Stopped by this place for lunch with some cousins visiting from out of town. The restaurant has a very unique design with a truck parked inside the restaurant. Me and my cousin were trying to determine how they got the truck inside LOL. We got a little bit of everything from the menu. Everything tasted so good, with the right amount of spicy and seasoning. As a Indian myself, there aren't many Indian restaurants that have great tasting food. The service was quick and sufficient. The server made sure numerous times if we were doing ok or if we wanted to order anything else. Although it was a busy restaurant the time we had gone. The service was well done. They also have live music from 8pm and onwards. Definitely a place to check out!

Went for lunch after listening to radio ads and Rajveer talk that the food is the very good and just like Delhi . Ordered Fish Pakoda , Mutton Roganjosh, Missi Roti and Roomali Roti . Fish Pakoda was good but lacked Delhi style flavours and spice , also the pudhina chutney was not upto the mark . Mutton Roganjosh was overloaded with salt and after tasting we immediately call the manager who said he will change it but he said May be your taste is different . We requested him to go back to the kitchen with dish and taste the mutton salt level and finally he took it back and replaced it after 10 minutes saying that salt level was okay and that is how we prepare . Very Surprised that Manager was hell bent on saying he is right and the customer is wrong . We humbly accepted the dish and the salt level was again Same extremely high . We ate one piece from the dish just to finish off quickly as realized we made a mistake coming here and whatever ad campaign is flowing on radio channel is give misinformation that the food is Delhi Style . I am a Delhite and have lived more than 30 years in Delhi and being a foodie I know the taste profile very well . Even the guest who I invited for the meal at Tikka Junction had the same opinion. Missi Roti was bland , no onions/green chilli on Missi Roti as we get in Delhi . Just having music won't suffice , please focus on creating good quality and taste for your food items and always listen to your customers , they will give you genuine feedback , value it ! Staff training is another component Rajveer needs to focus on . Overall Disappointing Experience

We were the only ones there at the time and I loved it - felt like a private lunch. Some heated patios still feel cold, but it was actually really warm here which I love. We had a great server as well who brought us free hot chocolate, the hot water we asked for as well as additional water without even asking! We both ordered their Mushroom Sirloin which is my go-to whenever I visit a Moxies and this was probably the best one I've had up to now. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and they were so generous with their mash potatoes and veggies portion!! I think this was probably double the portion of what I got when I visited another location. Overall, we had an amazing time here and will definitely visit this location again now that restrictions are lifted!

The steak was hard as rock even asking for it to be medium rare. The waitress and host also noticed that it was over cooked twice as I couldn't even cut the steak up wit the whole table shaking. The were nice and offered complimentary dessert and took the steak out of my bill however it left a really bad taste and not a good experience with the food.

My rating is 3.5 stars. I'm rounding down. I am into happy hour menus. I find it a feat to figure out where all Pickle Barrel locations are in the greater Toronto area. I discovered this one at Bramalea City Centre when I used mall entrance 1 to get to a store. I made a mental note to check this eatery out. I came here after work last Monday to try their happy hour menu. After doing a bit of shopping, I took the escalator down. This Pickle Barrel has a to-go counter if you'd like to grab some food and drinks. Otherwise, you can dine in, which is what I did last week. I got a friendly female staffer at the front. I was looking for a table for me. She asked me whether I wanted to be near a window. I was good with whatever was available. I ended up in a cheerful area by the bar with natural light coming in thanks to all the windows. I got a female staffer who worked at the bar. This eatery wasn't terribly busy at around 3:30 pm on a Monday afternoon. She was nice, but seemed to be handling all orders with maybe five tables with customers. I got these items: - Diet Coke - Steak frites with sautéed mushrooms I asked that my steak be cooked medium. She asked whether I wanted sautéed mushrooms. I said yes. My Diet Coke came out first. It had a lemon wedge. It was cold and yummy. It took a long time to get a drink refill. Sam was another staffer who took over from this woman's bar duties. It was only when he approached my table that I was able to ask for a refill. It wasn't the best communication-wise that a shift change had commenced. I was just happy to get a drink refill. My steak frites came out next. I was looking forward to having this meal. What was disappointing was cutting through the sirloin steak. It looked like it was well-done with my first cut. I tried again and it looked briefly medium-well in the centre, but well-done around it. It was dry such that I went into a coughing fit for a brief period. It did not help that I was running low on Diet Coke. This meal came with fries. They were fine. Nothing to write home about. They came with ketchup, which was nice. I loved the sautéed mushrooms. They provided some moisture that the steak needed. I didn't bother with dessert. I asked Sam for the bill. I paid at the table. I tipped and tapped. Done! I used the washroom before I left. It had good signage. The women's washroom was clean. Here's hoping that my experience wasn't the norm. I'd like to try other items off the menu and see whether I get a better experience next time. I arrived around 7:00 PM for dinner and was able to get seated without a reservation, though it was clear that many guests had reservations as the restaurant quickly filled up. They offer a full bar with a great selection of beers, cocktails, and spirits. The dinner menu features an excellent variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. I started with the Chicken 65 appetizer and followed it with the Punjabi Goat Curry and Chili Garlic Naan. The Chicken 65 was absolutely phenomenal--wow, wow, and wow! The chicken was perfectly cooked and tossed with onions, garlic, and tomatoes that were blended and cooked down into a rich, flavorful sauce. Every bite was packed with bold spices and authentic flavors that made it one of the best versions of the dish I've had. The Punjabi Goat Curry was equally outstanding--tender, rich, and bursting with flavor. Paired with the Chili Garlic Naan, it made for a memorable meal. The portion sizes were very generous and could easily feed two people, making it an excellent value for the quality and quantity of food served. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and energetic. If you're looking for authentic, high-quality Indian cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. The Chicken 65 and Punjabi Goat Curry are must-try dishes. Thanks to Avreen for the recommendation--I'll definitely be coming back again!

March 29/2026: Dinner with my Al…read more This was an amazing experience. There were no issues with the meal or the service except a minor miss in the service of the items. Our start was the Cauliflower Bites ($12.00). They were heavily deep fried with a chipotle dip. The bites were very good & hot. The dip was tasty & hot but not too hot. The mains were the Butter Chicken ($21.00) & Tandoori Salmon ($28.00). The Butter Chicken was delicious & tasty. Little more chicken in the order would have been good but the sauce was fabo! Even though I'm not a salmon fan, the grilled salmon was delicious as well. This was all made possible by a chilli naan ($7.00). The wait staff were polite & very willing to serve. The ambiance showed as clean & well cared for. I did not use the washroom. This is a 100% do over!!
