November 25, 2025 - We (7) split the chicken karahi family platter (which came with a chicken karahi of choice (Potohari Chicken Karahi), rice, BBQ, 2 naan, salad, raita), a family naan, and a lentil dish. The portions were huge and all the food was really good. As per usually curry, the sauce was quite heavy, but this isn't really a complaint, just a general observation. There were several veges (red onions, cucumber, tomato, lettuce) on the side to offset the thickness of the curry. The karahi also had a little kick to it as there were jalapenos in in the curry, but nothing too strong if you don't want, as you can easily remove the jalapenos. The naan were very thick and chewy. It could easily be used to scoop up the additional curry sauce. The lentils were good too. It was made in a thick sauce. No complaints with the food here. read more

Had a good experience dining at Karahi Boys, with the food being the definite highlight. The Lahori Fish was light, crispy, and packed with flavour. Following that, the Chicken Karahi was delicious, well seasoned, and paired nicely with the house made naan. Decent food but overpriced, and slow and inconsistent service. Poor service but decent - if overpriced - food. The service is really weird in here. I went in a day when they were almost empty and had like 6-7 staff members wandering around. We got seated quickly but then nobody came to take our order after 15 minutes. Then it took almost 40 minutes for our food to arrive and it only came out after we flagged someone down to find out what was taking so long. After we were served nobody checked up on our table to see if they wanted to order anything else or to clear our plates. Eventually we also had to find someone to get our bill. Each person we interacted with was different. It seems there are no servers just roaming staff not paying attention. The food was decent, the beef kahari was solid, so was the naan. Potato current was pretty flavourless though. The decor and atmosphere feels dated, the lack of actual menus is annoying too. The clientele is people who don't wear shoes or socks (see photo). If you do decide to go here, check the menu in advance online and order as soon as you walk in, don't expect any service, just get it done yourself. read more

Pakistani BBQ restaurant that is delicious. I had a chance to try almost everything that was vegetarian on the menu. Moti Mehal Paneer Karahi was delicious and flavourful. It includes bell pepper, onion, green chilis and paneer (Indian cottage cheese). The family naan was soft and fluffy and our server Aryan recommended butter with it. The garlic naan was perfect not an over powering taste of garlic. The dessert, Gullab Jaman ice cream was very enjoyable. The warm Gullab Jaman provides a nice balance between hot and cold. You have the option of chosing from three different flavours of ice cream which are strawberry, vanilla and mango. Overall it was an amazing experience. The only negative to this restaurant is prices. I believe they are a bit high however it is quality food, with a clean atmosphere and excellent customer service. read more

Visited Karahi boys with some family friends for a get together. We visited for lunch on a weekend and were able to get seated without a reservation. We ordered a few kababs and their signature chicken Karahi (one spicy and one mild). The kebabs were very well made - flavourful, moist and charred. The Karahi was full of flavour. I did find it a bit oily however. That's the reason for my one star off. We also ordered the large naan which is presented beautifully on a sword hook type of thing. The concept is great, the execution not so much. I really wanted to LOVE this place as I really enjoy authentic Pakistani food. The setting is decent; booths and tables. The menu was entirely online, so if you don't have data, you are stuck! The positive- the food is tasty. We ordered the karahi chicken and karahi goat. Karahi is a style of cooking- karahi means the south Asian version of a wok. The curry is a thicker sauce. Both dishes were really good. We also ordered the bbq platter which came with a mix of grilled meats: beef kebab, chicken kebab, chicken cubes, and tikka kebabs. This arrived in a sizzling platter, all delicious. The naans were huge and really well made. The drinks were fantastic. A menu of mock tails and all the drinks were great. The virgin pina colada was amazing! The negative- the timing was off. They were not incredibly busy, but there was a good number of customers and a lot of servers, which is great. It took forever for someone to come and get our order. We were a party of ten, so hard to miss us. We had to ask someone to finally come over. Our orders were taken and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. But the naans took forever. So if you bring out sizzling platters and woks of food, you need to bring out the naans in a reasonable amount of time, otherwise we are just eating meat! There were hardly any condiments served with the food, and this is almost a must. A tiny pot of green chutney for the entire table was served. No yogurt based side, normally given complimentary at other places. A plate of salad came out as our meal ended. So the service was poor. Items came out in drips, and that would not be an issue if the naan was served first. Perhaps half the naans served? Instead of waiting for all of them to be made? Next- the bathrooms. Disgusting. Don't go here. Fortunately I did not see this myself but several of my family members decided to go and then returned saying they would rather wait. Enough said. Overall- this place might be great for a takeout and the drinks are very cool. I don't think I will be returning to eat in the premises. Better management is needed. read more

