Main St. Mocha Pie...Sweet and filling.
    Johnny W.

Not bad. Typical pub food. Calamari, bison burgers, chicken tenders, etc. Alright interior decor. Not bad service. Would recommend. Small parking area. But if you dine during peak hours or during the weekend, parking can extend throughout the rest of the plaza complex shared with Walmart, etc.

Great quality food. Great service. Quick and precise. Beautiful decor and fun environment. Kid and family friendly. Delicious food with many options. Gluten free and kids menu available along with wine list and drink menus. Clean well kept. Excellent service

Two great desserts: Cinnamon Bun Bread Pudding and Main St. Mocha Pie

Our group was seated right away at a great table by a window with views of the TVs behind the bar (great for us to watch the opening ceremonies of the Olympics!). We were served by Emma - such a warm and welcoming person - who made recommendations for the Bang Bang Shrimp to start, and Shrimp & Truffle Rigatoni. A manager (Justin) came by and suggested we try the Cinnamon Bun Bread Pudding in addition to our go-to Main St. Mocha Pie. So happy for the suggestion - you have to try the Cinnamon Bread Bun Pudding dessert! Meant to take a photo to show you the desserts, but they went fast!!!

i actually first visited the location out in kitchener-waterloo and had a really bad experience years ago...so i was a bit uneasy about checking out the vaughan location. however, im so glad i did! and i gotta say that the vaughan location is one of my favourite go to places! we visited over the summer so they had their full menu, but w.the new covid measures they reduced the menu and took off the calamari (nooooooooo!! pls bring it back! i dont even like calamari but i enjoyed it here oh so much!!!). service is always a solid 5/5. staff and management are super polite, friendly and wore their ppe properly. the restaurant has covid safety protocols in place. 6ft between tables and/or partitions in place. bathrooms are clean too! food 5/5. throughout all our visits we have tried the baja brussel sprouts, bang bang shrimp, dragon boat lettuce wraps, both their spanako flatbread and the margherita one, fish tacos, fish n chips, veggie burger, caesar salad and the westcoast chopped salad! everything was always made to order - hot, fresh and deeeeeeelicious! drinks/cocktails 5/5 decent listing of wine and cocktails. definitely not watered down and boozey! we love state & main!

I stopped by for dinner with a friend and this location and it was definitely worth it! We ordered "The Main" burger, chicken enchiladas and the jalapeños Mac and cheese. The food was really good but the mac and cheese was easily the best dish. Our waiter was very nice and the atmosphere is great! Will definitely come back again!

Cute place to eat, the patio is really nice and not busy at all during lunch time. I got the chicken teriyaki bowl and my friend got the chicken avo wrap. Quite pricey for how much food you get but overall not bad.

Kids Mac & Cheese. Best I've had!

We spoke to the manager weeks in advance and he had given us three options of a preset menu to pick from. When we arrived in a Thursday evening, the place was packed. We figured it's because the government has been wishy washy about clothing places down again because of the pandemic. So we didn't mind waiting. Except we had reservations at 7:30 and sat down at 8:15. It just kept getting messier from here Although we already discussed a present menu, we were offered regular menu and had to once again say we discussed a preset menu weeks in advance. Option of a salad, main and dessert. I won't speak for my colleagues but I wasn't impressed at all. I got the iceberg something salad. was literally an iceberg lettuce DRENCHED in blue cheese dressing. I didn't finish it. Then I ordered a steak and lobster. That was the only thing that worked for me. My steak was good through and my lobster was done right. For dessert, all I wanted was a cheesecake to which they didn't have so I literally didn't have a dessert. It was a pie/cobbler option or an ice cream cake option. But because it was a preset menu, each member of the party still was to pay the $70. Im glad my company paid for everything but still. I just wasn't impressed enough to say I enjoyed my experience. If it wasn't for my colleagues.

