5/5. IDC what anyyyyone says. 5/5 @ the nachos lol ordered some take out and these defffinitely hiiiiiiiit. Fam, the way my bestie and I bodiedddd this...scraping the cheese off the paper, like that's how you know eh. I like how they use tri coloured chips and the toppings (including the dip) were freshhhh. The portion was also good as it left both of us saaaatisfiiieeddd. 11/10 would recommend and will most defffinitely return for this dish alone.

What's a chicken's least favourite day of the week? Fry-day -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Get your long weekend mood active with Fionn.Maccools. Feat. The Ceili Cold Fashioned It is a modern twist on a classic. If you love coffee, then this if you go to drink. As smooth as butter as aromatic as coffee. This drink is blended with the goodness of Bulleit Bourbon, Guinness Stout, maple syrup and Amaro, cold brewed to perfection. Fionn Maccools recently introduced their limited-edition nitro cocktail, Ceili Cold Fashioned and if you're a person who love cocktail then this drink is for you. Here's what I devoured from their PUB FARE list: Blarney Chips: Chicken fingers, sweet Thai-chili sauce, cheese sauce and jalapenos. Served with waffle-cut fries. Chicken Quesadillas: Sriracha-lime chicken, shredded cheese, green onion and flour tortilla. Served with salsa and sour cream. Dublin Street Sandwich: Naan bread stuffed with Buffalo grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, cucumber, pickled onions and zesty citrus mayo. If you're looking to spend good times this summer brewing some Irish drinks, you have to check out Fionn Maccools especially, their The Ceili Cold Fashioned.

Great experience! Super friendly staff! For appetizer I ordered the fry cauliflower and my mom got the chowder soup. This was my first time having fried cauliflower and I loved it on my goodness I could not stop eating it my mom also loved her soup and she said it was extremely filling For my main course I got the card sandwich and my mom got the power bowl both were really great to be House made tartar sauce on the codfish was super delicious and the parable was the sauce that they used on the power bowl was a good compliment

Salmon Leek Pie and Guiness Steak and Mushroom Pie in the back

Considering I went here twice within 3 weeks I would say that I really enjoy this place, especially this location since it's near my house. The service has been amazing both times but I will talk about my most recent visit. I met my friend here for lunch on a Monday and on Mondays they have their pie special which is any pie (Shepherd's, Chicken, etc.) with a side for only $10.99. My friend got the Guinness Steak and Mushroom Pie and I got the Salmon Leek Pie. I would have gotten the same thing as him but all the calorie counts freak me out. I've had the steak and mushroom pie before and it was delicious. The salmon leek pie I had this time was very tasty as well. The flavours just worked very well together and was salted just right for my palate. I would so come here again if I'm looking for pub food!

The fish and chips were overdone, I have never had fish a much deeper dark brown than the fries, which were golden. The fries were way-oversized potato wedges, which don't work well as fries. The tartar sauce and pickled cabbage were delicious along with the mushy peas. My girlfriend had the Cobb salad with chicken which was passable but not special. The service was prompt and drinks were perfect.

I was immediately impressed when I walked inside, as the place has plenty of cool decor and boasts a dimly-lit feel that I find irresistible. As I scanned the menu, I was eventually drawn to the Bramble Burger ("House ground, Cheddar, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickle, Bramble berry relish"), which comes with fries. And I feel like I made the right choice because it's one tasty hamburger. I wouldn't rank it with the best in the city, but all the components were right on target and I enjoyed the heck out of it. The fries were great, too. I don't know why it took us so long to check out Bramble Gastropub, but I think it's safe to say we'll be returning sometime very soon.

The menu leans fusion, so there was a lot to try, and overall it felt like a fun place to share plates and compare notes with the table. The cocktails definitely stood out for being stronger than the usual lighter, sweeter drinks you get elsewhere, and the smoky cinnamon one was probably the most memorable. For appetizers, the beef tartare with bone marrow was the clear winner for me. The tartare tasted bright and fresh, and the marrow was rich without feeling greasy. The mussels were also enjoyable, mostly because they were fresh and sat in a creamy broth that made the whole dish feel comforting. We also tried the octopus with pumpkin purée, which had a nice chewy texture and a lovely sweetness from the purée, although a slight charred taste came through more than I personally wanted. For mains, a few dishes landed better than others. The ribeye with chimichurri was one of the stronger choices, tender, properly cooked medium rare, and especially good with that sharp, herbaceous sauce. The ribs were also very tender and full of flavor. The salmon in puff pastry was enjoyable enough that I would order it again, even though the pastry itself was a little softer than I expected. The udon carbonara was decent and comforting, but probably not the most memorable thing on the table, and the signature chicken had flavorful meat even if the rice leaned a bit too soft for me. One small complaint I kept coming back to was the bread, which tasted more charred than I like. Still, Wilcox feels like a nice little spot for a relaxed dinner with drinks, especially if you go in the mood to share, explore the menu, and order a few of the stronger dishes.

You might think beer was my primary motivation, and in the beginning it was. Block 3 is a small batch craft brewery that delivers on tasty beer. They generally have ten to twelve beers on tap ranging from lagers, ales, sours and sometimes a stout. They are all delicious in their own right although drinking barrel aged fruited sours is an acquired taste in my book, but trust me try them and you may learn to love them. But why else should you go? There is limited food (it's a brewery not a restaurant), no TV's to watch the game, a steady stream of classic rock playing in the background, kids running around and a few dogs to greet you on the way in. To make matters worse the cell reception is awful, my wife always had a hard time reaching me. Hmm, maybe that's not all bad... What kind of place is this, anyway? It's a modern twist on an old fashioned FAMILY oriented brewery, that's what! There are plenty of board games to play, the local regulars are always happy to share some stories, and the staff are the coolest people around. They have a great Mug Club and if you are lucky you get your own hand-thrown pottery mug with your name on it! Very cool... As I mentioned in one of my check-ins, Block 3 is a benchmark craft brewery experience. I can't recommend this place highly enough,

Having been back here close to a dozen times over the last decade, I can firmly say this place is the perfect combination of gastro-ingenuity and traditional staples done right. The vibe is "industrial chic," which is essentially code for "I'm feeling something fancy, but still want to be able to visit in my Kirkland shorts." The food has a heavy focus on local ingredients, with flavors that are incredibly tight and well-balanced. The steak frites are so tender I'm pretty sure they were cut with a polite suggestion rather than a knife. The scallops are meaty and perfectly cooked. And of course the burger is absolutely mouthwatering and make it the tempting default option during each visit. The appetizers are all fantastic, Kat and the Korean cauliflower takes the cake! For desert, their house cheesecake is phenomenal, and their in house amber ale is full and flavourful. Our server was on the ball; the water was never empty, and the check ins were always at the right time. Verdict: 10/10. If you want western food with a fun twist and high quality ingredients, this is one spot you must check out!

The service was great, our server gave us a free latte because their coffee machine took forever to work. I got a hazelnut old fashion and it tasted amazing.