Came here with a friend who raves about the food here. We got one of the goat dishes, okra, and Naan. The goat is spiced perfectly and has great flavour. It's not a crazy good value for the price but it's decent for 2 people. Placed right across Canada wonderland & close to hwy 400 & 407, Karahi Boys has their unique concept of serving all their traditional dishes in a Karhai. Also, all their flavourful tandoori dishes were filled with spices and grilled to perfection. What all did I try? KBoys Chicken Karahi - It's a tomato-based, traditional Lahori-style chicken made with yogurt, tomatoes and fresh spices and served in Karhai. Aashik Chicken Seekh Kebab - Straight from the tandoor, these chicken kebabs were juicy, flavourful and marinated with Kboys fresh spices. Paneer Tikka - The charcoal-grilled tandoori paneer was induced with some fresh Kboys spices and, were massive in size. They were deliciously tender and just got melted in the mouth in no seconds. Butter Garlic Naan (Jumbo Size) - The jumbo-sized Naan was cooked in tandoor with garlic, cilantro. It was buttered to perfect and came out soft as a pillow. Chicken Dum Biryani - Relished some delicious slow-cooked Biryani after a long time. Spices, rice and chicken were on point. The spices and aromas of this food is incredible! The sauce has so much flavour and the meats are cooked so soft and tender, the chicken is juicy falls off the bone like nothing. My only complaint is: I wish they had beer. But I think it's Islamic- so I guess it makes sense that they don't serve alcohol. Other than that the food was outstanding. read more

Been wanting to try this place for a long time, we had the chicken Karahi beef behari kabob the chicken was falling off the bone, it's pricey though but the food was very tasty, the gravy was amazing really good flavour, excellent service, im curious how chicken Karahi will taste in Pakistan but I would say this is good enough for Canada, probably won't come back here again it's not something I can eat everyday it is pretty heavy dish, and quite filling it's something that's meant to share with at least 3 or four people, the spice was perfect balance, and they gravy was smooth texture and chicken melts in your mouth, the Bihari kabob was okay I think the main thing when you come to Karahi joys is the Karahi and they have a variety of them, the service was excellent, there's a u inquest way of displaying the naaan they hang it on a rack and you can tear a piece from there, the lassi was amazing not to sweet but won't taste like India or Pakistan but good effort overall great job, amazing food and excellent service read more

Using the word mind blowing undersells karahi boys for me. This is the place that could twist my arm in moving to Toronto. The foundation is the sauce that karahi boys uses in its chicken, goat and paneer karahi. Add to that the good quality cut of goat that is seldom seen at restaurants and you get a delicious dish that you are tempted to finish even if you are full with delicious naans that you can eat by themselves. They are not a one trick pony though, their kebabs are delicious and could stand on their own. All in all, I am looking forward to my next Toronto visit and eat at Karahi boys. This is a new addition to the already amazing strip of Lawrence. It's a welcome addition to the plethora of Arab restaurants in the area. This new Pakistani restaurant took over a pub that existed earlier. They serve Karahi, delicious fresh items. We ordered chicken KBoys Karahi, which is their special. We also ordered their shrimp appetizer. Service was top-notch even though the place is fairly new. They serve their meats in 1/2 kg and 1 kg portions. This helps it become a family style restaurant. I would highly recommend! It seated 250 so I'm sure you can do large groups as well. Can't wait to come back!! read more

Karahi Boys is my sister and mine favourite. We are so choosy when it comes to Biryani. Karahi Boys deserve to get an award for making the Best Biryani. Then * Kadha Keema *it was so delicious . Bihari Kabab I'll say it was lil bit hard but taste was good I hope they'll make it tendered and Juicy next time. My sister's favourite Mushtanda Tandoori Wings (Highly Recommend) only the con part was it was lil bit spicy but one of the best chicken wings I had ever had cause I'm not a overall fan of chicken wings. I'll definitely suggest everyone to go Karahi Boys. We also had -- Kboys Chicken Karahi, Toofani Shrimp and Gawal Mandi Chana Daal. We ordered the Potohari chicken karahi 1kg, bihari beef, Chaana daal, Family naan and kheer. This was enough food for 5. My favorite was the beef. The spices were tastier. I found the chicken a little dry. I'm not a fan of kheer but the others were. Also after trying it, although I don't enjoy kheer I have to admit it was good. We were looking for a restaurant to replace Lahore tikka house since their hours are shorter. Glad to say we have found the replacement. Food is a bit pricy but the quality is consistent. This location is larger than the one in Mississauga. Nice vibe inside and good music. Waiters were very helpful. read more

