Cabana is a beautiful lake side venue with a lucrative city skyline view. I've been here a few times, and it's fun. They have lockers - make sure you bring multiple toonies, since they may not have the change to give you. It's not cheap, but it's worth it to experience a pool bar with views in Toronto. Since it's away from the city center, they can go big with sound. Another convenience is that one event got cancelled because of rain, and they moved us to the space above Rebel. I don't know if they do this with all events, but this was convenient. There is some food being served. I haven't tried it, but at least it's there. read more

The place is great, we went twice in one weekend! Parking is expensive at 30$ CAD, (around 25$ USD) with a 2$ additional charge if you use card. Didn't try any of the food but it looked pretty good, the drinks were great. Bartenders are quick to get you situated, we didn't try renting a cabana. Pool on Saturdays is an additional charge of like $20 CAD ($15ish dollars USD) for Men, on top of already having men pay to get in. Ladies sometimes free before 3pm. Check their website for event details. Vibe was fantastic, DJs playing some outstanding house music sets. Security seems a bit over eager to throw people out though. Don't cause trouble and you'll be fine. I didn't have a single issue. No outside towels allowed, and check their website for the dress code. I paid $150 for two tickets for a Caribana DAY PARTY with Kehlani on Aug 2nd. Event said STARTS AT 1PM and by 3:30 PM still no Kehlani. My plan was to head over to the Caribana parade after the party so now I ask a staff whats happening. He tells me "performances are around 6pm, idk why everyone is here so early" .... WTF. The tickets said 1pm. Now I've spent 3 hours waiting for the performer I paid to see DURING THE DAY. I would have gone to the parade first then to Cabana if they had given proper timing information on their tickets/event page. Its not hard to say "Door open at 1pm. Performer at 6pm". Also once your are inside you can't leave and come back so they trapped everyone with false advertising. I left at 5pm because at this point im pissed and Cabana has ruined my entire plan for the day. I spent at least $500 on tickets and drinks just to not see the performer in the end. I feel like they mislead customer to maximize their profits which is shady as hell. I reached out to customer service and was basically told it is my fault for assuming the event started at 1 even though thats what the tickets and event page said. It used to be a hit and miss at this place, but the last few times have been nothing but Great! The place is beautiful, very spacious with so many tables on the other side of the pool. Dj and live tunes, great food and exceptional service. The Nachos is always a favourite, the flat Iron steak and Calamari are always my favourites. I've been coming here for a few years now and I've always had a good time. This review is for the first time I went in 2022 and it was a different feeling. Very understaffed. Lack of bartenders and slow service at the bar. The line for the bar took 20 minutes, then to be ignored by the bartender when standing at the bar for another 10 minutes. It should not take 30 minutes to order two drinks. The bar is also the only place to get water. Lack of garbages and cleaning crew. There were shattered plastic cups and cans on the ground. I attended an event and I felt like they were way over capacity. So many people, hardly any room to walk. A girl was carrying something sharp and she scraped my arm while walking past me. I got there before 3pm on a Sat (free for girls before 3pm on Sat) and there were long line ups to get in. The line splits and you wouldn't know which to go (guest list vs ticket vs paying counter) until you're in it. You first show them ID and check in the guestlist and they'll give you a wristband. No water bottles! It was Canada Day weekend so there were red balloons and pretty much all the guests were wearing red and white. Loud mainstream club music was playing. Nice views of the skyline. You'll definitely get to soak the sun. It's hard to find a place to sit as most of Cabana's space is the reserved booths. But there is an indoor area where you can sit and the entrance dock has some white benches too (quieter too). For entertainment, soccer was playing on the big screen, there are a couple of pool tables and foosball. There is a little snack bar and at least 3 full bars. There were some dancing girls on tables and a hot tub on the upper balcony. There are security guards at every corner. I must say, the pool is small and crowded! It is blocked by an entrance gate so you can't get too close to it. Summer party vibes and lots of sun. You'll just most likely be standing. read more

It's been a long summer and we were in the mood for a patio by the water, so Cabana Pool Bar seemed like an obvious choice. It's not super accessible - I wound up parking about 15 minutes away - and we didn't get a table even close to the water, even though we specifically requested a spot by the water in our reservation. But we still had a pretty good time thanks to the easygoing ambiance and stellar service. We started with a Red Fire Dragon Maki roll, which tasted fresh and certainly hit the spot. (The price, however, didn't hit the spot; $22 for a fairly tiny amount of sushi? Not cool, Cabana Pool Bar.) For my main, I went with the Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich ("Lettuce, Pickles, Mayo, Cheddar"), which comes with a generous helping of fries. I can't say I was especially impressed. The chicken was fairly anemic and didn't contain any crunch, while the various toppings did little to alleviate the mediocrity of the protein. This tasted like something you'd get at a high-school cafeteria (albeit at a much, much higher price point). I might still return just for the beach-like atmosphere, but I do wish they'd put just a little effort into their food. read more

