Komo's is a great little intimate find. I went with a couple friends hoping to grab a drink and move on but the service was great, the margaritas were hand made (no factory mix here as they were poured at the bar). Oh, did I mention Monday night specials for $6 margaritas and $9.50 Cadillacs? And yes, you can add the rich Cadillac ads shot yourself, or drink the shot and then drink the 'rita- they don't judge. Food - we tried the shrimp quesadillas, carnitas tacos and chicken Cesar and everyone was happy. The chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful. Komo's is worth the trip to Naples Island on 2nd to enjoy, the great food, tasty margaritas and chill atmosphere. I will be back again for more fun and food! read more

We were driving by, the car in front of us stopped we looked over to our right and saw Komo's Cocina we pulled over and came in. It was getting late so we ordered small items. They had a taco Tuesday special one taco for two bucks. Not bad, but it was the small tiny little bitty street taco ones. It was ok for a late snack. The chips and salsa were tasty, the chips were crunchy and fresh and the salsa was tasty, not hot at all. The place was surprisingly nice inside, the waitress appeared to be new as they lacked service experience, hope it wasn't an attitude issue. OMG!! Food, drink, and service were all fabulous! I rarely order margaritas, but after trying my friend's, I had to order a Cadillac. After enjoying our drinks and guacamole, we ordered our food. There were so many yummy and unique choices that I had a rough time deciding, but with the help of our server, I decided on sweet potato fries (yes! They have sweet potato fries) and a shrimp taco. We all ordered a variety of items, and each dish was more delicious than the next. Lisa, the owner, happened to be there, too, so she came over to greet us. I was astonished to find out Komo's had been there for 11 years. The last time I had been to that location was probably 15 years ago when it was a different restaurant, all together. I'm honestly a little sad that that I did not start frequenting Komo's sooner. The staff is friendly, the dining area, although small, is bright and cozy, and the food offerings are unique and elevated . This is definitely my new go-to Mexican restaurant. On a whim, I headed out for Mexican food and a Margarita. I ended up at Komo's in Naples, Long Beach. I was greeted warmly, as I took a seat at the bar (I was alone tonight). Quickly, chips and salsa appeared! and a menu. The bartender pointed out that it was Happy Hour and what the specials were. I ordered a Margarita and some guacamole, to go with the excellent homemade chips. Street Tacos were on HH menu, but I wanted something crunchy, so I ordered Taquitos. Everything thing was very good. Service was excellent and friendly. There was a good crowd for a week night...many seemed to be regulars. This is a nice place. I'll be back! read more

Service is spectacular, owners heard me asking about tequila recommendations and jumped in with a couple tastes of ones they liked. They know their tequila and the space is nice and cozy and friendly. Already instantly I'm in love with the space. It may be the tequila samples talking but truly the food is delicious and the tequila selection impressive. Personally collected stack of tequila and they know them all. Once a spot emptied on the shelf they will find a replacement. Lots of unique one off bottles to try and throw in $2 taco Tuesday and I may have found a new home on Tuesday. read more

Wanted to try them for the first time on Saturday at 11am. The decor is clean, bright, and colorful. Extensive menu with reasonable prices. I'll include current menu pics for 2025. I enjoyed my chicken fajitas and a Cadillac margarita. My wife had shrimp ceviche and Cupcake Sauvignon Blanc, which she enjoyed as well. The server was very friendly. Two things, the kitchen was rather slow. Chips weren't ready when we got there and the fajitas took a while to arrive. Also we were the only ones in there the whole time. This is my 2nd time here! My friend Mike has a friend named Rocky who works here and she's so friendly! I met her a while back but always so good to see her again. Everyone here is nice and the vibes are always perfect for friends and get togethers. Today, we ordered taquitos, chips and salsa with guacamole and the Elote! Oooo! There's a reason Komo's Cocina feels like a neighborhood favorite--it just clicks. There's something about the energy here. Breezy, warm, and full of good smells drifting from the open kitchen. The food is solid across the board. Every bite had that homemade quality you hope for when someone says their menu's "from scratch." The drinks were clean and bright. The kind you finish too quickly without realizing. Staff was easygoing, quick with a recommendation, and made the place feel like home by the second round. That goes a long way. From out of town and met some friends that live locally here. We had Margaritas that were incredibly delicious. They had a great variety of them as well as some specialty ones. We also had some Bacon wrapped shrimp that were delicious. The staff here is incredible . They are very friendly, attentive, and efficient. Always checking to be sure we had everything we wanted. This is definitely a place we will return to when in the area. We are hoping to come back in a week or so to try their Bloody Mary's which we heard are the best around. read more

