Scarborough has a lot of Indian food places to choose from. I picked here for their high reputation and the convenience. They have free parking space in front of them. Even during the rush hour, there's a space. I knew it as I drive by every day for my commute. Perfect for pick-up after a busy day at work! Their channa masala is great! Big portion, came with a cup of rice. Gravy is thick, hearty. The chickpeas are soft enough to easily mash on the tongue but still keep their shape and very very slight nutty crunchatvthe very core. Delicate. Perfect balance of savory Gravy and peas. They have spice level options. I chose medium plus. I liked it but thought the spice may be overpowering the natural taste of other players. Will try lower spice level next time. Will visit here more to try other dishes!!

The flavour of the Chana, okra, and one other vegetarian dish were all really good. Even the appetizers hit! I also didn't feel super bloated or oily after eating, so would definitely order again from here. My favourite was definitely Chana with the naan. Looking forward to ordering some meat dishes the next time I'm there.

Everyone enjoyed the meal. Our only take would be that the Fried Vegetable Bites/Balls were supposed to be delivered with the sauce separate on the side - this was not the case, and the tray was all soggy and mushed :( Hopefully next time we can get the bites crunchy! Paneer E Khaas - cottage cheese with a delicious savory spinach gravy! Mmm, that green sauce soooo good - YOU gotta try this one! Veggie Diwani Handi - a beautifully spiced curried assortment of cauliflower, green peas, potatoes, baby corn - and more! It's a definite favorite for the entire crowd! Vegetable Samosas - delivered crispy with a TRIO SAUCE DIP OTS! How awesome is that!? Buttered Naan - great chew, slightly charred, oh so buttery - don't you dare skip this one! You need them for all the sauceeeeee to dip! Speaking of sauce and needs - BIRYANI (rice) with vegetables! The way they craft this dish is so delicious- packed with flavours and spices. Be sure to give it a good mix before you serve! Chicken Tikka Masala - marinated & grilled - smothered in a creamy tomato based curry. All the trays were so carefully wrapped, packaged, and delivered - I AM TELLING YOU - NOTHING SPILLED (BOTH TIMES WE HAVE ORDERED - look at the pictures)! Teams are friendly and so attentive to your catering needs. Thank you for another delicious catering Khau Gully Team!

I only ordered the mid spicy so it can get a lot hotter for those who want it. Tandoori momos: delicious pork filled dumplings. The tangy sauce is what makes this an enjoyable dish. Delhi butter chicken: decent portion and nice sauce. A good dish Kashmiri lamb roganjosh: setting aside the "Josh Rogan" jokes, this is a decent dish with a good portion. Curry was nice and strong. Deceptively spicy. Chicken Biryani: delicious. Interesting now they cover it with a naan to keep it moist. Delicious as well and generous with the chicken. Decor is typical but I'm not a fan of the dark look. Didn't feel as clean as it could be because of it. Overall solid and we will be back.

I had to find a quick solution and spoke to Jaipur and ordered me a full tray of the best butter chicken in the world and 3 garlic naans. Chunky pieces of juicy flavourful tandoori chicken swimming in a pool of buttery tomato sauce was so addictive ! They make the best gravy!! We could just eat this every day! They loaned us a aluminum restaurant tray so we could transport it home safely. I can't believe we polished the tray off in 2 days.My goodness! I knew I had to write another review bc my last review was from 6 yrs ago. Salivating just looking at the pictures I posted. Tomorrow I'm placing 2 additional orders of this glorious creation and will portion them out and freeze them like we initially discussed with Jaipur. Amritsari fish is quite tasty too. One day I will try other items on the menu but Butter Chicken is must every time I visit!

The restaurant is quite small however, nice quaint and very clean. We ordered a number of dishes: Chicken 65, The Spinach Paneer, Lamb Korma and Butter Chicken. We also ordered sides of Rice and Naan. The Chicken 65 was an appetizer. It was a fried chicken fritter similar to a boneless chicken wing. It was delicious and had some kick. The best way to describe the dish would be small bites of chicken covered in a pakora batter. So instead of onion its chicken. The Spinach Paneer was great. It had good flavor and had great texture. It paired nicely with the naan. The Butter Chicken was nice and creamy. It also had a nice a nice hint of sweetness. It was very good. I enjoyed eating it with the basmati rice. The star of the show was the lamb korma. The best part was the texture of the lamb. It was not overly gamey, and it melted in your mouth. The only slight knock on the food was the Naan could have been a little better. It was a little pita like. It wasn't bad, just not what I am used to. The service was great. Our server checked up on us frequently. This has to be some of the best Indian food I've had in a while. This will now be my go-to Indian restaurant. I really can't wait to return.

Now that I've become a full time baseball dad where travelling outside of the GTA is part of the…read moregig, I now have an excuse to take my foodie road show to far (farther) away places. As part of the exhibition season, the first stop takes us to Caledon. We decided to go there early to beat the traffic and to find a nice place to eat an early pre-game dinner and to hang out for a little bit (by hanging out we really mean to finish his Chinese school/math homework...LOL). Of all the types of cuisine available in Caledon, we opted for Indian. What? Seriously?, Indian food in Caledon??? To my surprise, Caledon's Curry and Cocktail is a pretty legit Indian place. We went with a lighter (we thought it was a lighter order between the two of us) order, considering that there's a game still to be played: butter chicken, chicken samosa and a mango lassi to wash things down. Butter chicken was rich, savoury, super buttery and had the right mix of spicy. They were rather generous with the basmati rice... we couldn't finish it. The chicken samsosa were the heavier batt-ery type and not the thin crunch type. Which is fine by me. The filling was in the form of minced chicken. I personally would have preferred chunkier chicken. But still a good, satisfying appetizer. If you aren't super hungry, this could of been a mini meal. In addition, the hot sauce that was paired with the samosas was a perfect match. Finally, the mango lassi tasted exactly how a mango lassi should taste like...fruity and yoghurty. If I'm ever back in this neck of the woods, I would not hesitate to return to Caledon's Curry and Cocktail. Stay tuned for our next stop, erh... I mean after the game when my son is hungry again.