Amazing views, beautiful people, pool, tons of lounging areas, and very chill house music. //ATMOSPHERE// When I went, it was a beautiful sunny hot day so some people were in the pool, others shuffling and swaying to the chill house music, and people were generally very chill. //THINGS TO DO// Lounging near the pool (you have to have VIP bracelets though) but swimming in the shallow pool is open to all. The day that I went had a Greek theme so there was Grecian costumes, dancers, free corona flash tattoos & flower crowns given out The indoor & outdoor areas were open so you can walk around or lounge around in many places. The were also foozball & pingpong tables outside ! The ladies washroom was clean & brightly lit. This spot is a lot of fun! I went for a special event on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time! Drinks (3/5)- Regular drinks, it's what you expect. Very pricey. Music (5/5)- The DJ was great and the dancefloor was full of energy. I'm not sure if it's always this great, I guess it depends who's performing. Vibe (4/5)- The view of the skyline is beautiful! The male at the entrance of the restaurant is extremely rude. It presents more like a bar than a restaurant with a guy who thinks he is a bouncer welcoming guests into the restaurant. We have been there before and enjoyed ourselves but this is not the first time that the staff that appear to be there more as bouncers despite it being a restaurant have been quite rude. Firstly, when is their movie night? Monday or Tuesday? My friend looked up and it was Monday; but all my searches showed Tuesday. We ended up going in on a Monday. Let's just say this -the location is unbeatable and the view is spectacular! So a couple of things- First up- if you're going to host a movie night, especially in September- expect it to get cold and get some heaters for your patrons! You're a patio, right by the water - it gets cold and windy. I came prepared with mittens, scarfs and I dressed warm- I was still freezing. Second- the service is much to be desired. My drink toppled over, and my phone, myself and the entire table was drenched. Ice pretty much flew everywhere, and we have to use ALL our napkins, borrow from the next table and cleaned up by ourselves! If they did not see it, it's bad service, if they saw it and showed a blind eye- even worse. Pretty sure they saw the whole mishap; but maybe(?!!) wanted to avoid any confusion about a free drink? It would have gone a LONG way if they had just come over and offered napkins to clean or to clean themselves. It's just a bad customer experience. I was cold to begin with, but standing around with my outfit soaked, and having to clean- I was FROZEN. You're exorbitant, have the decency to treat people right. Had to flag someone to get second round of drinks, more napkins, a response on whether there's coffee (which I never got), and the bill. Avoid. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We made a reservation for lunch and they didn't let us in because my sister (who is 18) didn't have her ID, which they never told us was required. And apparently she can't enter without a parent, so I can't be her guardian (I'm 30+). They also don't accept IDs from other countries so a foreigner can't visit. What a joke. Cabana is way over priced for the quality your getting. For example, two pieces of sushi is $10 plus tax and tip for simply a bite of rice and salmon. Last time I went I was also refused entry for not having my ID despite the fact I was not ordering any drinks. The website does not say ID is required as children are allowed in. All of my friends had ID and the photo of my ID would not be accepted. It also does not say minors have to accompanied by a guardian anywhere when making a reservation. This alone would not even have been a problem, the biggest problem was how rudely my group was treated at the entrance. Another group had the same issue and the guy at the front was incredibly rude instead of being apologetic and sympathetic. Overall would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

This ultra wanna be high mile end pool bar is just plain ridiculousness! A lot of guidos/guidettes and the Jersey Shore crowd. Except men and ladies think they really have to prove themselves to maintain their level of cool factor. The staff make sure you have a good time if you are VIP status by reserving a cabana/table. We came here for a wedding wknd celebration party, courtesy of family and friends. Rounds of drinks, appetizers, and hookahs in addition to music all afternoon. Honestly, not sure why the need for all the pretentious and snotty vibe when it is nowhere comparable to the luxury pool clubs & resorts of NYC. For starters, they need a real bathroom not a trailer park size bathroom at the back of the club with security or next door concert bldg premise. The space itself is huge except it is completely floored and overcrowded with tables. They need to take cues from real interior designers who actually know how to simplify and make the place really pop. The ultra white clean look might attract its crowd but they need to offer a lot more to keep this pool bar running. On the bright side, the pool bar/club faces the pier so expect to see a lot of rich girls with their daddy's yachts sailing. Overall it was ok but not something to venture again. read more