Food: The Komo burrito was delicious, it had the right amount of meat, rice, and beans. The green sauce that came with it was flavored and not too spicy. As for the guacamole and chips it was delicious nothing to complain about. As for my torta, the meat was tender and filled with flavor. It's all been very good so it's hard to choose. Sometimes they have specials that are seriously more interesting and better tasting than anything you'll probably have elsewhere. Great service. The food was okay, but it wasn't spectacular. It took a long while for appetizers and main dishes to come out, but everything was hot. We had ordered a chicken quesadilla, and they gave us shrimp, which the person has a mild allergy to. We had to keep an eye on him because he had eaten two pieces before noticing. Once we made staff aware, they did replace it and try to make it right. On the main dishes, it tasted like everything was over salted. The burrito filling was decent, but there was definitely more rice and beans than meat in it. It also tasted like the red sauce had burned. I had asked for a mango margarita, but I don't think there was any mango purée or fruit in them. Everything else was palatable. Service was friendly. I don't think I would have any major urge to go back, but it's okay for the area. read more

I truly debated whether or not to write this review. We've been a fan of Komo for a few years. They've never been really busy and they keep mystifying hours of operation. Despite that, we used to enjoy going there. I'm not sure what happened recently. There's a new cook and the food is absolutely suffering. Also, our last time in the waitress was high as a kite on something. She was relentless. Would not leave us alone and was just parked at our table talking 1000 mph. Had a wonderful meal & drinks for REALLY great prices. It was a Tuesday, so that meant Taco Tuesday. Meat Tacos were $2 ea & fish/shrimp were $4. Only $3 more for a side of beans & rice. I had the pollo & Baja fish. OMG SO YUMMY!! They also have a great, refreshing drink menu. My son had the Komo's Cadillac, while his gf had the Cucumber Margarita. Her sis is under 21, so the bartender made her a lemonade that was just beautiful & so refreshing. Our server was Rachel and she was top notch!! Thank you Amanda for the worst service I've ever received at a restaurant. Came here to celebrate my mother and was left hungry and confused. We arrived at 7pm and order: Flat iron steak, elote fries, taco salad, veggie burrito. After patiently waiting an hour, we finally flagged Amanda down to inquire about the status of our food. She went to check and came back to tell us that they ran out of steak and all they could replace it with us Asada steak, at this point we already wanted to leave but decided to wait for the rest of our food.. 5minutes later Amanda came back and mentioned that they ran out of fries (an appetizer we ordered more than an hour ago). We had no choice but to cancel the fries and since we had already invested about an hour and a half of our time we continued to wait. 8:40pm or 40 minutes later.. we asked about our food and we where told by another server that the kitchen closes at 8pm, and there was no food being cooked. We looked in the kitchen and they were doing dishes. No sign of food being prepared. I honestly felt like I did something wrong, I retraced my interaction with our server and I was polite and thankful from the beginning.. so why did we deserve this treatment. I wanted to treat my mother to a nice dinner for her bday and instead we left hungry, confused and disappointed. I worked in the restaurant industry and I understand things happen but I also am aware that the server is responsible for keeping us informed and feeling welcomed.. that's not how we left. Instead Amanda never came to apologize as she saw us expressing our concern with another server (bc we hadn't seen Amanda), but my mom spotted her hiding against the wall to avoid us as we left sad.. honestly more than anything I felt sad, mostly for my mother who we where trying to celebrate. I'll pass my review to my fellow Yelp community and to my personal contacts to never come to this establishment unless you want to feel neglected. We sat waiting for food for a solid 2 hours.. This place is a whole vibe. How could I have missed this place this whole time. Our server Rachel was so cool. As soon as I walked in it felt like I was in Cabo. Immediately seated with chips and salsa. The salsa was not what was expected but addicting and flavorful. Started with chicken taquitos that were obviously handmade, because they looked the same as the ones my mom would make and brought back fond memories, A+. The guacamole was some of the best I ever had. Entree was the fajitas with chicken and shrimp that came with black beans and rice. Fajitas were really good and it's a good thing my mother wasn't there cause I would have slapped her they were that good. The pink sangria I won't talk about because I want to keep it a secret to make sure there is some when I go back, so you have to discover that on your own, but that will be my go to drink when I go back. The food was just OK. Our waitress first brought us a check with our drinks left off. We were drinking soda, so it was like 10 bucks for our table. She realized her mistake and brought us a check for the full ticket. 9 times out of 10, the wait staff would just leave the drinks off but, no big deal. Just unusual. Then, we ordered churros. They took forever so we got the check and paid before they came out. We were running late. The second we took one bite, we realized they had rolled them in SALT instead of sugar. I'm not talking about a little salt flavor. I'm saying they were absolutely covered in salt. They were inedible. We told the waitress. She apologized it did nothing to make it right. This was the second time I went. The first time the food was good but I was grossed out because the menus and table were dirty and sticky. I figured I would give it another shot though. This time the food was just so so. What really bothered me was the female server we had. Although friendly she seemed as if she was strung out on drugs.
