I'm only putting 2 stars because it's not all of the staff, but BEWARE if you are African American or Hispanic they will follow you around the store and stare at you while you are checking out. I originally came here for the Sephora, but got distracted by the great Black Friday deals they had going on. They had a presentation of gifts upon entry and I kind of went crazy lol. I don't normally shop here, but they got a good bit of my money that day. They have affordable deals on clothes and home products. I think this store is great for people that work in offices when It comes to their clothes, they had pretty affordable stuff. read more

I don't know why I trick myself into coming into one of these stores. I never find anything, and I can confidently say that they don't usually carry items that I like in the least. I came in here in hopes of finding some throw pillow to use in my living space. I know I wasn't going to find them extremely cheap, but none-the-less I wanted to give it a go. Their housewares section wasn't all that great. It was sparse, there wasn't much selection and what I could find was way over priced for what they were asking. Kind of funny, for a department store, this department was really underwhelming. I even tried to browse the clearance section and they might as well have just left those items in the regular section. They were not clearance, they just slapped a different color sticker on them. Interesting thing here, they have two entrances but only one is usable. They want everyone to come in the one entrance which isn't always the best thing. See the entrance that they want you to come into is the furthest from the other stores in the plaza. If you are up for a walk to get here, great, or you will need to move your vehicle in the parking lot. read more

Did you know that you can do Amazon returns here?! Well now you do. I used to be a regular Kohl's customer (high school and maybe a bit after that). I hadn't been in this store much over the years but I waited last minute to get some Terp gear during my homecoming weekend and I remember they carry sports logo clothing. I didn't like the women's selection of Maryland stuff so I decided to try a boys' hoodie (size large). It fit perfectly and only cost me $19. That was a steal. I walked around a bit to see if I saw anything and a lot of items were marked down. I'll return to get more Maryland gear : ) read more

I needed to return an item I purchased online a couple months ago but never used. I'm thankful for Kohl's' long return window. The customer service desk is in the far back of the store, to the left. They make you pass all the awesome deals and affordable clothes before you get to your destination! I stopped like three times thinking, I need that, when I didn't need that. The customer service desk had only one person in line and one employee behind the counter, so the wait was short. The employee was friendly, personable, and efficient--I was at the counter for less than 30 seconds. No signing, no need to issue my credit card. Easy. The store was well kept and aisles free of clutter. I'm repeatedly impressed at how smart and effective their business strategy is that despite years of declining sales of department stores in general, Kohl's has been able to keep itself sustained and successful, still offer generous coupons, cash back, rewards, and deals, and not be considered a low-end department store. They have a lot of well-known brands and the quality of the clothing is high. It's definitely one of my favorites and has been for decades. read more

What can I say, I'm a Kohl's girl! They're always having a sale of some sort and it's easy to find a cute item. They also offer 'cash' which can be redeemed at a later time. This is both good and bad. Good because you have some 'money' to burn once you come back. Bad because you have to wait and it's easy to forget! OK, you won't find all the top brand-name items here. However you will find random lines (like LC Lauren Conrad, Simply Vera, and Rock&Republic) which actually have cute items that you wouldn't be embarrassed to wear. Again, this isn't Michael Kors. You will not find Armani. Dior is nonexistent. But, if you're looking for a nice pair of jeans or a maxi dress or a cute scarf...you'll find it. This is a large Kohl's all on one level, no escalator or elevator to deal with. There is also plenty of parking in front. My husband, Rich, particularly likes the men's clothes and shoe sections. Rich had recently done some Christmas shopping at another Kohl's but we were in the area and decided to stop in and browse. Rich picked up two more shirts for himself and I found a pair of winter gloves I liked. I thought the store was fairly neat and well-organized. It was quiet on a weekday morning so no waiting in line to check-out. There was one man at a separate desk marked Amazon returns. He looked a bit bored as there was no one using the service. It's a nice place to shop without having to deal with the mall traffic and parking. read more

Two stars because they have an Amazon return. However, while I was there I found two Christmas markdown items and a sweater. I strolled up front to make my purchase and the lady rang everything up at full price (come on Kohl's, the whole point of your prices is to run sales that make the overpriced seem reasonable!) anyway, I smiled at her and explained they were 70% off (I naively thought that she would see that they were Christmas and it's mid January) but she just sighed, gave me the eye-roll and said, "that's not how they rang up, Ma'am" so I told her to remove the items from my ticket and left. I am still bothered by her crappy attitude and from now on I will walk-in to do Amazon business and then haul ass right back out of there. read more

