The food was exceptional, and the service was truly unparalleled. Everything was perfect, with the only exception being the noise level from some of the clientele. Perhaps the restaurant could consider installing a noise-reduction or sound-dampening system to create an even more enjoyable atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we truly appreciated the excellent food and service. Keep up the great work!

Taline is a beautiful Armenian restaurant run by three brothers who proudly share their family's…read moreheritage. The menu highlights classic Armenian dishes with touches of Lebanese flavour, all inspired by recipes passed down from their late mother. You can really feel the care and tradition behind each plate. We visited on a weekday evening to celebrate my sister's birthday, and the team surprised us with a sweet birthday note waiting at our table. The restaurant has both a main floor and an upper level that can be used for private events. The vibe is elegant yet cozy, making it a lovely spot for a special night out. We tried "Yalla Per" menu which is the tasting/experience menu here, that includes cold appetizer, warn appetizer, main dish and dessert. You can also do wine or cocktail pairing at extra cost. We trued "Cold Appetizer Trio", "Kibbeh Nayeh", "Bazoog Salad", and "Mante" from the appetizers menu. For entrée, we tried "Vochkhar" and finished off with "Ashta Tart". Everything tasted fresh and delicious; perfect combination of spices.

Both were very nice, when I preferred the Siren's Sin as I enjoyed the brighter flavors. For nibbles, we ordered the lamb baklava. It came as a little nest of kataifi with a braised lamb shank and topped with aioli and pistachios. The sweet and savoury flavours were interesting and made for a good small bite. Nice ambiance and service, but I would expect it to be a pricey meal.

By far one of the best restaurants in Bloor-West Village. While this neighbourhood is not known…read morefor its food, Flame might be a reason to go out of your way to visit. Mezes, Kebabs and a variety of meats in the Turkish style set in a cute restaurant that hides one of the cutest rooftop patios around. The Pancanga and home made bread were a perfect start, while the ribs and kebabs were delicious, but the dish I am still thinking about is the Atlantis - fish fillet app covered in a turmeric and dill sauce that is worth the visit on its own. We will return to conquer more of the menu under the guidance of a wonderful staff. Teşekkürler!

Their Beirut Mule was also great, so much that I would maybe come back just for that. The let down for me was their other dishes, their meat platter was quite bland. I have had much more flavourful and juicier meat at other Lebanese restaurants in the GTA at half the price. Their service was also quite slow and impersonal. Overall, I'd skip the food and get their drinks if the opportunity presents itself.

We went for the Sunday Oasis brunch. The menu looked good and while it was steep at $75 per person, we liked that kids (think it was 5 and under) were free. Each station was pretty small so it's not a big buffet area but each small section looks very nice and surprisingly very tasty. It's not the run of the mill buffet food. The salmon was tender, the prime rib at the carving station was delicious, the waffle station has great accompaniments, the bread and cheeses were delicious, the shrimps were humongous, the mussels were so good. Even the desserts were very tasty despite it being a relatively small selection for a buffet. Food was great, service was quite spotty though as they were busy and our server keeps forgetting about us. Value is okay, I mean everything is good but it is quite pricey so you're paying for being able to sample lots of variety but unless you focus your efforts on the seafood only, you're probably not getting good value here. I enjoyed the vibes and the food but it's probably one of those places you visit to check it out once a season as opposed to the weekly brunch spot.

We were a group of four. Two of us ordered the pasta, and two ordered the half chicken. After only…read morea few bites, both people who ordered the chicken realized it was undercooked. Unfortunately, no one checked on our table during the meal to see how everything was. When staff eventually came to clear our plates, we informed them that the chicken was undercooked. It was obvious that neither of us had eaten more than a few bites. Rather than offering to cook the chicken properly, replace the meal, provide an alternative, or at the very least remove it from the bill, we felt as though we were being interrogated as if we had made the issue up. We were told they had never received a complaint about their chicken before. That may very well be true, and perhaps ours was the first undercooked chicken they served. However, that does not change the fact that we were charged full price for meals we could not eat. What disappointed us most was not simply the undercooked chicken, but the complete lack of customer service in addressing the problem. Mistakes can happen in any restaurant; how those mistakes are handled is what leaves a lasting impression. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling dismissed and undervalued as customers.