I visited Karahi Boys for the first time the other day, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. I was welcomed by Hadee and he provided excellent customer service, recommended amazing dishes made by their cooks. You have to try the Gulab Jamun IceCream, it will leave you wanting more. I'm pretty disappointed in this place considering all of the positive reviews...the KBoys Chicken Karahi was an absolute disgrace for close to $40. Supposedly a 1 kg serving of Karahi, I literally counted 2 tiny cubes of breast, 1.5 wings, and a bunch of leftover looking chicken bits which were all just bone and pieces of bone. Eating it was a pain, as every bite ended up having a few little bits of bone in it that you would then need to fish out. The decor and service were good and the food tasted decent, but after this try I think I'll skip Karahi Boys for now. read more

I hive been a regular loyal customer, right from the time the Mississauga location opened It has been one of our favourite places to go to and invite friends whenever we wanted to enjoy good Food We have always enjoyed our visits, the food has bee tasty, the service friendly i am very sorry to say that it seems this connection is about to be broken. We were very surprised after our visit yesterday,. . We noticed only on being presented the bill that you have quietly increased the prices. A half chicken Karachi was charged at more than $ 32. to add insult to injury, each of the 2 naans ware charged at 3.49 for a total of over $ 44. This really spoiled our enjoyment and certainly it is NO value for money, specially the charges for naan are totally out of any reality There are certainly other places we can go to whee we get a MUCH better value for money, including good food, attentive service Also the meals include salads, , rice or burgurul on the side and the bread is FREE and complimentary i am sure you must have some reason for the increased prices, but do not be surprised if you a lot of loyal customers When i visited your web site the Karahi wa priced at 28 but we were charged 32 thank you for giving us a p;pace where we enjoyed and we will certainly miss it . but t with these prices it is now out of out reach and bucket list we wish you all the best read more

I am giving this place a 1 star but wish I could give it 0 stars. If you want terrible customer service on a weekday night too (when they're not even super busy) - go here. I do not live in Toronto and return to see my parents once every 3-4 months. We went to the restaurant knowing it would be a 20-30 min wait for food as they cook everything from scratch which was totally okay with us. We ordered chicken briyani, beef Karahi, chicken seekh kabab and 2 naans. After 40 minutes, everything came out except for the briyani. The server, a guy, dropped off our food confirmed the chicken briyani was on it's way. Another 10 minutes passed by and our main server confirmed twice with us that the briyani was definitely on its way. We were really really looking forward to the briyani and had ordered enough food for dinner and maybe leftovers. I was saving room for the main dish as well. 15 minutes passed by after the 3 dishes arrived when our main server came to us and said 'the kitchen has run out of Chicken briyani, would you like anything else'. Almost 1 hour into waiting at the restaurant, we were told that THE main dishes we ordered and were so looking forward to would not be arriving. She said the servers "cannot talk to the kitchen" and it "was not her fault" that this has happened. What kind of excuse is that??? We asked to speak to anyone running the place and she informed us "no one is here" and "I cannot do anything for you". The guy server offered us 20% off our bill which we accepted right away (no haggling b/c we just wanted to leave) and then the main server came back 10 minutes later telling us she could only do "actually 10%". THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THIS DAY!! There is something very very wrong with the way this restaurant is run and honestly you can spend your money on better food and service in Scarborough with your loved ones. Going out to dinner with my family was one of the most stressful experiences of my week and I was very unhappy with how the restaurant handled the situation. I went here for a dinner on a Saturday night around 5:00. At this time I was able to get seating right away as I heard if I go in later then 6:00 pm there is a long wait. The ambiance is beautiful and restaurant itself has a different look then any other Pakistani restaurant. It tries the fine dining look. I ordered the shrimp and wings for appetizers which came in right away and were amazing! I was told the mains would take about half an hour to make A's it is fresh. I went ahead and ordered the chicken Karahi and goat I believe it was potihari. I also ordered the briyani, family naan, and the seasame naan. The order came in a decent time frame. The briyani was okay but the Karachi's were good. I must comment on the portion size was decent but the meat portion lacked. It was mainly bones. I was happy with thr sesame naan. My bill came over $100, which I thought wee pricey for the food that was purchased. I would defiantly Go back for the appetizers!