Chelsea J. is right about this Kohl's being disorganized, especially with clearance clothing. You do not want to even go near that area. Same goes for bathing suits. It's not even summer yet and swim suits are mishmashed together; different brands and some two pieces missing their partner. In fact, anywhere they have clearance items you are sure to find a mess. This doesn't however, keep me from coming back. I love their exclusive items such as Simply Vera clothing by Vera Wang. Also some of their body products such as grassroots, body products made with essential oils and no animal ingredients or artificial colors. They have lots of candles and other home accessories. What's even better is that if you have a Kohl's charge card you are privy to additional frequent sales discounts on top of current sales. I was here today because I scored a 30% discount card (some less fortunate folks got the lousy 15 or 20% off cards). My $75 tab dropped to $55.70! I love you Kohl's! read more

Not sure how this store survives given that there is a Target in the same shopping center. The stock is pretty bland, and not particularly well priced, but sometimes there are usable bargains on the closeout racks. I'm only in here when they mail out $10 gift cards to nearby addresses. Such slow cashiers. The only thing that will keep this place open is Amazon returns being located in their building. A smart move on their part. Even then, I don't know if anyone coming in for the Amazon returns will tolerate the long wait in the lines waiting to check out (they had 4 people checking people out and they still moved incredibly slow) I was about to leave but instead the woman behind me grumbled a few times and left without getting her item. Everyone online was grumbling to eachother about the wait. Also, I saw one girl go up to one of the cashiers and she had several items on the table to check out and the cashier tried to ring her up halfway. So she picked up the rest of the stuff and held it in front of his face. And he was said "oh! What a surprise! I didn't know you had more items!" This Kohl's was always my fav even though I live near the Laurel Kohl's, but I WILL NOT SHOP at any KOHLS again. Their consistent trend of stocking yukky POLYESTER BLEND clothing (which sometimes is so bad that you wash it once and have to throw it out or donate), cheaply tailored and poorly constructed clothing and goods, hiring non-friendly and unknowledgeable personnel is why I DO NOT SHOP THERE ANY LONGER! Also, their prices are way too high for the disgusting low low low quality crapola offered. BEWARE: If you get a Kohls Cash voucher you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT past the use date because they changed the policy. So now I have $30 KC which I have torn up due to this stupid change in policy. ALSO BEWARE: Tacky check out personnel do not give up asking if I have rewards or want to open a charge. If I politely say no thank you I don't want to participate---then SHUT THE HELL UP and quit harassing me. Two cashiers at the Laurel store had the nerve to berate me passively at check out when I told my cashier that opening a charge would be bad for my credit score (after she kept trying to get me to open a Kohl's charge) after she gave me the receipt turned to the cashier behind her and said I don't know what's so bad about opening a charge, she *me* doesn't know the advantages, bla bla. The other said she *me* obviously doesn't want to save and be ignorant about our rewards program. WTH? I was in shock. Then they got out from behind their registers and whisper whisper whisper. Weirdos. I guess they are being paid to hang out and spew stupidity at the same people who pay their wages: CUSTOMERS! BEWARE: Clueless and non customer service oriented managers and cashiers. These individuals need to work AWAY from people not with people. Also, the stupidity continues in management. So much wrong there but what comes to mind as the coupe de grace because it has happened twice over the last 3 years is this: A cashier at the SS store had to call a manager and ask if I could get Kohl's Cash if I purchased over $100 in gift cards. The manager told me that was a good question but she did not know. I was denied once when I was shopping for the holidays, and I didn't want to go through that ordeal again, so I asked her to explain why if the ad says get $10KC for every $50 spent it should not make any difference what I purchase as long as it's that amount. Not sure why there are soo many mediocre and low reviews. I have been coming here for years and the only way it gets dirty is because customers shove things all over the place, and customer service has never been an issue. The only down fall is this one employee hunting down customers to sign them up for a Kohl's charge. She's asked me number of times and I already have one. When my mom and I see her, we basically go the opposite direction to avoid her. I don't come to a store to be hassled. Let me, a. get what I need and get out or b. Let this be my time relaxing. You asking me that time and time again ruins my mood. But other than that...it's never a bad experience. Who knew I would ever come to be a fan of Khol's? But yes, I am. It's cheap and got good stuff. From Vera Wang dresses to Bobby Flay plates, from bedroom closet to kitchen cabinets, you can get it all at Kohl's. And this particular Khol's ain't too shabby. It was decently well-kept and the staff were ok. My one complaint was the long line to check-out. However, the exclusive lines carried here (i.e. Simply Vera by Vera Wang) will keep me coming back no matter what. read more