Cabana is a unique experience in the city of Toronto. Nothing else is quite like it (Muzik does not compare). Entry fee is $20 then an additional $20 for pool access. The female washrooms have a touch up station (hair and makeup), there is locker and towel rentals and several bars on the premises. The venue itself it's beautiful, the views are gorgeous and there is always a great crowd. Cabana's downside is service is horrendous. Waited 45 minutes for a waitress and another 30 minutes for a sangria pitcher and chicken wrap. The worst part of my most recent visit is when the waitress told us a $5 tip on a $35 bill wasn't enough. She claimed she would have to pay out of pocket unless we gave her more. I am always a generous tipper but when service is below average asking your customers for more money just isn't appropriate. Maybe management should look into more training for their staff. Despite the incident Cabana is the place to be on Sundays and I certainly will be back before the season is over. read more

We were here on a Ditch Friday. It was a burning hot day, just perfect for swimming and tanning. The upside: - Stunning view of the city & chill vibes. - We basically had the pool to ourselves. Most of the people there were not planning on swimming, just drinking in a bikini with full-faced makeup in high heels. - Good music and lots of dancing - Free Beck taxis from and to Union Station (we didn't take this, but it was nice that they had it) The downside: - Early closure (by 9pm) - We were watched by lurkers and several creepy older men who came right in your personal space. - Some of the people there were completely wasted (couldn't even stand up)- why didn't the bartenders cut them off? Gross. - There is this $20 towel rental, where you have to put a deposit to rent a towel. - Mixed service, but staff were generally friendly. Overall, it's a beautiful venue and it was fun. The day time lounging is fantastic with one exception. The service is atrocious! On my first outing to Cabana I had to wait 4 hours before I got my first order of food. On my second journey to Cabana, it was slightly better but I had to state the name of the lady who told me to let her know when I arrived. If I hadn't stated her name, service would have taken hours like during my first visit to Cabana. After I stated the ladies name I was able to order my first dish immediately. 6 of us went to Cabana Pool Bar last night for a number of reasons: lobster night, tequila, the scene, and the scene. We left there surprised. I was expected a sleazy, douchie rundown tourist trap with crappy pub food, warm beer glasses, and watered down drinks. WRONG on all counts. Ownership has obviously reinvested hard money into keeping this enormous place ship shape, clean, and comfortable. Food: with Oliver and Boniccini at the helm of this kitchen the choices were all over various food groups and well presented. We ran the gamut here from: lobster and watermelon salad, truffle mushroom pizza, grilled octopus, lobster, Caesar salad, beef tacos, and beef nachos. All real good. Drink wise: the cocktails we all had were excellent, beer cold and wine on point. Tequila was excellent and the variety on hand was better than most bars or restaurants knowing that tequila is now the most popular Covid period spirit. Aggressively. He said it almost hurt. She then proceeded to drop one of his $50 earplugs into a boardwalk crack and did not apologize or say/do anything. He had to get it out with a fork. Only reason I gave it 3 stars is the service is slow, and the security especially at front when I visited over summer was horrible and causing problems. I went on a Saturday at around 430 pm and it wasn't too busy nor too empty (just right). Cover was 20 dollars per person and included entry to the pool as well (bonus for showing up on a Saturday). The crowd and music was very lively. Beautiful scenery especially at sunset (both people and the location). See my posted pictures. The place had pool tables, a ping pong table and lots of seating space. The washrooms were well kept and the girls one apparently even had beds. If you forget your swimwear you can buy it there but the price tag is steep at $60. We had no problem just showing up and getting a booth (without buying a package). I came with about 8 friends and we bought some food and 2 bottles (750ml) which came with 2 chase each. The bill at the end came upto around 550 after taxes and tip. This isn't bad considering it was split 8 ways. Drinks otherwise are $9 which I expected. Cons: Service was ok. The place closes sorta early which is a shame at 9pm. I was soooo disgusted.... Even when we sat at the booth, the seats had hair stuck to it and food stains and splashes. It was just horrible. I've been to cabana several times this summer, Fridays are usually better and Sundays are the worst, water quality is very bad, dead bugs and garbages in the water. Last Sunday my friends and I (we are all girls) were chilling and floating in the pool, a group of guys (white and brown) came and ask if we are Chinese, we said yes and they flipped us into water.