Ordered the specialty burger with onion rings, made my allergy known, and they brought out all new utensils and gave the grill an extra cleaning. Very much appreciated by myself. The onion rings were perfectly done, stayed crispy. The burger, though... oh, the burger... Montreal smoked meat on the burger, with caramelized mushrooms, peppers, the usual garnishes, and their special sauce... I have been to thier location in Mississauga and the experience there was exceptional in every way....But this Hwy 7 location close to 427 hwy was a nightmare and I will never be coming back to this location ever again !!!! FOOD 2/5  let's start with the food prep the middle aged afro-American man making my sandwich was dropping pieces of smoked meat on the counter on the scale then putting it back in my sandwich ..then he only put on one glove yet he was touching my sandwich with his hand that had no glove.  The food was thrown into container so carelessly that the coleslaw container lid was not closed and all the juices spilled out and soaked into my  sandwich bread all wet and soggy. The meat portion was decent but I did not enjoy the sandwich on soggy bread and the coleslaw itself was horrible in taste possibly not fresh . The stinginess at this place is off the charts!!! I asked for a pepper instead of a pickle and I got neither with my sandwich ...at the other locations you always get a pickle or hot cherry pepper with your sandwich ...then I ask for some mustard and she gives me a small plastic cup with less then a half of a packet of mustard in it as shown in my picture with a boat load of attitude on top of it. I got no napkins and no fork or spoon to eat the coleslaw with I had to return inside restaurant and ask for one that's how stingy this restaurant is with their customers. SERVICE...0/5 Horiuble service , attitude !attitude!!From the moment I walked in, the white middle aged lady does not know what the word smile means and greeting your customers in a friendly manner...she seemed to have an issue and attitude with everything i ordered . Extremely rude . Unfriendly and had no clue what customer service means .. This was a classic book example 101 of what not to do or how to treat your paying customers .for a sandwich and a drink with nothing else it cost me $22 plus tax so I would expect much better service and quality in their food prep ....the owner should fire these workers and hire new people cause I surely wood .  Stay away from this location not recomended at all!!!

It is an easy place to pop in for dinner without too much planning, especially during the week when you can usually get seated without a wait. Our consistent go-to's: braised meatballs, mozzarella sticks, public Caesar (my fave in the city better than Jacob's imo) ciao bella rigatoni, and the steak frites. Their burger and tiramisu is good too. The first time I ordered their ciao Bella rigatoni for some reason it wasn't good, but after that I keep ordering it cuz it HITS. We've tried their salami pizza and the chicken parm I thought was mid. Their drinks are amazing though, my fave is the tiramisu martini but I also love their other cocktails. The Milan melon is delish, so is the rosemary limon spritz and the bellini is refreshing. The cocktail list in general is elite for a king west restaurant. On weekends it is much busier and often fully booked, so reservations are a must, but if you come right when they open for lunch at 12 pm, you can walk in, but it fills up quickly. Service has always been super friendly and consistent, which is part of why we keep coming back. Overall, it is a dependable spot with good food, good drinks, and a lively atmosphere.

Upon entering I was really impressed by the view, I loved how the entire dining area is surrounded by windows, it feels like you're eating in the sky (you're on the 38th floor!). Note that it's around $20 for a window seat, which is a bit pricey in my opinion. Here's everything we ordered: Aera cornbread: This was the item I was most excited for! I love corn bread and this one was delicious. The inside was soft and pillowy, and the outside was crispy. The aged cheddar and honey butter were a nice touch that really elevated the dish! I could taste the pimento cheese inside as well, which I don't usually like because I don't like the taste of bell peppers, but I still really liked it. Maritime lobster spaghetti: This was rich and delicious! I could really taste the lobster bisque and lobster butter. It also had a decent amount of lobster in it and the portion was huge. I did ask for chilli flakes on the side because I love a kick. Rigatoncini: This one disappointed me a bit. I felt like it was missing something, the sauce tasted quite plain. We paid to add chicken but it was quite flavourless and bland. Amelia cocktail: Very refreshing and citrusy, would definitely get this again. Our waitress was so sweet and brought us free brownies because it was his birthday! You're definitely paying for the view and ambiance but I think it's perfect for a nice dinner. You're looking out over the entire Toronto skyline from the top of The Well. It's one of those places that just pulls you in. Usually "pretty food" means you leave hungry, but not here. The four of us were actually full, and the whole night it was just "this is good... wait, this one too." The menu blends Japanese and French influences, which makes it much more suited to an Asian palate--not your typical Western fine dining experience. 1. We ordered the chef's special wagyu steak. It was good, but a bit on the fatty side. A friend who's been twice suggested going with the regular steak instead--better texture and flavor overall. 2. Roasted Brussels sprouts--highly recommend. I usually find them bitter no matter how they're cooked, but here they were crispy with zero bitterness. Surprisingly good. 3. Lobster pasta--5/5, absolutely worth it. It has this slightly nostalgic, almost shrimp-snack kind of flavor, but with real lobster richness. Very unique and memorable. 4. Foie gras--solid dish. Exactly what you'd expect, I'd give it a 4/5. 5. Grilled octopus--also a 4/5. Well executed, nothing to complain about. 6. We got a seafood tower (not sure what they call it exactly). Presentation was beautiful--almost theatrical. Flavor-wise it's what you'd expect: lobster, uni, oysters, mussels, sashimi-style items. Good for sharing with a group. 7. There was a grilled fish dish we tried--it was just okay. Slightly fishy for my taste. Reminded me a bit of mackerel. I'd probably try their black cod next time instead. 8. There was also a salad with a texture and taste similar to yacon--slightly earthy, a bit unexpected. Not bad, just different.