Usually I love Kohls, but my trip to this store was annoying. All I wanted was a basic baseball cap (color didn't really matter) and some sports sandals. Both were advertised online, with no notation that the store might not carry them. The hat section looked like a tornado had ripped through it, and all they had were obnoxiously large straw hats and those stupid cadet hats. I couldn't believe they didn't carry any basic baseball caps, but I confirmed with an employee. Who doesn't carry baseball caps?!? Strike one. Walked over to the shoe department. Again, another mess. Did a few laps through the womens' shoe section and couldn't find the sports sandals. Tried to find a worker who could help me, which took another 5-10 minutes. When I finally found a guy and asked if they carried ANY kind of sport sandals (at this point I didn't even care about brand/color...) he rolled his eyes and scoffed, "everything we have is out. if you can't find it, we don't have it." Then spun on his hells and walked away. No sandals = strike two. Snotty sales clerk = strike three. Will likely shop somewhere else to avoid this headache. read more

I guess Richard in the mens section didn't feel like speaking to anyone or working today. Was not educated in where the big and tall active wear was for Champion while he was folding their active wear. Had an attitude while I was asking a question about the active wear as if everything was organized in one section. It was not. If it was not for Rebecca and Vy I would have went to Burlington or JCPenny to get what I needed. If there are more complaints about this grouch, they need to let him go, see how his ass sitting on the couch with out a job feels. Maybe he attitude will change. Doubt it though. Hey, it's a department store. What did you expect? It's aisles are crowded with racks of clothing and it's floor plan is cluttered with sales and clearance items. If you have the patience to dig and search around then you can find what you need. Otherwise, it's quite the expended effort. Not to mention the lines are always super long. read more

It seems service at this location has really gone downhill. I went to return a set of sheets I got for Christmas (purchased at a different location) and went to customer service. When I said I wanted a return they said they were going to credit the card it was purchased with - not helpful, since my sister purchased it - ao I explained I wanted an exchange. They then said they couldn't do it until I picked out the item I wanted to exchange it for. I said I wished they would make that clear and I didn't want to have to wait in line again (had already been there 15 minutes) and she said I could bring it up and go to any check-out counter. After picking out my replacement, the cashier told me I had to go back to customer service because my replacement was a different brand of sheet. After waiting another 15 minutes at customer service, I got the same woman to begrudgingly do I wanted, after she complained that I hadn't told her it was a gift (she never asked) and that I was exchanging it for a different brand (I couldn't even find the same brand I was returning on the shelves.) Very frustrating and a complaint lack of willingness to be helpful. read more

This was my favorite Kohls. I shop here all the time. Today made me reevaluate where I shop. Apparently their Computers went down today while I was shopping. Instead of announcing that they could not process any sales due to technical issues, they let customers shop and waste their time. I found out after I went to check out. It was apparently down for awhile. Why they would let customers come in the store without warning them is beyond me. When I told the kohls rep that they should let people know of their technical issues she just looked at me and laughed. I don't expect over the top customer service but I didn't expect to be laughed at either when I voiced a concern. read more

This place is the worst. I placed an order on October 5th on Khols.com, five days later I called to check the status, the rep tells me that my order will be delivered on or by October 9th. Ok, the 9th comes and goes. I call them back on the 13th, well the representative who was very apologetic said the order date has changed and there is no further date of delivery listed. What!!!! what a minute, you have my money (sure they will reimburse me), not the point. I am waiting on my order that took me forever to find and yet they tell me that they do not know when my order will be delivered. It is easy to say just reimburse me, but that is always the case. I am going to hold them accountable because they charged me for freaking shipping and handling and the fact they estimated a date of delivery and they still it screwed up is completely Unacceptable!!!!!!!!!. I just want people to know to please be mindful of Khols, I should have known better, but my friends tells me that is what I get for shopping with them. Never Again, oh and finally I will be waiting to see how long they take to deliver my package which will determine who I will contact next. Shame on you Khols.... read more
