The samosas were huge, one was meat and one was vegetable, but still my favourite thing here is the butter chicken meat was tender, sauce was creamy. Spectacular

The staff were very friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the noise was just enough for us to hear everything my table mates were saying.

I haven't had a chance to get to Zeera during the pandemic and I have missed it terribly so tonight I hopped onto Uber Eats and placed an order! I opted for some oldies but goodies and a couple of dishes I hadn't tried before. The bread basket is definitely a must have. All of their naan is delicious and I can never choose just one kind. Why not get an assortment? The other staple I ordered was Aloo Gobi. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked, as always. The dishes I hadn't tried before at Zeera were their chicken biryani and paneer korma. Both dishes were incredible and I will definitely order them again. I've had saag paneer countless times but I've never heard of paneer korma. I love korma so how could I go wrong? A definite winner! (I made my own Raita though.) When you compare price to serving sizes, it's one of the more expensive restaurants I go to but when I'm in the mood for Indian cuisine, Zeera is my go-to!

We ordered the following items for delivery through Ubereats, to respond to our Samosa Chaat…read morecravings. # Samosa chaat : Unfortunately, it was disappointing. What I look for in Samosa Chaat is the different textures. Samosa's edges were completely soaked in overly sweet sauce, and there was not rispy fresh veggies and Sev (small pieces of deep fried Indian noodles). As a result, the texture was mono-tone, and too sweet to my liking. There was no hint of sourness (like from yogurt or citrus). There are different variations in Samosa Chaat, and people's preferences are diverse. Just that this place's Samosa Chaat was not impressing to me. # Butter chicken: It was spicy, there were a lot of tender chicken breast pieces with a nice hint of charcoal - which is great! But the sauce was too sweet to me, and it kind of interfered with my enjoyment of the spices/heat. # Naan: I felt they were dry and flat, and lacked flavor. # Samosa: I liked the potato and dough balance, and the texture of the dough. The main issue that I personally had was the level of sweetness in some of the items. They just did not hit my preferred balance of spice & sweet & tanginess.

They were recommended to us by word of mouth as a family friendly Indian restaurant in the area with both vegetarian and meat options. Service was pleasant and the ambiance was clean. Golgappa, fish pakora, fresh naan and paneer makhani were very good. Palak paneer and aloo gobi was nice. We enjoyed the desserts namely the rasmalai, rice kheer, gulab jamun, and the semolina "halwa" (sooji ka halwa). By the end of the meal we had had enough of our share to indulge in a bowl of ice cream. We were very pleased to see fruits like watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew on the buffet table.

They offer vegetarian options, meat options, simple salads, a variety of fruits and ice cream for dessert. Fresh naan is also included, brought to your table. I had a little from each station and it was all good! Everything was very flavourful but my favourites would have to be the Mutton Curry, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Chickpeas, and the Naan. The vegetarian options were very good but I'm more of a carnivore. It would have been nice to have a bigger selection of salad items. I'll be back!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered an chaat and a Madras chicken. The chaat was loaded with toppings and fried on the spot. While I ordered the curry by itself (had rice at home) The place also has combo meals that includes basmati rice and salad for a similar cost. I will be returning to try their other curry flavours.

I arrived at 1pm. The plaza this place is located in is pretty bad and the parking lot could use some serious TLC. Once you enter the restaurant area it's not that bad, although the dining area is quite cramped. The kitchen and takeout area is in the back. I took a seat and was given a menu and a pitcher of water. There were metal cups on the table already. I went with the mint tikka chicken and an order of naan. Shortly after the waitress brought some condiments. One plate was sliced red onions, pickled carrots with cardamom and finely shredded daikon. The second plate had three 3 sauces, a red pepper sauce, yoghurt sauce, and a green chilli sauce. These were all great accompaniments to my meal. The chicken was served on a hot plate wth a bed of onions and the portion was quite large. The pieces of chicken breast had a great green colour and you could tell the chicken had been marinated for some time. It was great, the chicken was moist and great with the sauces and condiments provided. The naan was served piping hot, so light and not oily. I really enjoyed this meal and will definitely come back when I can.

Having been in Ontario for about 6 months now, the one thing that I have been made familiar of by…read moreonline videos, articles and casual conversations with acquaintainces who have been around for years over here is that Brampton is THE place for Punjabi food. With this in mind and being the glutton I am, I made it a point to book my second Covid vaccination appointment in a center at Brampton despite it being a fair distance away. The thought was that if I had to make the drive all the way there, I might as well get something important done as well. I searched reviews on the internet and finally zeroed in on King Tandoori to be the place that would grant me the life changing culinary experience that I was seeking. When we finally made it to Brampton, my expectations were sky high and then we entered this place. Obscure Punjabi music I had never heard before. Check. Slightly dingy environment. Check. Punjabi staff and patrons. Check. This was all beginning to look like it would be a fantastic & authentic experience. I went ahead and ordered the standard 3 items that have always held a special place in my heart..and added a few inches to my waist line over the years - Butter Chicken, Tandoori chicken and Butter Naan. When the sizzling tandoori chicken arrived, I was really excited and then with great anticipation, I tasted it aaand.......to my utter disappintment, it was not seasoned properly !! Surely, this could not be right, I thought and checked in with my wife who said the same thing. The butter chicken arrived and that wasn't great either. Extremely mild and lacking the spices I am used to. The butter naans were good though but then who messes that up. The underwhelming experience really spoilt my mood but there were a few positives. The service was excellent and the rasmalai we had at the end was good too. I am sure this was't the best that Brampton has to offer so I am hoping I choose a better restaurant the next time. As for this place, I might not be back again.
