad it was a little watery but I could see if it had more depth it would definitely be another highlight for me.
